Plus the flatbed lay out meant you were basically lying in a question mark position, not so goof for tall people like my husband. The food was good but uninteresting and I think for an overnight flight there should be more smaller,lighter, non spicy options offered rather that full dinners."

Cons: "I Booked a flight that stated that it only had one stop in singapore, then direct to SFO after arriving in singapore i was told that i had to go to a transfer counter, that there was a problem with my ticket. after arriving at the transfer counter they took my boarding pass for my dircet flight to SFO, & told me that i now had a stop in hong kong, that the direct flight to SFO was over booked!! this is not right i wouldn't of booked this flight if they had been truthfull about the extra stop. i will never use singapore airline or kayak again!!!"

Overall a great experience, but would have liked it to be a 12hr experience instead of 5."

I especially liked all the adapter plug outlets to power my equipment. I just can’t say enough good things about the cabin crew. The Stewardess were very attractive in their uniforms and make-up, not like the old maids United and American has. The cabin crew were extremely helpful and nice. The service was impeccable. The meals were actually pretty good. Course all the alcoholic drinks available was nice. A person could get wiped out pretty easy if not drink responsibly. But not a good idea to drink much cause of the aftereffects after the flight."

The meal options are better out of Singapore than coming in to Singapore, The "order ahead" breakfast concept, where you place your order for breakfast when you board has it pros and cons. The personal service is nice, but one needs to know almost 12 hours ahead of time what they feel like eating. Overall a positive, but for me, it's hard for me to anticipate my appetite. It was my first A380 flight (together with the Sydney - Singapore leg), and overall I was disappointed relative to the Dreamliner. Yet it stands out as a positive the way that Qantas has configured business class on the upper deck. It's quite peaceful."

The flight got to London with a delay of 2 hours 20 min, because they made us wait 2 hours 20 min more than planned in Dubai, where incidentally all the other Emirates flights had no delay, only our Qantas one. This made me lose my next flight (to Luxembourg) and have to pay for a new flight and stay that night in London. Since I had booked them separately, no one helped or offered any compensation."

I wasn't able to check in online which was quite annoying. The crew from Melb-Dubai were fantastic. So friendly and talkative and I think one was called Jordan."

Cons: "JFK to Singapore through Abu Dhabi. The checking in process at JFK was a mess, it was a full flight. There were many people, trying checking in. Two lines, (1) checking in. (2) checked in, dropping off bags. Some of us who had checked in online was trying to drop off bags only. After waiting 1.5 hours, this line isn't moving at all, while the checking in line was moving. Tried telling the gentlemen in charge who worked there that the checked in line dropping off bagguage was not moving, he didn't really care, they made all kinds of excuses saying other people were waiting, so they were completely clueless as to what was going on. I have never experienced this ever and I fly massively each year. First and last time in Etihad. JFK to Abu Dhabi is a good 13 hour flight. NO SNACKS. SG/BA, or any other airline really has nice sandwishes, ramen, chocolate, cookies, chips. Etihad has NOTHING. Not that I snack but still with a 13 to 14 hour flight, airlines should have something to eat during long flights. Really. Etihad who brands and advertises brilliantly, was extremely disppointing to actually be on the flight."

We got stuck with $350 in baggage fees, because a clause stating that we were not allowed a check-in bag was buried in the fine print for our ticket purchase. The website was not working prior to our return flight, and if it had worked, we would have been able to get at least a discount on this outrageous fee. But , despite this, (we took a screenshot) the counter staff in Abu Dhabi would not give us the discount. A baggage fee for $350 dollars for one bag? There is word for this. Thievery."

Cons: "First of all, I tried to purchase the on-plane WiFi. That didn't happen, as I was told there was an error in purchasing and I didn't end up getting any connection. Yet when I got off the plane, I realized that I was nevertheless charged for $12. This was definitely annoying, and they still haven't gotten back to me. Secondly, which is very frustrating and infuriating, was the fact that not only was my checked luggage delayed, they did not call me or reply to my emails with any useful information on my luggage's situation. To this date, I have no idea where it is, if it's lost or damaged, or when can they deliver it to me. I had all my clothes, my DSLR camera and gifts in my luggage, and I had to buy a bunch of stuff in the next few days because I didn't have those things. It has been more than a week, and they still haven't gotten back to me on anything. For this reason alone, I think they totally deserve a poor overall rating, especially because I chose them in the first place because I trusted their good ratings."

Cons: "DO NOT under any circumstances miss an Etihad Airway flight. They'll make you pay twice the original price of your flight AND a $600 fee for missing your flight. WTF! Why must you pay $600 for missing a flight you ALREADY PAID for. I loved my first experience with Etihad but second time was not as pleasant."

Pros: "short trip, crew was efficient, food was warm"

Pros: "Air staff was good. Automatic window dimmers. Electronics."
Cons: "Food was sub par. Layovers were long. Abu Dhabi terminal was not good, bathrooms there were few, far and dirty."

Cons: "The Food is bad."

Cons: "Food was horrible. First of all, we didn't get what we had requested. On top of it, whatever they had provided was substandard. Especially whatever they had given as sandwich."

Pros: "What is there not to like? Service, comfort, on-time performance, food, entertainment"

Cons: "Lost one of my bags! Returned after over a full day... was not even updated on location / that it had been found until the following morning... 24 hours later. Boarding was delayed... but by all means take longer if it means I get my bag when I land!!!"

Pros: "The service and comfort!"

Pros: "It was such a relief to leave India. Abu Dhabi was a clean and modern airport and it was clear that Etihad had a major role in this. The gate was busy, but everything was smooth and accommodating. Boarded my flight and slept in the clouds for an easy 9 hr flight."
Cons: "I am unable to eat meat or bread(gluten). There was a meatless option, but it was all bread. It would be nice to have some mixed nuts and an extra piece of fruit. Dates would've been great!"

Cons: "They have restrictions more than any other flight about the size of the hand luggage- My parents were allowed to bring one hand luggage without any problems, but they were not allowed to take it back because it was "Big!" it did not put on weight or get fat! its a hand luggage that stays the same size! They blame it on the TSA and say it has to fit in and asked us to pay 325 $ to take the same bag that they brought things in."

Pros: "Service in the Economy class was a nightmare. The air hostesses do not respond fast, take hours to get a glass of water and sometimes even don't bother to get you what you have asked for."

Pros: "Very short flight, but crew was wonderful."

Cons: "The boarding took forever. The lady issuing the boarding pass was new and took more than 40 mins to allocate us an upgraded exit row seat. I always felt the Abu Dhabi to NY flight has better service than Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi."

Pros: "The food. The charging spots and latest movies."

Cons: "Every thing great"

Pros: "Not much to specify...."
Cons: "Entertainment is not available until 10 mins after take off and it gets cut off 10 mins before landing...."

Cons: "Crew"

Pros: "It was Kenya airways flight that was to depart at 625pm but due to overbooking it my dad's flight left at 930pm"
