I was very pleased with this trip from Anchorage to Seattle and Seattle to Billings. Wheelchair assistance was rendered and gratefully accepted. Unlike my outbound flights to Seattle I did not have long, painful walks on a bad knee to get to airport gates. My thanks to the Alaska staff.
No issues at all other than the seats. Of all the airlines I've flown on in my life (this was my first with Alaska Airlines), these were significantly the most uncomfortable seats I've had - more so than Spirit Airlines. I'm a relatively young guy and mostly fit but oof, i was aching in muscles I didn't even know I had. Not sure if the seats are standard for the plane (if it even works like that) or if the choice to use cardboard as cushion and 90 degree angle back rests was a decision, but it wouldn't honestly make me think twice about flying with them again. Other than that - perfect flight. It was quick, crew was nice, ride was smooth so all things considered I appreciate the last minute availability offered after a sudden relocation on my part.
Short flight was fine, but no entertainment and bathrooms broken.
All went smoothly. Only one delay departing Seattle of around 30 minutes.
We were in 1st class. Haven’t flown 1st class in over 35 years. This was special trip. 30yr anniversary and family travel. Food was good for airline food. Crew was very attentive.i expected easier movie access. Had to use own device. Second leg with Hawaiian airlines was exceptional in every way.
I paid for a window seat and on both flights I was put in the middle seat. Then on my flight to seattle I had to sit next to a passenger with a cat. I'm allergic to cats. So I sneezed, and had a running nose all flight.
Since the flight was delayed, snacks and water were provided.
Would have been nice if my flight was on time and I didn't miss my connection and had to spend the night in Seattle, losing one night at the VRBO I paid for in Sitka. And, my connecting flight was still at the gate when my flight was taxiing to it's gate. But, it took off. Too bad for me. I really can't believe you even want me to review or comment on my experience.
Upon arrival I was disappointed that the assist I requested to get to the baggage claim wasn't provided. The entire baggage area was not clearly marked and I wanted to store my baggage overnight, that wasn't available. I had to take it on the shuttle to the hotel!
The staff was extremely pleasant, and the ride was uneventful… If I were going to a place they serviced, I would take Alaska again
Alaska Airlines crew had the empty two people seats but they lied to us and said they can adjust us , so we have to seat apart
Ok but why they need to sell the ear buds?
Our flight was delayed, which I know things can happen. The bathrooms were dirty and a mess. It took over an hour to get our bags after the plane landed. Every flight was on the same 2 baggage claims. You would thing if we spent over 5 hours on a flight we would get more then a tiny bag of pretzels. The movie and tv choices were mid.
The flight was very smooth and the landing was AMAZING! I have flight anxiety and it didnt peak once! :) Thank you to the pilots and crew!!
Pillows and blankets were nice since it was an overnight flight, but the seats should be larger and there should be more space between rows so we have more leg room.
Crews were very friendly and the flight was comfortable. WiFi option was great.
My flight was unexpectedly rescheduled to three days after the intended departure date about seven hours before the flight, ruining my plans and vacation. Moreover, I was forced to cancel my return flight as well, losing about $400 dollars in the process.
Logging into next flight was an issue as I never received a confirmation code
I loved flying Hawaiian Air! We didn’t pay to sit together, but we were able to anyway. They had usb charging ports and even outlets in some seats. They served a hot sandwich that was not very good, but we were still pleasantly surprised. The staff was very nice. The seats really made my booty hurt but maybe I’m just not used to sitting so long. Also, the AC was really cold even though I was wearing pants, a hoodie, and a light blanket.
The crew was great, the food is decent for airline food, and we flew economy but the seats are comfortable and had plenty of room for my 15 year old son and myself. Would fly Hawaiian Airlines again for a long haul flight in a heartbeat.
