Seat room is very limited with econo. No need to pack snack…food provided.

Keep an eye on your boarding gate and download the app. Boarding gates will change at the spur of the moment and the app makes things a lot easier and there is nice information on it.

Book your tickets Directly on EU carriers. You will have more legal rights and mandatory compensation depending on delays or cancellations.

Check if the plane you are flying out on has had the inbound prior flight delayed. Because: My flight AC157 shoed as “On Time” departure on the Air Canada and FlightAware web sites…. Yet FlightAware showed my incomming-prior plane as almost 4-hours late. I called air canada and they couldn’t do anything other than admit that seemed strange. Three hours later I got a message that my flight was in fact delayed because of the prior late departure . I had gone to thye airport early because I knew there would be a problem and got one of the pnly 4 remaining seats on the earlier flight
HubertFlew with Air CanadaYYZ-BDAMay 2025
The current plane is rather small. If you can get a seat reserved early, do so. You may be put on standby for a seat just until departure and if you travel with someone that can also mean that you won’t be sitting together and would have to ask someone to change with you.
Verified travelerFlew with Porter AirlinesYYZ-YVRMar 2025
Make sure you download the app and bring an iPad. You may want to bring a hook for your iPad as well.
Su HyunFlew with Air CanadaYYZ-YQMMar 2025
Toronto airport terminal 1 is quite boring without many places to shop. If possible get there as late as you possibly can unless you plan to just watch your phone for 1.5 - 2 hours. Also mind that even if you were assigned a specific seat at the time of check-in, it is not guaranteed that you will sit there if there happens to be an obese passenger nearby you because you will likely have to give up your aisle seat for them.
Verified travelerFlew with Air IndiaYYZ-DELDec 2024
Please don’t check your bags. If you do, please put air tags in them to know where they are. The air tags saved me when my bags didn’t show up in Delhi. I was able to track where they were all the time.
Verified travelerFlew with Air CanadaYYZ-IADDec 2024
Get on a regional sized (smaller than Boeing 737 or Airbus A320) jet if you can, they are older and have more legroom than newer aircraft.

I wish we had know about the security check and customs. It was a long distance between gates. It all worked out fine though. I forgot to add that the overhead compartments were built poorly. At least for someone my height and head size.

Be prepared for a labyrinthine experience traversing the various levels and passages of the Toronto airport. Bring quality walking shoes, as it is likely well over a km in total walking time.
JoanFlew with Porter AirlinesYYZ-SFONov 2024
Maybe get the choice above the cheapest option because you don't get a checked bag or carry on so in the end you end up paying about the same, if not more.

Plane was packed so as Seniors we took advantage of early assisted boarding. Not sure how others that were young and healthy got on earlier than us in Zone 5. Toronto security was disorganized -no bins and told to wait after 15 minutes and li e backup we got bins from the security line beside us. They lost one of my husbands shoes, and did not make an effort to find it or help us….another 15 minutes. Thankfully we were early.
RonaldFlew with Air CanadaYYZ-YVRSept 2024
Bring your own entertainment device. The system installed in the Airbus A321-200 we were flying is old, slow and ergonomically poor.

the lounge is nice. Although the crew at check in will say there are no showers, there are! Check the board for delays
NickFlew with Flair AirlinesYYZ-YYTAug 2024
It is harder and harder to find low cost carriers in the Canadian market. Air Canada and West Jet offer the highest quality, but the lowest overall value due to prove gouging. If you can sacrifice some of the benefits of in-flight meals and easy check-in availability, then airlines such as Flair can be a worthy option. Let's hope we see increased competition in Canada to moderate prices to better serve air travellers.

Be at the airport early as they will take you to a far away terminal to the gate where there are no shops except one

Airline running better than post Covid, proper boarding process now implemented, some aircraft feeling a bit old and tired, crew fine, online experience better.

Five hour flight instead of four hours due to westerly headwinds which wasn’t the fault of Qantas !

The Emerits/Qantas flight was cancelled to Wellington. We need a refund. Had to buy another airline ticket. How do we get the refund. Still not in Wellington.

