Impressive as always. It is the airline of my choice, The dessert on the 2nd flight DOH-IAH was somewhat dry (the cake with cream etc) Check-in and boarding experience was fantastic, with the exception of CCU airport where chk-in staff refused to help with aisle seats stating the flight was full and accommodations were beyond him. Once I boarded there were plenty of available aisles. I was disappointed that this could not be done by self during online chk-in nor at the airport. Nothing more to add. Overall a good experience, TY QTR

Qatar Airlines code share with Indigo has been a terrible experience for me on these notes: 1. Indigo changed by flight without informing me of the change, they did not ask me if I am okay with the change. I discovered this change when I was trying to do online check-in through the Qatar mobile app. When I called Qatar customer support, they mentioned Indigo changed my flight due to the original flight being cancelled, but the fact is that flight was scheduled and departed correctly, it was never cancelled. 2. When asked why my flight was changed without informing me, they mentioned that they sent email/phone call to my travel agent, and it is was my travel agent that did not inform me, which again was another false statement. 3. I called Qatar Airlines (third call on the day of my trip) to request them to put me back on the same flight, they mentioned that they could for an extra $2500, as the original class I was booked on was not available, we are still talking economy only not business class, I said no way. 4. I called the travel agent, and they mentioned that they will work with Indigo and asked me to be prepared to travel on the later flight I was bumped to. While I was making my hotel/taxi arrangements for the new flight, I got a call and email saying they were able to get me on the original flight with no extra cost. So, after 2+ hours of talking to customer support, and a lot of stress on my last day of vacation, I flew back as originally scheduled, but this nightmare is just a horrible experience that I will never fly on Indigo/Qatar again. I planned to fly Qatar airways because I have flown them in the past and viewed the airline as a premium service provided. They still price this way but I found the experience to be subpar in several ways. 1 - check in - the line for check in was the longest I have ever had to stand it. Qatar airways does not have enough check in desks at the airport for the size of the flights they operate. 2- Carry on policy - there was little to no notification of changes to their carry on policy. Backpacks are considered a carry on rather than a personal item so if you have a backpack or larger handbag plus a roller size carry on, you were forced to check an extra bag or pay an additional carry on fee. This is not standard practice on other airlines and frustrating given that this was an international flight. On flight experience was good, generally comfortable seats, friendly staff and good meal service.
Its a long flight. Please provide free wifi as soon as long ts not interfering with aircraft data.

I was denied boarding at the Brisbane airport and it seems like I won’t get any refunds from the airline
In my return flight they couldn’t identify my ticket or boarding pass, I had to go to 3 different counters until I was able to get my boarding pass. The food was on, it was the bear minimum. They didn’t even recognise that I was a Muslim and can’t eat meat, chicken or pork. In one of the trays I believe they served me pork. The staff were very pleasant, but they need to be aware of their surroundings more carefully, one of them stuck her lower belly right into my face! I was shocked and very uncomfortable.
Overall I had good experience with China Southern airline. Nothing to claim. I hoped they could improve the meal quality that is.
Wow very impressed by the quality and attentiveness of service of China Southern. Lived the blankets! Will definitely fly with them again. Despite language barriers, a few attendants know enough English to understand our rudimentary Mandarin and respond to basic questions. Although they don’t explain the beverage and meal service on the website or ticketing documents, they offered regular beverage cart and snacks during the beginning hours and end hours of the long, transoceanic flight. A full meal at the beginning and end of the flight as well, and a midflight small sandwich (dinner roll sized) but we weren’t hungry and didn’t try that one. The expectation is that every sleeps during the middle of the flight. We were on a “redeye” departure from LAX with a morning arrival in China, so I don’t know if this service pattern is the same for other flights. The domestic flight we took from Guangzhou to Harbin offered conventional refreshments and meals like a US flight service. Note that they didn’t offer diet sodas. If you like to stay hydrated, I recommend bringing plenty of your own. It is served in small cups like any other drink. You can ask for a bottle but they’re tiny - about 6 ounces.
Not good - chair back could not move back for premium economy. Not worth the price
No wheelchair service at all ( I did request that service and also purchased the priority assistant bundle) , what a waste of money
We bought the business class tickets. The check-in staff and onboard crew were excellent, providing commendable service throughout. However, it was disappointing to find that China Southern Airlines does not have a lounge at SFO. Instead, passengers were provided with a $35 per person food voucher, which fell short of expectations. Furthermore, the quality of the onboard food left much to be desired, marking a significant decline compared to our previous flight experience in 2019, prior to the pandemic.
