Cons: "No issues that caused us any problems."
Cons: "Terrible customer service."
Pros: "Comfortable seat."

Cons: "The plane was delayed for more than one hour which we did not have sufficient time for transfer to LA. We have to run instead of walking."

Pros: "Comfortable seats"
Pros: "Service was very good despite our one hour delay! Everyone was appropriately apologetic though."
Cons: "Flight was one hour delayed not due to equipment but because the ground crew failed to load the cargo in time! That was annoying. (Then an ill patient had to be removed resulting in a further delay trying to retrieve her luggage.) I felt bad for those with tight connections."

Pros: "The customer service was great when I missed my flight."
Cons: "It was difficult to have a shorty layover and transfer from Auckland to Queenstown. I missed my flight."
Pros: "The seats are super comfy and the staff are lovely and very attentive to ones needs. The only down fall would be that I had to pay for movies and a meal wasn’t included with my flight, but that’s minor. Also, baggage cost me 120.AUD for one bag! I thought that was pretty outrageous for one check in bag. But the pilot was very good and informative as the overall flight was smooth. Thanks again air New Zealand."
Cons: "Over priced check in bag. Due to it not being according to weight. Ridiculous."
Pros: "The pilot would tell us as we were flying over different mountains, regions etc, and the flight was not at all crowded, and there is so much more seat space than on any domestic American flight I’ve ever flown!"
Cons: "They charged 60NZD for one small checked bag! And then I misunderstood the policy on lithium batteries and switched my power banks from carry-on to checked bag and they confiscated them. So there goes that."
Pros: "Food and service good"
Cons: "Had a large person next to me so not much room :-("
Pros: "The people and the service were top notch. I fly on numerous carriers and overall AirNZ has been my favorite, hands down, primarily because of the helpful kind friendly staff."
Cons: "Disembarking down onto the tarmac, and being made to stand out there for about 5 minutes (supposedly for safety's sake) while another plane was being pushed out from the next gate, all the while breathing in the choking nauseating jet exhaust fumes while our own plane was idling."
Pros: "Nothing really. Smooth boarding.on time departure"
Cons: "Passengers with more than one bag as hand luggage"
Pros: "Everything else was great"
Cons: "Larding is shambullick from LAX! Needs improving your system . No one to tell you early which line and existing signs for economy and Premium do not stand out .. staff need to be on the ground sooner letting people know and asking them which seats to prevent most people being in the wrong queue"
Pros: "Everything! It's Air NZ!"
Pros: "The staff lady told me to there’s no food available then I told I need to buy it last time my flight was Jetstar was good even everyone can buy food on board but leta I called Chinese lady understood how I was hungry she brought me bread with batter and coffee that’s was good and best service I always thank to her service"
Cons: "the person next too me was overflowing in their seat so much they took up a quarter of my spot.. it was not work making the flight uncomfortable by making a stink about it but I paid for a whole seat not 3/4 of one!"
Pros: "Entertainment options"
Cons: "The fact that our booking through Kayak did not record we had booked luggage. We KNOW we had booked luggage. Air NZ wanted to charge us $160 each bag. Eventually BYOJet got us through to Virgin who allowed us to buy luggage for $25 per bag. Thank you Virgin for your wonderful assistance 1 1/2 hours before departure. Virgin's standard ticket has 23kg luggage included. What is the problem with a ticket bought online through agents such as BYOJet and Kayak?"
Pros: "Flight was on time, airplane was clean, flight attendants friendly and attentive. Very pleasant flying experience"
Pros: "Comfortable, easy flight."
Cons: "Ground crew not as friendly and helpful as is ANZ standard. Bag check-in is not more efficient. It's a pain for passengers."
Cons: "Someone sitting in my seat already!"
Cons: "Having to pick up our bags and going through customs was horrible and stressful. Bags coming off the flight last made the customs line very long, after going through customs couldn't find where to check our bags on to Queenstown, finally found the the automatic check-in, too late only one person to help. So late had to walk to the domestic terimal, in a hurry. Finally found the check-in, checked all 3 bags, arrived in Queenstown, only two came in."
Pros: "The inflight seatback entertainment."
Cons: "Tiny seats and no snacks or drinks in flight."
Pros: "Friendly crew, good in-flight entertainment"
Cons: "Flight was running about a half hour late"
Cons: "We were booked on a 7 a.m. flight Wednesday morning. We arrived from Syndney the night before and wanted to make sure we were set for the early morning flight so went to an Air NZ information desk to get boarding pass. The agent printed out an e-ticket and said we were good to go. We arrived an hour and a half early to the gate, with our carry on bags as we have done all over the world. We heard an announcement about bags needing to be checked and assumed ours would be gate checked if needed (as anywhere else in the world). The gate agent didn't arrive til 20 minutes before the flight and told us we DIDN'T have a boarding pass and needed to return to the ticket agent and check our bags. By the time we ran back to the ticket agent we were told it was too late to check our bags. We had to pay $100 more a piece to fly LATER through Christ Church. We were on our way to meet our kids for vacation and ended up losing a day and $200 additional dollars because we were given inaccurate information by the Air New Zealand info desk."
