Very nice comfortable seats in business and wonderful FA. This was a short connection so i was nervous what to do as ive never been to guangzhou before...but they met me at the departure stairs, another person guided me thru all the steps to security and it was great! No line at security so i was thru fast...very impressive airport and china southern
No vip bus for businessclass, we waited a long time, poor organization. Flight delaye of 30 minutes. Then nine of my luggage arrived in manila!! Very bad! The baggage agent couldnt tell even where the bags were at...very poor organization. Finally got the bags de,ivered the next day but no compensation...im unimoressed with this asoect of china southern..poorly done

Business class seats
For some reason both ways I couldn't buy a seat and couldn't check in online. The way to Thailand I ended up with a middle seat because of that. And on the way back. After trying online and tried calling China southern. I finally got someone that speaks Thai to do it for me and reserve a window seat. I tried calling and pressing 3 for English and no one ever picked up. Very disappointed
Pros: Very pleasant and helpful crew flying back.
Cons: Small seats, food was scarce and mediocre (considerably better on our flight away versus coming back). On flight to China, crew were quite curt. The in-flight entertainment was low-quality--both my and my partner's tvs were broken for our return flight.

I thought the service on this flight was much better this time around; at least from where I was sitting. The attendants seemed to come around more often and there was a much better food selection for everyone involved. Overall, I found the flight to be safe, mostly comfortable, and the food was excellent.
I had a family sitting next to me (I was in the aisle) and I felt that while the attendants were courteous and prompt in accommodating me, they all but ignored the people in the middle seats. I had to keep asking them on the attendant's behalf if they needed anything before they rushed on by. At one point the father told me that he was getting better service from me than the attendants. Also, one of the TV screens didn't work in one of the middle seats so the family had to do a switcharoo with their little one after they got settled so their son could have the working screen. I personally found that it was very difficult to recline my seat - I really had to quite literally put my back into it to get it to click into the reclining position.

Very standard flight overall, but was mostly impressed with how hard they worked to get me a veggie meal when it was not in the system. The staff was super accomodating and very friendly. I had read a lot of things about them losing bags, so I was nervous. Mine came through very quickly from Hong Kong to Tokyo, and I had a stop in between.
Flight was delayed and it was not mentioned until past boarding time.

Wifi is too expensive to be that slow. Please do better with your wifi. Not beneficial to business travelers at all.

Very limited food served at inappropriate times with no flexibility. No information provided on what meals would be served at what times. Very limited entertainment. Very long uncomfortable flight compounded by crew hawking duty free goods like vendors at a fish market, waking many of those who had been fortunate enough to fall asleep.

Short Leg, Crew Happy, pilot very informative, food was good, until the next flight (long haul) I got the same food. 2 seats together at the very back row. Checkin and boarding were fine
The toilet flushed when I was still on the toilet seat. Happened again on the long haul sector. The take a very long time to switch on the entertainment and turn it off as soon as decent commences- so if you have air traffic problems - it could be off for an hr before and after takeoff and landing. unnecessary as most people have their own headsets as well. The cabin crew were fantastic. Food was abundant. Most boarding systems worked well. Choosing seats was confusing on website so we were allocated seating. The newer planes had a fantastic touch screen entertainment system. The seats on the newer planes were much more comfortable and roomy
The small seats are squishy on the older planes. The entertainment system on the older planes were dated and difficult to use. I felt sick after the flight to UK but felt fine coming home after one long flight on a newer plane.

Crew members are a bit bland and lack customer service, but I noticed that as a whole in Australia (slow service/not really interactive or communicative & very quick to make comments and leave) not sure if they just hate Americans based on the media or what. One crew member cut in line at the restroom when there was 3 of us waiting to go. Another told me my husband couldn’t receive his meal because he was napping and then he quickly walked away— Yet i received mine on the flight coming to Australia when my husband asked for me? Sanitation between flights should be more strict-my headphones were opened which lead me to believe my pillow wasn’t changed either, since one had a case and one didn’t.

The food was amazing, the in-flight entertainment was amazing, and the flight attendants were amazingly kind and beautiful. :) Swiss Air has set the standard on airline food, serving Swiss Chocolate and Gruyere cheese on the flight! It was the best!
My only concern was that there were times when I felt a little too warm. The newer Boeing 777 doesn't have passenger controlled A/C.

Tray table slid downward whenever it was opened. Headphones quit after the first hour and got scratchy. So little room..tiny video screen. I could not get advance seating because of a code share flight.

