I knew I was going to check a bag. Jetstar sent me a text instructing me to check in, which I did. No info about baggage with the check in. Got to the airport and they charged me almost $100 for luggage. If I had prepaid it would have been $30. Staff at checking counter were rude and unhelpful.
Return journey of our flight was moved so disrupted our onward flights. Getting in touch with customer services was impossible. Only way is to 'live chat' then they tell you their hands are tied and to speak to the 'refunds team' who don't have a number and will 'be in touch with you'. They won't be. Then outbound flight was cancelled at the last minute. Waiting for a refund........and waiting. If it's a choice between jet star or swimming to your next destination, swim.
The plane was not full plenty of room to move to a better seat with a window.
No entertainment so was a bit boring plus why pay for seats when they move you to a different anyway.
Aecobd delayed flight in a row. Was on ground 1.5 hours nefore takeoff .
Flight was smooth and landed earlier than time.
Domestic flights don't offer food and entertainment which is difficult for families with children.
