I felt a lil duped. I purchased a standard SUV that said it would fit 4 people and 5 bags but when I arrived was told it wouldn’t fit and had to pay $40/extra for a car that could fit it. The standard SUV for hertz is actually an intermediate or compact SUV which is odd bc it’s normally much bigger than those. I would’ve rented from somewhere else had I known I wouldn’t get a standard that could fit us.Reviewed 14 Oct 2024

They charged me for additional fuel at drop-off even though I refueled before dropping car off. So don’t leave without confirming with the agent the fuel level and to get a receipt. Additionally, customer service is awful; I could not even call in to complain and get assistance. They just said to fill out an online form and email my issue and they would reply in 3-5 business days. But then how can they investigate my issue? Horrible customer service when you cannot speak directly with anyone about your issue!Reviewed 28 June 2024

When I picked up the rental car (a Kia Niro EV), they asked me to return the car with 70-80% charge. That's exactly what I did (I returned it with ~190 miles of range, or 75% charge). Then they charged me $35 to charge the car up. I will be disputing the charge, but I should not have to waste my time doing this.Reviewed 8 Nov 2023