Pros: "The service was great and the seats had a lot of leg room. Very easy to check in online and drop bags at the airport."
Cons: "The wine was delicious and I wanted more"
Pros: "Significantly more leg room than other competitors! Even with the person's chair reclined in front of me, I was still able to be comfortable. The staff were excellent, the food was as good as can be (given that it is airline food), the choices for entertainment were great. Lots of overhead storage!"
Cons: "Some of the screens need to be refurbished. The person in the seat behind me had to jab at their screen to make it work (or perhaps they were too lazy to be conscientious?). Mine worked fine but I had to be very cognizant to leave my finger on the screen rather than poke."
Pros: "It was a full flight and all went smoothly"
Cons: "It could have been on time bu these things happen"
Cons: "Average service, too bad they are partnered/owned by Qantas"
Cons: "There're unoccupied rows, but still pack passenger together instead of offering the empty seats to couples."
Cons: "Boarding routine Space available"
Cons: "Slugged $60 for having one kg extra than on the flight down. Rep Australia in senior golf event ..given a wine box this was weighed too. What a rip off!"
Pros: "I got home. Eventually."
Cons: "Delayed almost 2hrs with no real explanation"
Pros: "Crew were pleasant"
Cons: "Jetstar terminal has a lack of seating"
Pros: "Easy check in"
Cons: "Crew didn't come around enough with water"
Pros: "I think free coffee and tea would be a good touch. Back to Quantis I go . all staff good. Jan"
Pros: "great flight - fast and easy."
Cons: "it's jetstar so seats aren't the most comfy, but for a few hours, it's just fine."
Cons: "Delayed as usual - luggage check again"
Cons: "Well I thought I was never going to see my family again as there was so much turbulence. At one time I thought the plane was going to tip over. I’m a regular traveler and have traveled the world but never encountered anything like this before. The weather seemed fine . There was no rain or thunder. So what could have caused so much turbulence?"
Cons: "No in-flight entertainment, no even access to an App via your own Ipad"
Pros: "Quick check-in"
Cons: "The whole terminal is budget. Hardly any seating once you go through to the gates and its a 7-minute walk back to the food court. Nowhere to charge phones. Nothing complimentary on the flight so if Virgin or Qantas are around $20-30 more, do it!"
Pros: "Perfect landing!"
Pros: "The staff"
Cons: "The landing was super rocky"
Cons: "1 hour delay on take off"
Pros: "Charge for an extra 2 kgs = AUD50. Pretty average customer service if not slightly shoddy. Reminds me to avoid budget airlines. Cabin crew officious"
Pros: "Great staff"
Cons: "Delayed departure"
Pros: "The cabin staff were friendly"
Cons: "Plane was delayed due to excess baggage weight in hull. The baggage had to be unloaded and then reloaded again, while we sat on the tarmac for an hour."
Cons: "Jetstar is a budget carrier so I do not begrudge the additional costs for food, baggage, etc. I do, however, continue to be disappointed with their poor customer service. The service desk had a long line, 4 service representatives ad only one representative service customers."
Pros: "Customer service was great.Flight was on time and the weather was good for a day and a half"
Cons: "I did not like it when i got to the airport up there at 7:15 pm and when my Brand new suitcase came around on the carousel it had 2 smashed handles on it.I Reported it straight away to the people in departures. The young guy their gave me a number to ring, which i will be doing tomorrow"
Pros: "It was all on time. A good flight."
Cons: "Ended up on a Jetstar flight on a codeshare arrangement with our booked airline Qantas. The journey didn’t start well when our bags would not scan through the self serve checkin as we had not booked direct with Jetstar. We then asked for an aisle seat, but this was refused - the “customer service” assistant advised we should have paid extra to pre-reserve a seat (a no cost option on Qantas). Then when we entered the plane we found that both adjacent aisle seats were in fact vacant. Food was an additional cost item - on an 8 hour flight. Those unlucky enough to ask for a meal late found that there was nothing left for them. Entertainment was also an additional cost item - when paid for the selection was extremely limited, the system slow. The entertainment froze up requiring a reboot. Though not the airline’s fault, the person behind was very fidgety, making it very uncomfortable for anyone sitting in front of him. If the seats were slightly further apart we might not have had that experience either. All in all not the best, given that we had booked with a full price airline and ended up on a budget airline instead."
