Cons: Lack of food online, wasn't made clear when booking that had to pay for a meal. Had to pay 10,000 nepalese ruppes just to get 2 of our small bags on. 15kg in total. That's around £80, very expensive. Tried as much as I could to pay online for baggage but was going around in circles. Felt that for the price of the flight paying and extra £80 for 2 small bags was alot of money.

Cons: The seat was moving of its own accord. I should have paid more for a flatbed. I don’t enjoy the music played at the start and upon takeoff. I wanted to sleep but it was interrupted all the time.

Cons: Seems like Malindo is starting to degrading the service quality. The flight I took before: they change the airplane to batik which was worse with no entertainment, smaller seat pitch, etc. I book Malindo for a reason and paid for what expected using Malindo!! If they had to change the plane they should've given better one or given back compensation to passengers! Now this flight, they didn't activate the entertainment till way later and turned off way too early. They didn't give any earphone as supposed to. Malindo's service has become bad.
Cons: Making the flight. Air China and the Beijing Airport made it very difficult for everyone on a variety of flights to get to their destinations.

Pros: The crew was indeed amazing. Food was ok. We had a tight connection and on request there was a Air China employee at the gate who speed processed us through the rather complex Beijing airport and made sure that we reached our connecting flight well in time. The plane was a newish 777-300ER.

Pros: The Malaysia Airlines crew hospitality is world wide known and I experienced it myself during this flight
Cons: I sit in 2K of A350-900. Though it is known as a throne seat, there is an error on the installation of this seat. The foot rest that comes up and supposedly joined with the ottoman to make up the flat bed is too long so this seat never can actually go to full 180 degree mode.

No one from Malaysia Airlines showed off to explain the situation. Me and my wife dont have any clothes to change. Very bad

Pros: Pleasantly surprised. Seats were comfortable. Blankets were warm. Food was good, and I'm grateful for that because I couldn't understand the flight attendant because of her accent.
Cons: The crew was weirdly OCD about when we were allowed to have our window shades up or down and I got yelled at a couple times for improper window shade use. I was also woken up literally every 2 hours to ask if I wanted food or beverage which I appreciated the diligence but also I like sleep.

Cons: The check in counter could open earlier. The line up was long. Our flight leaves at 0210 to Nanjing while the flights to Beijing leaves at 2:30 yet the check in counter open earlier than ours.

Cons: Transfer in Nanjing to Bangkok. Delayed was not good but worse was that we arrived so early we couldn't check in for an hour and couldn't go to business class lounge. Also no transfer hallway. Had to clear immigration just to get on next flight.

The legroom is spacious, the seat was comfortable and the cabin crew was awesome. Flight was on time, check in was acceptable (considering people travelling from Bandung has a lot of check in baggage due to shopping).

Pros: Flight boarded a few minutes early and arrived in Honolulu 40 minutes ahead of schedule. I upgraded to the "quiet zone" area which was perfect, very minimal disturbance from the flight crew.
Cons: The food was pretty bad. Especially when paying $15 for a meal. The portions were small and the rice was kind of dry. Maybe add a dessert to the meal might be worth the $15 price tag.
Pros: Cost can't be beat, friendly service, reminded me of flights back in the 80's - 90's with no frills. A solid air service that most would find not up to par to their own personal standards. Travelers have been accustomed to getting things as standard over the decades of flying services offered in the past, so not getting them with this airline for free can be frustrating. However, for travelers that are very flexible and don't require much comforts, this airline provides exactly what you need..a cheap flight to your destination.
Cons: The scheduled times for departure aren't very flexible, the check-in counter on return flight was extremely long even 3 hours in advance of flight departure, plan accordingly. Passengers can be grumpy because they expect more from the airline, not an airline for most who expect comfort and freebies.
