Overall, very pleased with this flight. Boarding could be better because boarding was announced without a microphone so people didn’t know to line up until we heard the staff walking around to announce it. Also, had to stand in line for 10’ before we started moving. My husband who is impatient and cannot stand for too long did not like this. The rest of the flight- crew, food, and entertainment were very good.
Really good 👍 This was our first time flying with Vietnam Airlines. It was a short domestic flight, so no meal service, but boarding was organized and the flight departed and arrived on schedule. The flight attendants were professional and neatly presented. All in all, a very good first experience. We would recommend Vietnam Airlines.
This is a very short commuter flight, so there is no food or flight entertainment. Hence, I marked it in the neutral flight left on time. The plane was full pretty much and it was a pretty easy flight overall very good.
Very good flight and very kind crew Only thing is I wish there would be a vegetarian option for the meals
Lovely staff, comfortable seats. Transit time was short but they had great processes in place to get us on the plane.
Poor. Flight was delay without prior notice. Poor boarding. Poor meal service. Plane was dirty and smelly. Does not worth the money.
when we arrived at Taipei no one help us to get boarding pass. we saw a few people there asked them for help but they just ignored us. There was a guy told us to call Starlux number to get help but we don’t know how to dial the number until there was a lady working there helped us to call Starlux customer then someone came down took us to another counter for boarding pass. Very confused and inconvenient. We might not choose Starlux again in the future.
They didn't have a vegetarian food in spite of the ore order
Flight was good but they cancelled return direct flight so they provide us connecting flight through hanoi
Inflight entertainment is limited. Boarding process is delayed and interrupted.
Automated check in could have been better organised and informative
Flight delayed for one hour last minute change the gate this is something new? Wak all over the airport bit fast bording to flight smd miss my meeting in kuaa lumpur is the year end meeting no internet in flught which is not good Anyway overall is good thanks to the crew on duty Un able to check in on line and choose the seat thatbi wanted and in flight meal too unable to purchase rrally sad Should get priority seat in next booking
We were told that flight was delayed by 20 mins, but it left close to an hour late. But they did make it up and arrived early; it's just very difficult to keep waiting when it's a late flight. Food was mediocre.
We recently flew with AirAsia and encountered several issues. Our flight was delayed by over an hour, and both boarding and takeoff were postponed without any prior notification. Although we eventually realized there was a delay on our own, the crew did inform us afterward. To make up for lost time, the pilot took off at high speed, resulting in some turbulent moments that were quite scary. Despite these challenges, the cabin crew did an excellent job managing the situation and easing the inconvenience. Overall, while the delays and turbulence made for a stressful experience, I appreciated the crew’s efforts to keep us as comfortable as possible.
I had a wonderful experience with this company. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Our pilot was skilled and clearly experienced. The value for the price was excellent. I would definitely recommend them.
Boarding was nuts. Gate change. Delayed. No communication from gate staff. They seemed lost. Rest of the flight went well
Air Asia’s standard has dropped tremendously post pandemic. The whole organisation feels ‘soul-less’
Crews could have been more friendly and helpful . One specific crew was a bit rude to some passengers
No complaints. Made it on time with a minimum of hassle. Some complementary soft drinks would have been nice tho.
I don’t fly also same as previous no refund even it’s airlines or agency mistake
The issue was a 4 hour delay to takeoff with very sketchy information provided about the available of the flights delay. Passengers were not informed of gate changes and how long the delay might be. It ended with a late night 2 hour drive to our home which was not ideal for elderly people.
80 minute delay on departure based on two no show pax; removal of checked bags. Boarding very awkward, and waiting in terminal until specific rows called (not zones). Overhead not used for boarding, but specific staff member notifying people at the top of the stairs. Numerous people noted "this is confusing" on boarding. Seats ok, but entertainment (and food, and seat selection) all at extra cost. Smooth flight, and friendly neighbours.
I was treated poorly in Dunedin by check in crew, then my bag was lost in Auckland. Never again.
The flight take-off was delayed which was fine but the staff seemed pretty over their jobs. The seats are very uncomfortable and the food was pretty average. Overall is was okay.
