The staff were excellent considering it was a jam packed flight. We had to wait nearly an hour for our baggage to appear on the carousel. That was a real shame.

It is offensive that such a biased newspaper is on offer, when there are other Chinese newspaper with a more neutral stand. Cathy has been viewed as a sympathiser of “yellow” rioters because of its involvement by management n crew. Now it just brings it more to the memory how CX might be what the leaked reports that many equipment has been compromised by CX crew onboard. Many of CX customers are from middle class, and it could be a big turn-off. Cons: "I missed my flight. My flight from Melbourne with Qantas was delayed. I received an express connection ticket to go through Immigration, customs, etcetera. I ran, all for nothing. I should have known better, for sure. 2 hours is unrealistic. But this tickets shouldn't be offered, they give the impression that you can make it. And the staff in Melbourne, and the crew on the plane, all were extremely reassuring. I got to the gate of Alaska Airlines, the people there could only offer me a ticket two days later. And basically they said it was Qantas fault. Having almost no time and no clear way to communicate with Qantas (the 1800 number is useless), I had to book and pay a new ticket. Now I am going to try to contact Qantas for reimbursement but I am not optimistic. In summary, do not buy these types of tickets "in collaboration" with two companies. Especially if you make the connection in the US. It is a scam. 2 hours is no time. And even if you have 3 or 4 hours and there is a delay, you are basically on your own, and the companies give the responsibilities to each other."

Cons: "My Fiji flights between Honolulu and Auckland were cancelled so they rebooked me on Jetstar and New Zealand Airways Apparently the international date line was not taken into account and I arrived in Sydney hours after my connecting flight to Auckland had already left! I talked to 7 different people in all corners of Sydney airport and no one knew what to do with me. My attempts to call Fiji Airways from my cell phone and then a landline at the airport didn't go through so I ended up messaging a friend in the States and she was able to call and get me booked on a NZ Air flight to Auckland that left the next morning. Both Jetstar and NZ Air gave me different information on what paperwork I needed and what my baggage and carry-on allowance was, which was frustrating. I finally arrived in Auckland 26 hours later than scheduled. I understand the cyclone cancelling the Fiji flights but the rescheduling error caused some significant expenses and a great deal of hassle."