The flight was okay it was the kayak customer service that was poor, I have been trying to change my name on my flight ticket 3 days before my flight and nothing got done about it even tho I messaged so many times and phoned, all I got in return was that is was being processed and still to this day nothing has been done about it, I think it’s disgusting and un needed stress to the trip.
The food was perfect. The boarding process is a bit long. Given the late boarding time, I felt very tired by the time I was seated.
Flight was late but loading plane was much easier in Istanbul than athens. Food was so-so and choice was limited. Flight attendants were extremely courteous and helpful; however, it was difficult to get attention during night time service. Overall good experience and the price was right
Staff at the airport wasn't helpful or friendly. Probably the worst airport experience I have ever had, going and coming. The staff on the plane was better. Still not super friendly or personable. However, they were not rude like airport staff. They ran out of certain menu items. Maybe could have been prepared better? Overall just ok.
It was a pleasant experience. In flight entertainment could have been better
The entertainment selection itself was ok but the screen couldn't be turned off which was annoying because I wanted to read and not be distubed by flashing lights in front of me. I could see other people having the same problem with their screens. The crew seemed to be too busy to be bothered by our questions/requests. I found the seat quite uncomfortable, especially for a long flight. As a short person, I've accepted the inconvenience of always having seats higher than comfortable, but my neck hurt after a while because the headrest was too high and couldn't be adjusted further. The seat pockets in this plane seemed to be faulty. I could see people near me having the same problem of everything falling on the floor because it kept detaching from the back of the seat. It was pretty useless to keep anything in it, even the menu and sick bag wouldn't stay in. The food was meh. The omellete was just a hunk of egg - my next flight leg also offered omellete but was so much better than this one.
So boarding is a little slow when you fly 787 but on the 777 the business class had its own entrance. The entertainment can be a little bit more up to date Other than that it was a great experience food and service was great
Turkish airlines have improved a lot, please keep up the good work.
Aircraft you use on this route are always old and poor! This drives the entire experience down
This time my experience was very bad. The Turkish Airlines changed my flight from Erbil to Istanbul from 8:15 AM to 11:20 AM few days before the trip. This made my transit in Istanbul about ONE hour. I have a special needs child and need extra time to navigate the huge new Istanbul airport with a child. To make the matter even more stressful the flight took off about 20 minutes late from Erbil which made our transit even shorter (around 40 minutes). The Turkish Airlines failed me on too many points despite clearly asking for help and as follows: 1. I asked the checking agent in Erbil for seats at the front of the plane to exit first and he stated the closest one is in the middle of the plane and I should ask the flight crew for help 2. I asked the boarding agent in Erbil to ask the flight crew to let us out first since we don’t have much transit time and she said she can’t and they wouldn’t listen to her anyway. 3. When we boarded I specifically asked the cabin crew chief the same request and after some discussion he wanted to get rid of me and said, they will help when we land. I again politely reminded the same person to help us when we exit before landing and this time he stated he would NOT be able to even announce to the passenger to let the people which short transit first and I should just deal with it like other passengers. He also told me to ask for help from the airlines staff at the gate when we get to the airport. This is very rude coming from the Cabin Crew chief. 4. I asked the airline crew at the gate which he had a cell phone to call the gate of my flight to inform them we are on our way and the agent pretended he didn’t speak English… Frustrating 5. I went to the Golf Card station (used to transfer passenger in the large airport) and asked for a ride and the driver there “shooed” me away pretending he doesn’t understand English while looking into his phone constantly telling me “Go this way, Go this way”. I saw first-hand other well able passengers on these cards and Turkish looking families get help on our way … which is clear discriminations. 6. We finally got to the Gate as one of the last people and we didn’t even use the bathroom on our way and made it back to Canada. I am extremely frustrated with the TKY this time and feel discriminated against just because I look from the Middle East despite I am and my child are Canadian. The Turkish Airlines operations failed me on too many points this time.
There was a Turkish Airlines employee sitting in front of us, we noticed from her conversations we witnessed with the cabin crew and the fact that she boarded business class. She was sat in 16A. Firstly she was talking loudly the majority of the flight with two other men, one of which was leaning over the seat in front of her. This was disturbing as they were talking loudly and we were not able to sleep. The 12 hour long flight turned into a nightmare, even the noise cancellation didn’t work for their chatter. Secondly she requested extra meals from the crew for her male friends. We believe the meals came from business class. They also took their e-cigarettes out and were caught the cabin crew, but no further action was taken. Sitting in economy and seeing this is extremely disheartening. Next time I will book Emirites, I don’t think their staff would be allowed to behave like this.
