Never going to fly your airline again if it can be avoided.

Snow delayed boarding several times, which I understand happens. Issue I had was that after we did board, pilot told us we were going to roll out to be de-iced, then on our way. We were de-iced once, taxied to the tarmac and then stopped. Sat for another 30 minutes or so, the another de-icing. Then we rolled out to a parking spot, only to sit for another hour due to a traffic stop in DCA, which I'm confident they knew would happen before we boarded. Pilot gave no updates other than we had to hold, attendants did speak to the crew, but when asked, said the pilot would be updating us. We on the ground in the plane waiting for over 2 hours. They did communicate that bathrooms would be open, but no other news until we left. Would have been better to be up front about status.

The flight attendants as well as the gate agent were out to lunch. Nothing extraordinary about their service. American just keeps getting worse every year.

Enough space, crew was helpful, food was good. The gates are way far especially for travelers with health issues

Concern Regarding Significant Gate Delay and Jet Bridge Issue Dear Customer Relations Team, I am writing to express my disappointment with the experience I had on my recent flight AA 2414 on Sunday January 18, 2026. What should have been a routine departure turned into a frustrating and avoidable delay due to an issue with the jet bridge at the gate. As a result, the flight was delayed by approximately 90 minutes while multiple gate changes were attempted. The lack of clear communication during this period made the situation even more challenging. Passengers were left uncertain about the cause of the delay, the expected timeline, and the next steps. This not only disrupted travel plans but also created unnecessary stress for everyone on board. I understand that operational issues can arise, but a malfunctioning jet bridge and the resulting extended delay suggest an area where procedures or equipment maintenance may need attention. I hope you will review this incident to prevent similar disruptions in the future. I would appreciate acknowledgment of this concern and consideration of appropriate compensation for the inconvenience and lost time caused by this delay. Thank you for taking the time to review my experience. I look forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Dion Dillard

I enjoyed the extra leg room compared to other airlines. The first stewards made my daughter’s birthday special by giving her an extra snack. Then the last one coming home from Chicago to Appleton made our night really enjoyable Thanks for making our trip enjoyable

Terrible. Our luggage was delayed and couldn’t be delivered for several days. We got bad information from the airline agents at baggage claim. We had to pick up our car so we wouldn’t be charged for an extra day. We got lost in the maze of airport parking. The baggage claim agents didn’t offer us any compensation for our extra time and expense. We are tired, hungry and very frustrated.

The only thing to like was that we eventually got to our destination

Comfortable plane ride however on delays disappointment no real details as to why the delays when other flights are leaving the airport

Had to cancel the flight because there was a 14 hour layover before the flight. Unacceptable.

Smooth on-time flight but NO AC in the middle of the cabin. Business Class and the rear of the cabin were too cold but mid-cabin was stuffy and hot with virtually no air coming out of the ducts. Made for a very long and uncomfortable flight.

The flight was delayed an hour, but not because of Air Canada. The crew was polite, professional, and competent. The food was above average for Air Canada, but just fine. The stand out for me in the 10 hour flight was the entertainment package. The best of any airline I’ve experienced so far. Looking forward to my return flight to finish some more of the shows I was watching.

They had the small delay so they thought I wouldn't make my connection and they canceled my whole flight from the connection onwards even though I made it to the connection I was there on the boarding but I couldn't board to my next flight because the airline company canceled my flight before I even got to the second airport They didn't help in arranging a new flight they told me I could put a claim somewhere at some point which made my frustration even worse no hotel was allocated no notification of any kind and all I heard was the sentence we are not responsible we didn't cancel it someone else is responsible go look for it

Air Canada flight staff are in contact negotiations and they are less than happy and it show. The process of self checking baggage is less than desirable with lack of support staff to help

Flight was not affected by the Air Canada strike. Complimentary beer and wine offered on flight.

It was good to receive a card for my birthday

The flight attendants were not very nice. No smiles On my return trip I was charged for one bag $83.30 although I had purchased the flight including one piece of luggage. Can this be refunded to me? Thank you!

Seating wasn’t too cramped; I don’t understand how luggage bins get full if there are enough for each person. Shouldn’t there be room for the designated carry-on and personal item for each passenger at their seat? THEN, IF for some reason extra room is available for someone who prefers it, then shifts can occur. I’m simply saying it seems that I should have primary access to the storage bin at my seat and underneath in front of me. It was suggested that I go to the back of the plane to store my carry-on when I paid to have access to the first seat after 1st class. The additional stress and inconvenience could be avoided and I think all passengers and flight crew are interested in guidelines that are fair, clear, and reduce tension.

In flight entertainment system did not work across the whole plane for entire flight. Seats were very cramped. Cabin temperature was freezing cold. Crew was miserable and answered everyone in a short and barking manner. I’ve flown air Canada many many times and never had an issue. But this was unpleasant.