Delayed QF59 flight once again, Qantas doesn't fail in maintaining there delayed departures and arrivals. USB points do not work nor do the power point sockets on the plane, Qantas staff admitted that on the flight. Don't expect to your charge devices. Saving grace, was the ice cream. Bottom line, if you expect to fly to HND and make it on time avoid Qantas and if you're interested in ice cream - visit 7/11.

Loved the staff. The economy seats could have been bigger.

Their aircraft are old and amenities lack way behind other international carriers leaving from BNE. Even in economy

Airport and crew experience was excellent. We had to queue for the runway - no one’s fault, but it did mean we were 30 minutes late leaving

Overall good experience with flight and airport wheelchair staff. Also got Indian food in the flights

I liked the service, the menu, and the comfort of the seats! Even tho we were seated by the bathrooms, the reclining seats and movie selection was very good, my husband and I didn’t mind at all

It was all good flight was on time, service was good I enjoyed a few movies and everything was smooth

Efficient, calm when things were delayed and kept us regularly informed of what was happening.

Airbus plane, nice and polite staff, entertainment even as it was a short flight.

Very nice and clean plane. Transit time between flights was tight though

Our flights got changed from United to Air Canada and our purchased seats did not get transferred so we had to pay for seats twice. I brought it up with Air Canada and they stated I had to go back and chase it with United. The united seats were $21 Canadian each and Air Canada were $56 each so we have paid $77 for each seat. Very unhappy

So far so good but food and entertainment are not available for this flight

Plane temperature was comfortable (not to hot) when boarding and waiting for takeoff.

Michael, our FA was very attentive, even finding me a chocolate brownie from economy class when the dessert selections were all dairy based. ( intolerant, not allergic so don’t usually need to order dairy free)

We tried to upgrade to economy premium but were told this was not possible as we had booked through United Airlines (and Air Canada was operating the flight). This seemed silly given there was ample space in economy premium. Additionally, we had to wait almost 1.5 hours upon arrival to taxi to the gate. Otherwise, the crew were very pleasant and passengers were friendly.

It was my first time with United Airlines and I would say it was very good experience and best of all the flights were on time. Will definitely fly with United Airlines next time.

Flying in the Dreamliner is always comfortable. Though the food options for Air Canada aren't great.

Flight got delayed for no reason. And Air Canada was doing 3 boardings via the same gate. It was chaotic!

I n the Toronto airport I had trouble finding my zone. It was 47. I went from Zone 1 to the end of the line.didn't find it. Then saw my zone somewhat by accident over by where you first come in. Signs could be more helpful or more personnel directing people like me.

Wonderful airline. All staff were pleasant and helpful. What is sad is that it wasn’t grand gestures just everyday pleasantness and friendliness that are missing from the other airlines I have flown recently.

Friendly efficient crew, but plane had no way to charge phone. That is a near necessity with today’s travel where we carry out travel documents on our phones.

Orderly boarding. The flight to Montreal was difficult to get to on time, but had help from staffer.

Orlando to Canada, despite being close and an international flight, the plane was not at all comfortable. It felt like the chair was being pushed forward, in addition to not having a TV and having to choose from a tiny glass of drink, for example, water or soda. I couldn't have both. When I asked the flight attendant for an extra glass of water, she looked at me with an ugly face. This is ridiculous. They don't want to give water to passengers. I will never fly with this airline again in my life.

The checking of my carry-on was not the greatest idea. It was selected for a security check in Toronto and didn't make it to my connecting flight. Fortunately Air Canada delivers late luggage to Whistler so I got it at 2 A M.

The seating and lack of leg room. I paid extra for more leg room. The space for under seat storage was a joke.

Well managed flight comfortable. Wish they had back of seat screens

Very bead I am going to Vancouver to toronto. Not boarding receive. Before flight ✈️ time I have to take boarding. Boarding manager asking me pay $89 . Just flight ✈️ time before I pay .after provided the Boarding pass. Flair Airlines management not good. But kayak is best application.

Not good Even after I made my booking, I was charged $90 for my boarding pass. I have collected boarding pass i pay $90 near . Flair airline not good. Without pay no boarding pass.

