Grandma next to them was careless too,mother left the kids to father and was sitting 2 rows in the back and they never came at least to try to make them quiet even when the kids started to kik everywhere licluding the food tray and almost breaks it. Unfortunately the staff never came and try to talk to them about this issue Most of the people including several senior citizens looked angry and frustrated."

Altogether we we had a 14-hour day or so of flying with two small children and it could have easily been a 20-hour-or-more day of flying had Japan Airlines not been so great at what they do. We can't say enough about how amazed and blessed we were by their customer service."

Cons: "I'm an entertainer, very well respected in Hawaii, Japan and the world. and has always traveled JAL. I travel with my guitar and has never had a problem carrying it on board. The staff will usually come a get it and put it in the closet if it didn't fit in the overhead. But I guess recently rules change, and was told I would have to check it in because the closet space is used only for staff and business people. Was told that the 737 was to small for my guitar won't fit overhead. I have taken 737's all my life with Aloha Airlines and told them that my guitar would fit. That gentleman was a JERK! and was'nt very helpful, and told me I couldn't take it on board and I would have to take it to the package store and have them box it up. That spoiled my whole vacation."

Cons: "The DC China Embassy web site clearly states that a valid APEC Business Card can be used in lieu of a Chinese visa. In spite of this I was denied boarding by JAL. It turns out the system is not fully in place, and eventually I was issued a 10 year multiple entry visa by way of apology. JAL did not waive cancellation fee, and I suffered considerable economic damages."

The flight was packed, my inflight entertainment was broken, my folding table was broken so all my meals had to be held up by my knees , and I had a kicking screaming baby seated behind me keeping me up the whole flight. The crew was very rude and irritated by the full flight so the service was also terrible. Never flying with AA again."

Crew gave us stupid explanations to justify charging us like you are in the boarding group 7 which we never asked to be placed. It’s the airline business to choose some passengers to charge $100000 Colombian pesos for getting bags, and then after being forced to pay for the bags crew doesn’t give a receipt so we wouldn’t have proof of the fraude. Charging for bags is at discretion of crew. When buying the tickets for me and my family I checked the policy about luggage and the website doesn’t state about being charged for getting regular size bags like ours."

The attendants who are Spanish speakers but bilingual were delightful. We had one meal on each flight and 2 rounds of drinks. We had no issues with carry on or checked luggage. To summarize we had 2 perfect on-time flights with no fuss or drama. I couldn't recommend them more even if I tried.."

Much time was wasted and I had to reschedule my flight. The staff members that booked my hotel and my new flight were short and brief and not very helpful or accommodating or informative. Overall I didn’t not feel like a welcomed guest and I do not feel enough compensation was offered for such an inconvenience. Not being able to have my bag overnight was a hassle. I had no clean clothes and had to throw out my contacts because I had no solution. I also couldn’t use the meal voucher they gave me because everywhere in the airport was closed by that time. No stipend was given for toiletries or food delivery. Very unimpressed."

I had to purchase new toiletries and had to make arrangements to get back to the airport. As of now, I do not plan on choosing American Airline nor LATAM for my future flights."

Attendant, when he finally appeared, seemed, to this traveler at least, unengaged, abrupt, even rude, certainly not as welcoming and helpful ad other UA counter attendants at busier airports and at more demanding times. The word lazy comes to mind. The same individual handled the gate. His demeanor there was similar. If it is UA policy to leave counters unattended, an explanation should be posted; if present policy requires one individual to handle counter and gate duties, perhaps more help is needed. This experience, all the more frustrating when a passenger ruses early so as to comply with recommended arrival and boarding times, combined with the fact that the incoming flight significantly delayed AVL to Washington depart setting the tone for a mostly mediocre experience crowned by a painful trek from terminal A to terminal C to catch the connection to PVD. Not a best effort by UA. Outstanding flight and cabin crews saved the day."

We sprinted off the plane and arrived to the gate two minutes after they closed the door; plane was still there and they would not let us on. United knew we were coming and they closed the door anyway. The next flight out to Liberia, Costa Rica wasn’t for two more days. They ended up rebooking us on a flight to Panama which had a connection to San Jose, Costa Rica. Much farther of a drive from that airport. Very disappointed in how United handled this situation, we were told if it was a bigger group they would have held the plane for us. I will never fly United again but I know it has nothing to do with Kayak. Kayak has always been great and is my go to for booking plane tickets."

Pros: "Plane did its job - got us from Point A to Point B safely. United Customer service dept in Chicago was helpful and cheerful."
Cons: "Entertainment system was out on the plane. Plane sounded old and rickety - lots of rattles and creaks."

Pros: "I went to go talk to an employee about my flight boarding without me, when an Edwin Rodriguez of EWR New Jersey United Airlines employee started screaming at me. He told me to “wake up” and go run after my flight then while going after my flight he yells at me to come back. He apologized a few minutes later and then proceeds to yell at me again. My flight was canceled and reset for a later time. I have prior medical conditions that Edwin Rodriguez agitated through consistently harassing me at the help desk and am now in distress. I’m being relocated due to active duty military service and this is how you treat military veterans and their families."
Cons: "Edwin Rodriguez of the EWR airport in New Jersey. If I screamed whenever I didn’t get my way I’d be arrested. I will never fly United Airlines again because of Edwin Rodriguez."

Pros: "Very little. The crew were grumpy and barely gave any service beyond what they had to do. They grunted "Chicken or fish" and "What beverage do you want" and basically threw the food and drinks at the passengers.."
Cons: "Almost everything..."

