Be prepared to wait if there's any weather going on at either airport. Bring a book and snacks! You'll need them! Also, airport charges like $10-13 for a pb&j!!! Bring your food.
Verified travelerFlew with JetBlue-June 2026
Check in online, get your boarding pass and go directly to the gate unless you have checked baggage.
LoluFlew with Icelandair-Aug 2026
Be very vigilant when it comes to your gate number - it might change.

Make sure if you are bringing one personnel bag that you don’t have a pocket book/purse as well. Purse should be placed I your personnel bag if you have one

Flight was full and they made me check my bag, so come prepared to do so.

LisaFlew with Aer Lingus-Dec 2025
Look at Jet Blue and Delta. May be a bit more expensive but keep an eye out for fare reductions and book early.
Verified travelerFlew with American Airlines-Jan 2026
To create enough time and be prepared to walk for some distance to locate boarding gates
Verified travelerFlew with Aer Lingus-July 2025
Whatever airline you choose, spring for a class with more leg and overall body room than economy (or whatever the cheapest class is called).
KimFlew with American Airlines-May 2025
Bring something to eat especially if you are connecting flights. Biscuits do not cut it, if you get restless make sure you have something to help such as an essential oils that help calm muscles or restless legs.
GeraldFlew with Delta-Mar 2025
Book a flight early in the morning. The plane & crew will have arrived the previous night
HopeFlew with Delta-Mar 2025
Pack food unless you’re in first class. No food served.

Download videos and other entertainment to phone or computer before getting to the airport.
Verified travelerFlew with Scandinavian Airlines-Sept 2024
Check with the airline and validate that all of the advertised benefits are indeed available. Paying higher price for the Economy Plus tickets may not be worth it for you as a number of advertised benefits are not available, definitely not in Boston
VicençFlew with Air Canada-Sept 2024
Boards from some gates that are far, walk there in advance.
BradFlew with Iberia-Oct 2024
Make sure to book your own seats and don’t leave it up to someone else. We were supposed to have window and aisle seats and did not. We had to sit in the middle of the plane which is cramped and difficult to move let alone eat.
PaulaFlew with Alaska Airlines-July 2024
Get your boarding pass online and save it to your wallet App on the iPhone. Makes it so easy
CarolFlew with Alaska Airlines-July 2024

Invest in TSA PREcheck. Quick and easy security check, with smaller waiting lines.
Verified travelerFlew with Air Canada-Mar 2024
Put your coats and other stuff in your checked baggage if you have as Air Canada has a notorious issue with not enough space for carry-on’s in their smaller planes.
BarbaraFlew with Aer Lingus-May 2024
Pack what you need in a carryon since it is likely you'll arrive without luggage.
MaximFlew with TAP AIR PORTUGAL-Mar 2024
I was waiting for a flight boarding announcement in the Lounge in terminal C at Logan Airport in Boston, but the announcement never came. If I did not go to the gate to check, I might have missed the flight. So, do not count on the airline to communicate flight boarding information to the lounge staff. They are supposed to do that, but, apparently, sometimes it does not happen.
LynneFlew with Delta-Feb 2024
The process was smooth and the staff were attentive; just leave yourself adequate time for security and use the Delta app - you'll feel confident that things will go smoothly in normal circumstances.

Despite having numerous passengers held up by American Airlines delays. Qantas (an AA partner) closed boarding with 0 flexibility

Having the computer outage compounded by delayed takeoff while waiting for aircrew (who were also delayed) resulted in me missing my int’l flight

Boarding , crew and meals were all amazing. Couldn't wish for a better LOOONG flight from Dallas to Sydney .

Boarding was effortless, the food was outstanding, the seats in Premium Economy were extremely comfortable, and the staff and crew were excellent.

We had a cancellation due to weather, but the American Airlines staff was very helpful. Once we got on a plane, the trip was great.

PREMIUM ECONOMY - excellent !Brilliant new plane. Excellent tv catalogue. Good food. Good communication and service from all friend Australian crew. Good communication from captain. Best travel experience in years.

I couldn't hear all of the announcements. It was nice when they put them on the screen.

On the Qantas flight, I could barely hear some of the announcements. It was better when I could read them on the screen.

