Pros: The Food was great! Asiana Airlines Economy Seats have more leg room than most airlines. Service was Excellent.
Cons: We had just purchased coffee and the boarding agent told us that their policy was that we were not permitted to take hot coffee onto the aircraft. My guess is it had to do with safety. I've never been told this on any of the hundreds of flight i've been on traveling the world. It must be a South Korea thing.
Pros: The new aircraft A380 was so comfortable.
Cons: Looks like the crew weren’t pleased with their job. Poor selection for the Hollywood movies. With such a nice aircraft would expected much better service.
Pros: The business class seat pods were superb. Food was good and crew was very helpful, especially in Seoul -- they automatically rebooked me on another Asiana flight to Bangkok when I missed my connection, and they loaned me a cell phone to call the people who were going to meet me there.
Cons: The 2 1/2 hour departure delay (due to a mechanical issue) resulted in my missing my connecting flight to Bangkok. Entertainment choices (movie selection) could use improvement.
Pros: Having a full meal on a short (2 hour) flight was a nice surprise.
Cons: When we landed in Tokyo, didn't have a gate and had to ride a bus back to the terminal. I haven't had to deplane outside since the 70's.