Pros: "They actually gave us a reason for the delay - plane had not been cleaned the night before."
Cons: "No further updates when revised departure time had past and we were still waiting in line. Delay avoidable and not acceptable for first flight of the morning"
Cons: "I didn't check in my bag, didn't bother to weigh it. They weighed it at boarding and it was too heavy (my bad, I probably should have checked) and had to be checked in. My gripe is that they made me pay $60 even though my ticket included a free piece of luggage. Their argument was that I didn't use that facility at check-in and therefore waived the right to that piece of check baggage."
Pros: "Plane delayed missed connection had to spend night in Melbourne"
Cons: "Lack of legroom."
Cons: "Plane left an hour late"
Cons: "They choose to weigh bags just as we were boarding and as I was 1kg , I had to check in my bag , but apparently it has to go on the next flight. So now I have to wait for 2.5 hers in Sydney for my bag and had to pay $50 for the inconvenience. I would expect this from Tiger not Jetstar"
Pros: "Boarding was quick"
Cons: "Shame the staff were not more friendly, I took my rubbish to find a bin and the flight attendant expressed her annoyance and me. Asking her where I can put it. They don't smile and when you asked a question they treated me like I was a nuisance"
Pros: "The price, service, punctuality and the excellent service of all personal involved. Excellent service"
Cons: "A little de organized the boarding process but I have to say caused by passengers behavior, in addition some of the passengers didn't follow the luggage rule and nothing happened. I would like to suggest some information during the fligh. Where were be and what could we be seeing during our flight."
Pros: "Arrived safely, flight quick. Staff friendly"
Cons: "Price so costly for a quick trip for family function"
Pros: "Efficient on time departure and arrival. Good inflight entertainment"
Cons: "Credit card only for purchases without advance notice is a bit ordinary"
Pros: "It was a good flight, good pilot"
Cons: "The flight was delayed It is a 7+ hour flight I think you could offer some snacks and coffee or tea for free At least one good movie for free Every airline I've chosen to fly with does it but Jetstar It was quite disappointing"
Pros: "Baggage fees are extremely high, about the price of an additional ticket. Kayak didn't do a great job at explaining how to secure multiple baggage pieces in advance. Kayak provided no information on meal/drink advance order/purchase options. This was my fort time flying this airline and I didn't know what to expect. We experienced a mechanical issue feat but the pilot was great at providing updates. We were later delayed due to another aircrafts gas spill on the tarmac. Again, great communication from the flight deck. We were able to make up the time. Baggage fees are extremely high, about the price of an additional ticket. Pros: "Pilot made correct decision to abort approach."
Cons: "No plan to get passengers from Christchurch to Queenstown except bus or rent car, 7 hour drive in middle of the night. Never ride on Jetstar, take a car it's faster."
Cons: "Each bag costs $50 plus there was a charge for any food or drink."
Cons: "Worst flight ever, no leg room, no free glass of water even, and got raped on luggage charges, won't fly with them again."
Pros: "Due to storms a 1 1/2 hour delay which is understandable until I found a friend on Qantas left on time. Delay on all Jetstar to Sydney and that afternoon but unaccountably Qantas mostly in time."
Cons: "They look like they are offering a cheap price, but then charge you $160 NZ per bag. Only 7k allowed per carry on & they give no leeway. Don't even get complementary coffee or tea. No leg room seats are so crammed together. Take another airline you will save in the long run."
Cons: "Had to pay a surcharge for bags that was not clear at the time of booking, was supposed to be "per bag" but the airline did us a favor and only charged us for one bag. While that seems nice, it's clear it's a bogus charge if rules don't need to be followed. One flight the baggage fee was $50, another was $160 - with these costs included they are actually more expensive than other airlines. Took an international flight and all food and drinks on the flight had to be purchased, pretty ridiculous that the airline does not include water over a three hour travel time."
Pros: "The smooth takeoff and landing, the staff cortesies"
Cons: "The 5min wait but perfect otherwise"
Cons: "Flight delayed out of Adelaide. Terminal 4 at Tullamarine is badly designed - drop of/fpick up long way from booking in and gates long way from booking in area. Disembarking on to tarmac in pouring rain unpleasant - no umbrellas"
Cons: "plane was half hour late leaving because JetStar does not allow enough time for turn arounds from plane arriving from elsewhere. That said, the pilot did do his best to catch up for lost time once in the air."
Cons: "Flight was delayed by 35mins. Seats very crowded, we all had to get out of our seats to let the window passenger in and out. No screens on seat backs, lucky I had my iPad and could listen to podcasts in the 3+hr flight."
Cons: "Terrible exchange rate and high transaction costs for food puchases made on plane."
