Pros: "The boarding process was easy and straightforward, the seats were comfortable and had individual entertainment screens, the crew was very polite and helpful. For meals, everyone was given a printed menu at the start of the flight so that meal options could be easily made."

The food was good but uninteresting and I think for an overnight flight there should be more smaller,lighter, non spicy options offered rather that full dinners."

Cons: "The international transfer process at Manila airport was the worst I’ve ever seen. They had about 20 people standing at a desk for about 90 minutes with no explanation as to what was going on. In that time, nobody was released to go to their gate, but they wouldn’t explain what was happening. There were about 10 airport staff standing there, mostly doing nothing. The process was inefficient, to say the least. There was no place to sit, no toilets, no order to any of it. In most international airports, after you deplane, you just walk to your next gate. There seemed to be no logical reason for that awful experience. It would have been much faster to go through customs and then go through security, walking directly to the gate."

He used profanity in telling his story."

Cons: ". I was shocked to see social distancing was not implemented with no seats apart and I was in the middle of four seats. If the journey is as important as the destination, then it already failed the minute I was seated in a very intimate setting alongside strangers and seeing the economy class fully booked. The airline defended this by saying they have special economy seats but I complained that this is not equitable since the seats are limited and not everyone could afford an upgrade. Even if they could, the passengers would still be seated side by side and the total number of passengers aboard a tight and enclosed space or load factor is still very high. The airline’s policy was so inconsistent with the very rigid rules of the different government agencies upon disembarkation."

Cons: "kind of hard to believe my other flight through PAL was the best I've taken. This must have been an older plane or something. No entertainment minimal leg room. Must have just been luck of the draw"

Pros: "Honestly one of the best flights I had compared to my previous flight over from Hong Kong with same airline. Plane was newer with entertainment module with a huge list of movies and shows to choose from. food was the best airplane meal I had ever had. Had no issues during baggage or boarding,"
Cons: "Only thing I didn't like was that checking in online was impossible because I was booked from another airline (air Canada). I wish they could co-ordinate to make online booking available even though we were booked through another airline just so we had a better choice for our seats."

Pros: "I liked the fact that it was relatively efficient terms of service on the plane. Flight attendants were courteous and hospitable, despite the fact that the flight was full. It was also a relatively smooth flight."
Cons: "First of all, it took a very long time to check-in, despite the fact that I had done web check-in the night before. I think a lot of people felt the same way. It took also a very long time before we took off. We were told that it was because of the luggage being loaded but it took almost 2 hours before we finally took off. In the plane, there was a man who was obviously intoxicated and was talking in a very loud voice. I think that someone should have spoken to him about his behavior and proper decorum on the plane. Also, the flight didn't have WiFi working on the plane as well (we were told that it wasn't working) and the seat back was broken. I wish that they had told us that ahead of time to manage expectations. I hope that the next flight that I take on Philippine Airlines will be better. I hope that these comments/suggestions will really be taken into consideration so that they can make their service even better because I would really want to use Philippine Airlines again."

Cons: "Bad snacks, very limited baverage served. Limited selection of movies. very very limited TV shows. Almost no music to my taste, need to upgrade their music options!!"

Cons: "Flight attendant was rude in general (serving food, drinks, answering questions), he skipped rows when giving hot towels (I wasn't served a hot towel). In-flight entertainment: limited movie selection, even more limited tv shows selection. Music section was very poor, it needs more selection with variaty, known artists, more radio channels. And music tracks should be in a tracklist form with song information, not only 1 hour-long tracks of back to back music (with no info). Meals - Mains were ok, deserts were terrible in both of my flights. Snacks were also bad, a scone and beef and cheese sandwich. Very blend, white bread only and oily. We weren't served enough bevarages, so oily and high-carb foods made me very thursty. No water fountains, it'd be great to have some around since staff does not give enough beverage and I was forced to chuck my water before boarding the airplane (the water I bought in the airport after passport check!!!!!!!) It was extremely cold."

