The staff and service of SIngapore Airlines is hard to beat. They are excellent. If they could only figure out their call center fiasco it would be a top airline. Attempting to call SQ is like trying to talk to the dead.

Pros: "Three of us were sitting separately. Airline is able to accommodate us so that we get to sit together in a section where there is extra leg room."

I don’t think they did it on purpose so it was just misunderstanding. My flight was on SQ 38 from Singapore to LAX on October 30 2019 Other than that. All is amazing. After a number of flights in Economy on other airlines I'm spoiled by Singapore Airlines and also by Business Class. And their fares seemed much less than others for the JFK to FRA route. Had no idea this level of luxury existed on an airplane."

I am seeking further compensation through Australian Fair Trading and through Class Action Lawyers (as this impacted every passenger on this flight, not just Business Class)"

Cons: "The manager at the ticket office harassed my friend about his VISA- wasted 2 hours of our time saying his visa was not valid when it was. Then she finally gave him a boarding pass. As we hit the gate, she chased us down to yet again, say he couldn't board because of the same reason. She told him when he got back to Hyderabad that he would be charged as a criminal & be held in a cell all alone without a way to commicate to others. It was absolutely absurd!! We made it back to Hyderabad and like we knew the whole time, his VISA was fine."

No announcement was made 45 minutes before landing in Tel Aviv, just an announcement at 30 minutes forbidding movement to the restroom. Tea and coffee were not offered frequently in Business even though several seats were empty and attendants were not overwhelmed. Announcements in English were confused and confusing. NO SIGNS at gate explaining 26 A was for business and 26 B was for economy and these gates were a 3 minute walk from each other. No staff to advise until finally an announcement. Lounge is ‘tired’ with limited food selections. Disappointing all around."

I was never even able to do web checking due to their system error neither at home nor was able to use self checking system at the airport and was informed by staff at airport it's recurring problem. It surprises me that it's not fixed causing passengers pain at the airport and flight."

The cabin crew also did not have enough meat options for all the passengers and did not provide anything as much as an apology for such. The worst part of the journey were the other passengers and their lack of consideration for those around them. If the cabin crew were more attentive and informed passengers to return to their seats and keep the aisles clear there potentially would have been less of an issue."