I had connection flight. I barely made it to the next flight. I had to run to get to the next flight which was far away from where my first flight was landed . On top of that they search my stuff before boarding that added to the time. Food was ok but they forgot to serve our row with drink and also when it was our turn, they ran out of second option for food and we didn’t have any options for food.

This was my first time ever flying China Eatern and it will not be my last. I was very satisfied with my whole experience and trip. Thank you very much and until soon.
It was just fine. The sirlines did live up fully to my expectation.
2 parts to the journey. First leg covered in a newer plane with decent staff + POOR FOOD QUALITY but the second half didn’t leave a positive impression at all as the plane itself was an older built and the crew didn’t serve properly. Language is an issue with China Eastern flights as always, but unmotivated crew just makes it even bad.
Delay in off-boarding due to customs at SFO... pilot announcement should have come earlier so passengers don't clog aisles.
The temperature of the plane cabin is too hot. Sweat and uncomfortable. Also my food tray was broken down drinks fall off
The landings were smooth . Being unable to check-in online was terribly stressful and the queue at Haneda exemely long. We paid extra for window seats and did not get them.
Again, I was presented with birthday pastries two times as a celebrated my birthday on both legs of my trip. I will keep flying to China using China Eastern airlines. As they made this trip a special one thank you.
Couldn’t fly since they wouldn’t issue a boarding ticket. Something to do with not taking the departing flight since it was cancelled due to weather. No notice or anything about the trip being invalid. The app made it seem like I was all good for it. Never trusting travel agency
A lot of value considering the cheap ticket prices. All meals served were Chinese food. Would fly them again considering the ticket was half the price of any others
Good was great. Some of the older crew were grumpy and not customer friendly.
The crew did not really interact with me which was no problem as I was fine. I did see that they were somewhat short with some passengers but that was not common. Just in general, they did not seem friendly - no requirement to be so but I am used to a friendly crew on most flights. The food was just ok but with a flight that large, I would think it hard to make something more elaborate.

Awful! First off, 15 minutes after purchasing my tickets I received an email to purchase my seats for the flights I paid for, charging me an additional $400 plus to be able to sit with my wife. Then, our flight(s) were late leaving 3 out of four times from the origin of flight (PDX, BUD, LHR). They couldn't even load the airplane to balance, had to wait 45 minutes to reload. After being late into Heathrow, they didn't have the personal to get the gate extension to the plane. Made our connections very tight, made us run from gate to gate. Not to mention Heathrow is one of the worst airport to connect from(if you can use Frankfurt or Amsterdam, they are both superior to the dump London is) event hough it is BA's home, the gate personal was rude and very stuck up. After running through the freaking airport, taking a bus, train and 3 elevators covering 7 floors in all. On our return to Portland, the service to Portland from Hawthrow was great, especially Chris, who was very aware of everyone's need and pleasant throughout the flight. This was my 3rd and final cross Atlantic flight with BA. Each time they were marginal to say the best. Their personal both at the Budapest and London stops were awful and made me flying with them poor. I will avoid BA and Heathrow at all cost if I can.
The flight was not too long, so entertainment and food were not applicable, but the crew was really nice and kind. The flights left 30 minutes late but either made up the lost time or it was calculated into the flight time, which was very important for people who connected to another flight at that huge airport.
Our flight was delayed and this caused us to miss our connecting flight. During the flight I noticed that BA had already rebooked us for a different flight the next day. Although technically we hadn’t missed our connecting flight yet! We were stuck in London overnight causing us to miss all subsequent plans we had (hotel already booked in NY and a flight home to Chgo)! This cost us over $400 in fees to change everything
First, my carry on was taken from me and I was forced to check it in in Budapest. I had to take my laptop out of it, and carried under my arms duringin the entire journey. Then we did not land in Newark, but were diverted to Bangor. We spent the night there, and only flew to Newark 24 hrs later, after multiple delays. And finally me luggages were lost and I only got them 4 days later. The one thing what was good was the in flight entertainment. The trip was an ordeal.
Staff very good as was flight. Bad experience getting through passport control at Budapest airport. Very crowded, long wait and told to get in the wrong queue
Food is just horrible, by your own. There is no leg room and I am 5' 2" and I was struggling by the end of the 7.5 hours flight. There is no good music selection, I was looking for more classical music to listen to.
THe flight, crew and service was good. The only problem was the long delay and that the Captain's announcment about the delay was only in English on a BUDapest Hungary flight.: And no one spoke Hungarian from the flight crew.