Staff was wonderful. Food and cleanliness was good. Pilots communication was accurate and helpful.
We were travelling with an infant. Although we had requested for crib/bassinet we didn’t get one. To add to the anxiety, we noticed that none of the bassinet seats were allocated to parents with infants. There were at least 3 families with infants and lots of children due to school holidays. But we all had to make do with our cramped seats. Maybe Qantas can plan this better. It isn’t so difficult as they usually know how many infants are travelling, in advance.
Did not know that we had to download entertainment app So consequently no inflight entertainment Pack in like sardines

It was raining and I don't like to fly in the rain especially landing.
I loved everything about it , i enjoyed the comfort, food , entertainment , the crew were very friendly and very helpful , i was pampered all through the trip thank you .
2 1/2 delay with no information to travelers. We were told Gate A then at the last minute (after a couple of hours) it was switched to Gate C. We had to take a transport to new gate and were afraid we would miss flight as the original flight time was still posted. There was no updated flight info anywhere. Very stressful after what was already a long wait.

I was travelling as a connection following a long haul flight from Australia and was desperate for a cuppa but had no money or English bank card and didn’t want to incur huge fees to use my Oz card so was disappointed there was no complimentary drinks.

Whilst the main meal was ok, as far as breakfast on the LHR to KUL sector was concerned, by the time I was served my preference was no longer available. The crew member who served me made no attempt to see if another colleague had my preference available.
At least, they let me know the first delay but no further information was given to the 2nd delay. Also, neither the ground not on board staff seemed to be interested in Passagiers. Was a short flight interrupted by diverse visual ads and PRs..

The pre boarding security was a mess and poorly managed in Kuala Lumpur.
Flights to Manila and Denpasar were fine.
During the long 15hour layover to Bali, lunch and dinner vouchers were provided as long as you stay in the terminal. However, if you decide to leave the terminal, you had to relinquish the vouchers. No access was given to use the Mabuhay lounge and there’s not much options for rest or entertainment at Terminal 2.
Broken entertainment acreens. Mine was broken on the way over and on the way back I had a another broken one , they moved me and that one was broken too.
The flight was terrible. The boarding process was improperly conducted causing a lack of overhead space in the baggage storage overhead. The entertainment system was broken and the flight transfer process was terrible and confusing. I had the worst trip in over 300 life time trips. I felt like the price was way too high for the service I received! I need a partial refund at a minimun. This flight was terrible for my 3 children and I.

The seats seemed to have more space on this plane which was nice.

Comfort was better than on the previous Dash-8. Food was OK.
Despised the cold temperature and cold draft in world business even with all vents shut off...gave me a head cold. Boarding was disorganized. There was no sense of direction; ergo, everyone was jumping in.
Seats were comfortable and there was enough room for hand baggage. I slept during the flight so do not have opinion on entertainment.
Not able to charge my digital devices. When serving beverages and food, the same flight attendant missed me a few times. That was annoying but other attendants were very nice.

Lufthansa has always had great food quality but with this flight it was dissapointig.
There was a group of ~20 French teenagers that did a lot of noise, like it was their own private field trip.

Wow, I am not a heavy woman, I wear a size large but I am not in the least obese, just tall and not skinny. The seat width was ridiculously tight! I have NEVER experienced such discomfort in a Emergency Row seat!
The crew & service on our Denver to Munich flight were incredible. Courteous, professional & fun. A crew like this makes flying a pleasure.
The seats in economy on the A-350 were a horror show. Couldn't have made them more uncomfortable if they tried. It seems with each new model Airbus puts out the seats regress to more medieval technology.
We had reserved a gluten free meal for my wife. When I went to check in it was gone from our reservation. The crew attempted to put something together so she would have food to eat but the response from their customer support team on the phone was not great. I recommend verifying all meals twice before 48 hours out. On a 7+ hour flight this is not fun.

Our trolley bag was taken put in the hold despite others with the same case or bigger bags being allowed on and practically forcing their bags into overhead lockers. Our bag measured exactly the required dimensions. It was one rule for one and one rule for another

The flight was not crowded and that was a nice surprise for a transatlantic flight. Each passenger was offered a personal bottle of water upon boarding, cabin crew was very nice and professional. The flight was on time and we arrived at the airport of destination even ahead of time!

The flight attendants are attentive and know how to anticipate your needs. I used to travel from New York to Korea then the Philippines, and I choose to fly Korean Air. In my opinion, their service crew improved a lot Including their food.
From boarding to meal to disembarking, Korean Air does it right. They are attentive to your needs and provide excellent customer service.
On this particular flight, a nice glass of white wine would have been nice but they had beer instead. I survived. Additionally, an upgrade on their earphones would be nice. Their sound quality is not the best.