Cons: "More often than not, Philippine Airlines has been our airline of choice because we found their rates to be fair and flights direct and easy. Despite the fact that the PAL terminal was pretty poor, and the food on board was never really decent, we remained loyal to PAL for quite a few years. On our way back to Melbourne from Manila on June 17, Saturday, Colin, Hendrix and I were awaiting boarding at gate 10 for flight PR 209. Having flown with PAL from Melbourne to Manila (as well as with another airline from Manila to Manchester and back), we understood that the usual procedure was to allow passengers with infants to board first. Due to the lack of order (there were no clear queues in sight), Colin decided to ask 3 different PAL personnel if there was, indeed, a priority queue for people travelling with infants. ALL THREE PERSONNEL ASSURED US THAT THEY WERE NOT YET BOARDING AND THAT WE WOULD BE CALLED UPON PRIOR TO THEM LETTING ANYONE ELSE ON THE PLANE. 2 minutes later, a PAL personnel appears with signage that reads certain row numbers and begins to call out to ALL PASSENGERS FOR BOARDING. Colin swiftly rushes to the front (me and baby in tow) and demands an explanation as to why we were told one thing but are watching them act upon something completely different. I wish I was joking when I tell you that the personnel just stared blankly at us and then carried on checking boarding passes. No apologies, no explanation offered. As soon as we boarded, Colin turned to the first flight steward he saw and asked for a complaint form and told this could ONLY be done online, to which Colin requested we be given the email/web address upon take off. The seats assigned to us were on the right most side of the aircraft, a window and a middle seat. As Colin was placing our bags in the overhead compartment, the steward called to Colin from across the aisle (past the 3 seats in the middle of the plane) to introduce the purser, Jolly Bello. Please note this was happening while people were also trying to get past and get to their seats -and Mr. bello called out across the aisle, "I heard you have a complaint??" to which Colin, baffled, replied "yes do you want to come over here so we aren’t shouting over these people?". Colin yet again told this purser what the complaint was about and was asked (verbatim) "so would you like to make a complaint against THEM?" Would the correct protocol not be to 1. Apologise for any confusion, miscommunication or poor service, 2. Take some responsibility and acknowledge the complaint and 3. Maybe come approach us AFTER TAKE OFF and not while everyone is trying to board the plane? We are no longer choosing Philippine Airlines."

Cons: "Website issues, double booked this flight, but both Cebu Pacific and Kiwi both say to bad!"

Cons: "Cebu Pacific has to be the worst airline I have ever flown with. Boarding alone was so disorganized. People were trampling each other. The flight times changed twice. I lost over $200.00 with no refund. Said I could get credit. Yeah, like I would ever fly with them, again."

Cons: "We were delayed by 7 hours. The ground staff did their best. They gave some snacks which I'm sure Filipinos like but were not to my tastes. Sitting on a hard floor for 7 hours with nothing to eat before a 3.5 hour flight is not my idea of a good day!"

Pros: "check in went smoothly and boarding was orderly. The flight departed on time and arrived in Singapore on schedule.The flight deck kept us well informed and the cabin crew were very helpful, willing and able to keep the passengers happy."

Cons: "Typical one hour delay due to manila traffic...does this airline every depart or arrive on time?? Nooooo! Boarding was a cattle call as usual its a stampeed. The new 321 aircraft is crammed like cattle car, no legroom and a backpack can barely go under the seat....no recline so very uncomfortable"

Cons: "So when I bought the tickets. I paid for extra luggage of 40 kgs, then I unselected the assigned seating since I didn’t care where I sat, and I would rather use that money to pay for the extra luggage. I double checked several times before proceeding. At the check in counter, guess who had to pay extra because apparently the 40 kgs did not go through."

Cons: "So late, I missed a 3 hour connection."

Pros: "Nothing much. The flight crew were ok."
Cons: "Flight was delayed 90 minutes. Boarding and departure lounge area was utter chaos because the Cebu Pacific staff were not clear about which flight waa boarding. The plane was horribly cramped. Extra seat rows had been installed to get more seating on the plane. That might be ok for the average 5'4" Filipino, but at 6'1", I literally could not fit my knees behind the seat in front of me. As a result I had to twist my legs into an uncomfortable position for 2 hours. Not fun."

Pros: "Boarding was organized if there is such a thing in the philippines, but at least they tried. Iloilo airport is very nice and allows more room than manila fiasco. The flight for once left early and arrived early and low and behold we had a jetway and no bus!! Luggage was off in record time"

Pros: "Was kindly moved to exit row after inquiring at checkin..very nice agent. Very comfortable and great legroom...unlike the hideous crammed in rows behind. Boarded early wjich is unusual for this airline to ever be on time...then sure enough 30 min delay due t9 manila traffic?? This country needs a new major airport or updated traffic control and another runway! This pilot had the smoothest landing...the last few flights have been awful landings, hard and scary"

Pros: "The timing of the Cebu Pacific flight from Bali to Manila was fantastic. Short immigrations lines in Bali and upon arrival in Manila. Seats were better than expected, although we paid extra for the 2nd row. Crew was professional."

Cons: "The cebu gate staff were awful, uninterested, never made announcemnts and as usual it was a cattle call to board. Rows were not followed. The sandwich i had paid for was all dry bread..it was awful."

Pros: "The flight attendants on the plane were very good very sweet very attentive. I also enjoyed the fact that we got a free meal without a ticket."
Cons: "The service at the airports for your company was abysmal to say the least. The fact that I had to pay over $100 for my bag to be checked was absolutely ridiculous. The personnel for Cebu Pacific at the Denspar airport were borderline hostile, racially discriminating and nasty. If you’re airport employees were half as good as the in-flight attendance I would fly with your company again as of right now you couldn’t pay me to get on your airplane."

Cons: "Boarding of passengers and loading of cargo delayed departure by 1h, no communication from pilot; seats on A330 were worn out, metal bar in seat cushion could be felt, making the flight very uncomfortable"