Flight was delayed by 1 hour, we board then had to sit on the tarmac for another hour before take off. The flight was fine but again another delay with the baggage which took another hour to appear on the carousel.
Worst experience ever flying Melbourne to Phuket. 5 hours delayed! Didn’t land till 1am in the morning. Staff were rude and unhelpful
Check in was awful. Crowded and staff was lazy. Service for food was slow, could have turned off the lights much earlier which could make the red eye flight much more convenient
The plane was new. There are two rows of business 2 x 2, but the seat pitch is the same as the rest of the plane (3 x 3). Carry ons must be weighed and tagged before boarding. Do this at home to avoid nasty surprises.
The plane layout is built for short haul domestic flights. 3-3-3 configuration in economy is ridiculous for ~10 hour international flight.
Great service with an excellent selection of food onboard at reasonable prices. Seats are supportive and there’s enough room for me (I’m 5” 8). Water was supplied free of charge which doesn’t always happen for budget flights.
Every thing was good except for the airlines kept changing my boarding times but the staff is nice and everything was good.
The price of the ticket was good. No online check-in available. At check-in the staff wanted to see proof of an ongoing flight from Thailand, which I refused to give. (None of their business, IMO. I had to sign a responsibility waiver form.) The luggage was late loading, which meant the departure was late, as was the arrival. The flight was without incident, although the landing was very rough. Luggage delivery to the belt at BKK was very slow. The result of both delays was that the taxi I'd booked was no longer waiting for me. I know they're a new airline, but not a very good experience, in all honesty.
When booking through Kayak, we were redirected to a third party booking site called Kiwi. Apparently we paid the full amount to Kiwi, but they did not pay the airline. When we arrived at the airport, we had to buy tickets again because they said the tickets we booked through Kiwi were cancelled due to non-payment. Beware of Kiwi! We are trying to get them to reimburse the other set of tickets we bought now.
New aircraft, no crying babies :D, on-time departure, professional and good looking air crew :D. Overall I had good experience and great first impression with Vietravel Airlines
All good and friendly However the blasting of music at take of and landing is so annoying and can’t hear anyone speaking .
Waited for 1 hour on tarmac because they couldn’t locate a tow truck. Flight was fine once we eventually took off.
Cheap flight but more expensive when the airlines demands you pay over 30$ for 1 kilogram overweight ( it is 8,2kg I have for carry on baggage) The flights announcement 2PM, and it departed 4 PM, no announcement for delaying, People says Vietjet is delayJet airlines in their blood.
Vietjet tried to steal extra money from passengers by forcing them to change the name on the ticket that was correctly filled in on an English form online when ticket bought online. I bought the ticket via a foreign website where the language is English, At filling in the passenger's name, it says middle name first, then first name, and last name, That the ticket done and printed. when my wife checked in the staff at the check in counter said that her name was written wrong, she must fill the name in Vietnamese style, writing the Last name first, then middle name, first name comes last, even though her name was not misspelled. At the aiport I asked the Vietjet customer service, if it is written in Vietnamese way, it will be wrong when she travel abroad ? The custom service could not answer. It took over an hour where my wife was thrown like a ball between the check-in counter, to the Vietjet customer service , then to passport control. The cost is 110,000 vnd for change place in vietnamese way, I thought if there are millions of passengers who have done the same mistake, how much money Vietjet raked in every year On the flight, it is not allowed to sit in the empty seats in front or next to me, I sat in the middle in a row where two big men were sitting, I really need to change seats but the crew asked to pay extra to buy the empty seats. It is petty and cruel of Vietjet. There is no other choice than the state-owned airline, then you have no choice but to swallow the bite
I have few bad reviews about VietJet, but my experience was really good and it worth every penny..
Very bad experience and will never try their service again. Not even water serve for 8hr flight. Will have to wait for every prepurched to cimplete before can buy water.
The plane stayed hot the entire time, no leg room, no entertainment. Definitely a budget airline experience.
Trip was only 40 minutes in duration....no food and no entertainment. Otherwise it was excellent!
Good value airline for a LCC - food selection and drinks looked well priced. Flight was delayed and no rush to make up time
Maybe there was something wrong with pressure sensor or something. my ear was very uncomfortable and many babies were crying like hell. It happened during landing.