Pros: "The entire team from check in until landing went over and aboard to ensure all passengers had a comfortable flight. Would consider flying with United again."
Cons: "The lines at the security check point were out of control. However the agents did thier best to keep the lines moving efficiently. I would also have liked to receive more up to date airline notifications"

Pros: "Staff were very polite and courteous. Friendly and kind. The flight was on time and smooth. I really enjoyed my time and the stewardesses were awesome."
Cons: "I really don't have any response to this question. I didn't have any food or entertainment due to my choice so I really appreciate the crews overall performance."

Pros: "To be honest both flights were below average and the average flight isn't great to begin with. United found a way to really push the boundaries of that floor"
Cons: "Could not check in online. Had to get boarding pass at kiosk. No opportunity to upgrade if purchasing basic economy. Staff not helpful. Restricted to a purse size bag? Really? I just love that united gives you one last chance to gouge you by telling you that you CAN check in online only if you pay for check in. I know delta started this whole basic economy deal but united really set a new low on their version."

Pros: "United representatives were friendly."
Cons: "TSA at Denver was the worst I have ever experienced in all my years of flying - they closed down lanes despite incredibly long lines winding around the entire floor of of the security areas, their staff was rude and the lines moved incredibly slowly - mostly because they seemed understaffed and unconcerned with anything other than themselves."

Pros: "An old 777 , dirty and the food was horrible."

Pros: "The flight attendants were excellent! They were very friendly, visible, & polite. And they appeared to have a very busy flight with some high maintenance passengers, including a sick child."
Cons: "The plane was old and the back seat TVs were pretty terrible. Also the satellite didn't seem to be working to watch movies or TV through the United app, which was very disappointing on this rather long flight."

Cons: "My flight was delayed in Portland due to " airport construction" at SF . My . connection was missed in SF causing a day long lay over. Meal voucher was denied by 2 different United customer service people..i don't consider construction out of human control ,like weather. Also ,I found it annoying that because a woman in front of me started crying over her missed I connection for an international trip, she was given a meal voucher.Agents were unfriendly and not sympathetic.Long line of customers with only 3 agents , but of course, they had to still use one for elite customers."

Pros: "First flight delayed once board to check a broken light. Then waisted 40 minutes taxiing on tarmac in Houston because they couldn't find a gate. Missed our connection. They put us up in a low end hotel overnight. Then we had our morning flight again delayed as we waited for planes to the take off, so further delays. Arrived in Costa Rica 1 hour late. Now with too many other flights so immigration packed and took another hour and twenty minutes (when we finished there was only a 5 minute wait). Thanks United"

Cons: "I didn't like that I couldn't take an earlier flight home to Ontario without having to pay a fee. The airline delayed my flight a day later just to get to Oregon and the least they could do was give me an early flight home."

Cons: "Hour delay that made me miss my connecting flight. Customer service agent, Theresa, at the United gate was more interested in checking her cell phone text messages & handing out $10 food vouchers than the long of people who have conflicts with connecting flights or missing events in the destination they were flying to. Every minute lost could prevent customers from obtaining another immediate or comparable flight to their destination. Customer service agent sent those who were going to have problems with their connecting flights to the United Airlines service desk, of which, there were no customer service agents at any of the four available stations. I waited 10 minutes for an agent & no one arrived. When I went back to the original line I was standing in, I was forced to go to the back of the line rather than the place I was originally standing. Therefore I waited in line an additional 20-30 minutes. Once I was served they did not have any more seats available on direct flights to Melbourne. They wanted me to fly to NY, then Sydney & then Melbourne. Additionally the customer service agent did not seem confident this flight was not going to have any hiccups. Worst of all, I had been planning this trip for months & it was ruined by United Airlines."

Pros: "Never took the flight to Appleton. However, I can tell you the flight to Green Bay was AWESOME! The entire crew on this flight should be commended and given a raise!!"

Cons: "Everything. I had a very tight schedule to visit my friends in canada. What was supposed to be a quick flight turned into almost 24 hours of travel and ariving 12 hours late. I was lucky to have 3 days in with my friends now i only have 2. Not to mention what was supposed to be an inexpensive trip turned i to an expensive one when you are forced to eat airport food after being constantly re routed. I bought my ticket based on ariving to ottawa in the morning this however was not the case. I will be seeking a refund."

Cons: "My flight number did not match theirs and they told me I missed my flight even though I had the right gate number and the fact that I waited for 2 hours and saw no flight departing from the gate."

Cons: "The flight from SFO to BOS was delayed two hrs. No big deal inbound aircraft delay. However, they boarded everyone knowing the plane which was missing seat cushions wasn't ready for take off so we sat at the gate for an hour before a six hour flight that was sold out. It was extremely uncomfortable!"

Cons: "There was a delayed my flight, arrived late, delayed in the plane getting off, nothing but delays."

Cons: "We had to land in San Antonio due to bad weather (understandable), but the customer service was appalling. They kept passengers on the plane for 3 hours and 45 minutes, which is prohibited by federa law. They failed to provide additional snacks when the passengers were on the plane for over 7.5 hours, and made it seem like it was such a nuisance when we asked for water. They were able to pass out one cookie by hour 6 but the flight attendant made it VERY clear that they had to do "so much paperwork" to get it approved. The flight attendants were rude, inconsiderate, and when asked what the game plan was after our 4 hour delay, their response was, ""not sure, not my department." If they didn't have answers, that's fine, but the manner and careless tone in which they replied was inconsiderate and insincere. When we finally landed at our half way destination in Houston, the flight attendant made a comment about how she can't get home due to all of the delays without considering that half of the passengers had the same dilemma and paid hundreds of dollars for their flights! The flight attendant had no empathy or respect and I would NEVER take this airline again. We spent the night at the airport and are still trying to find a flight to our destinatiom in New York :("

Cons: "Two flights, two delays."

Cons: "The 3 hour layover in Chicago. Why I had to go to Chicago then back to Moline. Kinda dumb. Food tad bit on the pricey side."
