Cons: The room was small and was located on the 1st floor - bad view.

Cons: The annoying flashing light on the telephone in the room and the person I called unable to figure out how to get it to turn off. Also, it seemed only one elevator was working and I spent nearly ten minutes waiting for it on my final way out

Cons: The construction noise was very disruptive and precluded us from getting a good nights rest. The room was poorly designed with large furniture and made it difficult to move around the room comfortably.

Cons: The breakfast wasn't particularly tasty (a bit cheap) and coffee was watery.

Cons: I received the worst treatment possible from the managerial staff. Firstly, even though they had my reservation, which was made and confirmed a month and a half in advance, they decided that they didn't have any room available for me to stay in when I arrived to check in. I found this to be very unprofessional since they could have called me or emailed me prior to my arrival at the hotel to give me a forewarning so that I could plan ahead as well. The situation was worsened by the staff then relaying this information to me in a very condescending manner in which they had the very unapologetic tone of "take it or leave it". Secondly, they decided that a fair way to "compensate" me would be by reserving a room in another hotel on my behalf, without any input from me regarding choice, and then giving me a ride to this new hotel. I specifically chose the W for my stay and did not choose the other hotel when making my initial plans. So, the manager felt he could take the payment for the room at the W, decide that they no longer have a room at the W, then deny me the choice of an alternative hotel, and all without the option of a refund. They said they were compensating me, but I feel that they cheated me greatly. It was terrible customer service. Eventually, I had no choice but to take their offer of staying at the other property, which I didn't want to stay in, since they were not going to make any room available for me at the W for the night. Truthfully, I feel there were a bunch of racial undertones and biases based on the unprofessional, condescending, unempathetic, and unapologetic tone of the manager and staff. I have stayed at many hotels around the world. This has been, by far, my worst experience with any hotel staff regarding a reservation.

Cons: Staff was not helpful, loads of stairs, no kitchen, common room had no light, irs like a basement

Cons: No kitchen. Stayed for two weeks and has to either eat out or at the hostels restaurant. Not ideal when staying long period of time. Shower rooms where tiny, not much room to move. Building site outside my window, load early in the morning and late at night

Cons: Well the worst part of the place was probably the size of the room and the bed. I knew my room would be tiny but for the price I paid it was crazy. The room could barely fit your luggage and yourself. A constant maneuvering around everything. The bed was the worst bed I have ever slept in. Want to know what it is like to sleep on a rock or the ground? Well come to this hotel to find out. This bed was so stiff I would wake up every morning in some sort of back pain. It was ridiculous that this is possible in a modern hotel. It's a budget hotel but seriously just get a slightly softer bed as this was ludicrous.

Cons: The rooms are ridiculously small, and the staff doesn’t understand what the “do not disturb sign” means. I get that they are trying to be helpful, but I am a big kid and have the ability to alert the desk if I need something. It happened more than once, and one of the staff actually started to enter the room while I was on the toilet. Maybe it is a cultural thing, but it was off-putting.

Cons: The room smelled a bit because of the room not having a working fan after our showers, so there was a lot of condensation in the air left over.

Cons: While I knew I had booked the smallest room, and was happy with it overall, the in ability to open a window for fresh air was a little frustrating. Issues with the a/c were promptly addressed, although an open window would of been a better solution. It was only because my stay was for 5 nights that this bothered me. Next visit I'll book a larger room with an open window. :-)

Cons: The cool location also meant that it was occasionally hard to sleep it night with the noise from the busy street

Cons: Paint on ceiling falling off, hole in the wall and plug didn’t work. Wouldn’t say this was a 5 star hotel.

Cons: Overall the hotel is in shabby condition, mis-matched and tacky furniture, thread bare carpeting and dim lighting. The mattress was lumpy, we had no internet service though it was supposed to be provided free. The air conditioning did not work well and the toilet leaked. When we went to take a shower in the morning there was no hot water, we called multiple times and heard a different story each time regarding the water. There was never any hot water and we were told the boiler was broken. The staff was odd, almost seemed like a mafia running the property, very strange to explain. Not friendly or helpful at all, didn't seem to care about any of the issues or challenges we had there. When checking out the clerk just looked at me and handed me a business card for a discount on my next stay! When it was time to catch a cab to the airport, the concierge tried to force us to use a cab service recommended by them. 30 minutes later we were still waiting for a cab, though dozens of empty ones passed by the street in front of us. We finally hailed our own! The roof top lounge is like a ghetto night club, pounding music and lots of drunk teens staggering through there as well as the lobby. The gym has 4 pieces of equipment, all kind of old and not looking to safe to use, quite a joke! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone, unless you are looking for a drunk-fest in London in a sleazy hotel. This was definitely not a value, our basic needs were not met.

Cons: It's not 5-star hotel, maybe three. My room didn't look anything like on photos, but was quite old fashioned with dirty carpet, broken cupboards and water stains on bathroom ceiling.