Great flight and attendants. Seating is a bit weird. The extra price seats aren’t too worth it.

large seats was good. delayed flight, no food, no entertainment. plane was not cleaned, see rubbish from prior flights

Great, except the canon was so cold. Even the flight attendants put jackets on

The app logs you out right when you are boarding requiring all passwords and reservation number for the flight. Super annoying

The pre-order only approach for fresh food is really challenging

Flight was 2.5 late. Maybe not United’s fault but late none the less. We were late as well on the first leg. WiFi quit working with an hour left.

I would have preferred a flight voucher and to hop on a different flight. Delayed over 6 hours.

Boarding was great, and the crew were very friendly. The seats must have been a bit on the older side and you could feel some of the seat components through the padding. Also, the plugs did not work on the row's entertainment screen or charging ports. Checked bag was transferred for connecting flight, and we appreciated how early we had the connecting gate information.

It was Swiss. Our kosher meals were literally frozen solid and therefore inedible, and the crew didnt care.

Food was great. Staff was phenomenal. Seats were a bit hard and could use a lot more entertainment options as far as movies to choose from. WiFi was good. Overall great trip.

The flight was delayed, they didn’t even have water for the toilets or for drinks

It’s always a great time flying with united airlines.

The flight was delayed in 30 minute increments for a total of 4 hours and 30 minute delay. All other flights to Chicago left on time except for this one flight. If there is an issue with the inbound flight, just let customers know so they can find another flight right away, Once we got on the plane there was another 30 minute delay taking off at 10:30 at night which is very unusual that a flight wouldn't be ready to take off

They have overselled the ticket and kicked me out from boarding, All my Plans were collapsed and important network meeting missed.also I booked direct flight i have to go through an 1 stop and it was frustrated.

Horrific. We were delayed due a flight attendant stuck in traffic en route to the airport. Over 100 people were then stuck in Charolette. Then I ran to make my layover only to find that my connection didn’t have a plane anymore. Waited 2.5 hours without any updates. On the flight we had to beg for even a pretzel option.

Because I bought my ticket from Underpricer, I could not check in online. I could only check in at the airport and that was deeply frustrating because I had to arrive very early. The flight also departed 45 min late and passengers were given no explanations about why we were delayed. I was worried I would miss my connecting flight. Once on board, however, the flight was fine.

Terrible boarding and first class experience. Nice staff but overall disorganized, dirty plane.

The flight was delayed significantly and we sat on runway after landing for awhile. Best thing was the flight attendant, Jenny, in first class, who was very professional and attentive. She was excellent - the rest of the flight was not.

Early departure meant on time arrival. Only real problem was free internet had issues, although chatting with the internet help desk (you can do this via aainflight.com) got the issue resolved.

The staff and service on American Airlines were truly outstanding. I had requested wheelchair assistance for my mother due to her knee issues, and the team went above and beyond every step of the way—from boarding in Boston to our arrival in Chicago. Their care, professionalism, and attentiveness made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I’m very grateful for the support they provided.

Found that the plane used for this short flight is smaller and therefore the seats are really squeezed tight.

Tv screens and movie selection v good. Friendly staff. They were really worried about max capacity and room for carryons. That is never fun but i had no problem finding space when I boarded.

Liked they had tv screens on plane but no service for drinks and a snack when other airlines do

The plane was very cramped and no room to move. Other passengers brought suitcases that didn't fit in the overhead bins. This made boarding and departing extremely slow.

I bought a ticket from Kayak. When I got to the airport, the was no ticket. I had to pay 5X to get to my destination. No response received from Kayak. I will NEVER use them again.

everything was fine. but paying for 1 piece of check-in luggage and denying passengers to board with carry-on luggage which by air line's standards does not fit is not acceptable. when one travels for a longer time one needs to have some essentials

Pearson Airport could not properly handle all the passengers who they needed to process in order to properly get them on board. As a result, I missed the departure of my flight from Toronto. The only saving grace is that Air Canada found a flight that only delayed me by one hour. However, this was no thanks to Pearson Airport!

I had a good experience. I liked being informed about the status of my luggage

The staff could have been friendlier. And Having the flight on time would have been much more convenient.

Old, noisy plane, bad coffee, delayed. Flight attendant was very nice.

We boarded 1.5 hours late. Long wait for the bags when we got to Mexico City. Long wait to get on plane with people mover truck. Friendly staff. They answered all questions as best the could. Such a long, long walk from the plane to customs. Thank you, Michael A. Burris Cambridge, Massachusetts USA

I was forced to check my carry-on bag, which I don't appreciate.