The flight was smooth, but the seats are not comfortable. I was not able to sleep. The sizes for the personal item and carry-on are way smaller than other airlines.

Leg room was terrible and seats very narrow. Flight was also delayed.

The worst airline experience that I ever had in my life. The fare was cheap but boy do you pay for it when it comes to baggages, carry-ons, food on board and lack of available staff at check-in. Almost every other passenger on my flight had the same complaints and experience. We all bonded discussing our displeasure. My husband and I will definitely not be traveling with Flair Airlines. We'll take anyone else.

The most uncomfortable plane I ever fly on. The seats won't even recline a little. For a 5 hrs flight at night and tired it felt like torture

Seats in 1 res are dispersed all over the plane, even child was across

Personally, I will not use this fight again. The service is poor, you have to buy even water. They don't provide anything even sneak, you have to buy. They said Personally items for 7 kg. Then they use some measurements, if you have 7kg and if it's not getting inside of their measurements, you have to pay 80$ this is robbery. I will prefer other flight then this. I am désappointement taking this airplane.

It’s a shameful company. It ask as to go to counter to take the boarding pass, they simply send it by email, just to check the bags’ size in a smaller than normal template. DONT USE FLAIR! It will be more expensive than normal airlines at the end.

flight was okay, no wifi, no free drinks but worst of all they lost my son's bike for four days. Customer service was nonexistent - call a number that leaves you on perpetual hold, there's no baggage folks in the baggage claims area (in vancouver). we went up to international and nobody was at ticketing, went to domestic and they had us fill out a form. they could not tell us where the bag was. Anyway, highly recommend you drop an airtag for anything that's worth more than $500. My son's bike costs a lot more than that to replace; I was on pins and needles for four days.

Miss my flight from delhi to amritsar due to lock the luggage door of airplane.and there was no more flight even for next days and they not refund the fare. I took bus grom delhi.. bad experiance.

Boarding was through bus even though aerobridges were empty. Major mess

Extremely bad experience compared to Vistara. No priority in check in, no priority for boarding. No upgrade. Seat selection is paid. Curtains were dirty. Demo bag was dirty. Warmth of the crew was missing.

This was a bery good experience as it was a newer plane . AI older plane bussiness class is bad .

The plane interior was incredibly outdated. Nothing worked. My tray table was taped together (yes, TAPED!). None of the TV monitors worked. There were no buttons to turn on the overhead lights or call for a flight attendant. There was no indication of where we were or how long it would be till we got to our destination. This was a 15 hour flight btw. I was seated near the bathrooms and after a few hours on the flight, it smelled strongly of urine. It was sickening. There was only a USB charging outlet and you had to use your phone to watch movies through their WiFi. Somehow the outdated charger made it take so long to charge my devices. I paid for my seats and they definitely did a bait and switch on me. The seats I paid for were NOT the seats that I got. I will NEVER use this airline again and I highly recommend that others don't.

The trip with Air India was better than expected starting with the check-in and the Lounge. The flight was comfortable for a 1 hour flight.

Business class recliners and entertainment system was not working, it essentially became economy travel at the cost of business

Our seat monitor did not Not work either way going to Vietnam. I had a bulkhead seat with plenty of room, but with No monitor, it was a long flight with no movies. Fun was good, staff was Excellent.

Ok, where do I start, hmm! Good things first - the meals/food was tasty, the seats are comfortable and legroom in Economy was ample and foot rest with message roller is simply amazing, Wi-Fi Entertainment works well. Bad things - in-flight entertainment screens and remotes either had physical damage and or simply not working. This was the case for more than 1/2 the flight. Flight that was long haul - 12+hrs non-stop. If you want a cracker or a biscuit with your tea - forget it, they carry none. Feel like having a chilled beer - forget it as they will serve you room temperature always and every time. The crew seem young and inexperienced. Will I fly again, yes I would only because it gets me from Sydney to Delhi in 12.5 odd hours (fastest), otherwise I will never. It has been what a year or so since TATA took over but I have not seen any change, I really hope this changes.

Entertainment screens were either broken nor did not work. Also seat back did not work. Definitely not comfortable journey
