Cons: "There was no organization for those of us that were moved to that flight. Shifted from 4 different lines and luggage was not sorted out after customs. Our luggage didn't make it on our flight since someone said since it said CVG, it would be fine. It wasn't."

Pros: "The legroom my seat had - It was near the exit and didn't have a seat in front of it. The flight was only half full which meant room for everyone to spread out."
Cons: "There was hardly any service. The flight left at 9:30pm. We were served dinner an hour later and given a bottled water. Then we never saw any of the attendants until 10 hours later. I had to hunt someone down in order to get some more water."

Pros: "Crew member Alex in the Economy main cabin was wonderful. He tried to memorise as many passenger names as he could as they boarded, and clearly has an amazing capacity to do so. His attitude -- that doing this is worthwhile -- is unusual and highly commendable. He immediately put people at ease. He was attentive, helpful, and very pleasant to all passengers throughout the very long journey. He was a remarkable crew member, turning a journey I had dreaded into one that was memorable."

Cons: "American Airlines cancelled a flight because of ‘weather’ from Msy to dfw, all other flights from Msy to Dallas operated on time but were sold out. We were re booked flying through San Francisco, missing out on flying on qantas, which is what I had paid for since they are a premium airline. We were booked on virgin America and then United for the international flight. United charged us each for 2 bags totalling $150 each, despite we booked a ticket with qantas which allows 2 bags each. Virgin America honoured our 2 bags, but united refused to. United also has service and aircraft which do not match the levels of qantas which I has specifically sought out. I could not eat some of the food because of the poor quality, and this is something I’ve never done before on an international flight. Additionally their were a lack of amenities on both flights, and no food vouchers despite our travel delay of over 5 hours. This whole ordeal has cost me money, worktime, and created a lot of stress to where I have had to cancel meeting on my arrival in Sydney."

Pros: "There was an excellent selection of movies to choose from. Breakfast was actually pretty tasty, and snacks and water were offered quite frequently. The seat was reasonably comfortable, and reclines back a decent way. For how huge the plane was, the boarding process was super fast and efficient!"
Cons: "Seats were still rather cramped for my poor husband, who is 6'3. It is very hard to get out of your seat if you're in a window and all the seats on front are fully reclined, and I am relatively spry! Can't imagine an elderly or debilitated person trying to do so! The in flight movies were great, but you had to use the headphones they provide, and none of the 3 pairs I tried worked well. All had constant static. Although the seats recline far, they also do it abruptly and are hard to get to come back up. The dinner (we had the beef) was not very good. The quality of the ground beef was what you would expect from a fast food place. The worst part of the flight was that the sat ALL the infants in the same area on the plane, and all right around us. 5 of them, to be exact. 17 hours of on and off screaming babies! My husband had to move to a different seat to get some sleep! Thankfully, I can sleep through anything. Overall, less terrible than I expected a 17 hour flight to be, but could have been better. Some crew were very nice and helpful and others not so much. The first woman my husband asked told him (rather abruptly) that he wouldn't be able to use his CPAP machine. Then a really nice guy helped him get it set up. The turbulence was a bit scary for me, and the way the captain would announce it didn't help! He'd just say "all passengers and crew be seated and fasted your seat belts" in a rather grim tone as the plane shook violently."

Cons: "No complaints, really. Wish I hadn't slept through the midnight snack. But I was able to sleep! That's a hit!"

Pros: "Everything except the cabin temperature."
Cons: "Some cabins had no heat. Other cabins had no air conditioning. My cabin was sweltering, which made it difficult to sleep and to be anything other than uncomfortable on the 16 hour flight."

Pros: "It was nearly impossible to get in or out of our seats when the chairs in front of us were reclined. When they are straight up it was no problem. Legroom was ample and the blankets and pillows were a nice touch."

Pros: "The crew is always pleasant and helpful."
Cons: "The business class seats are average at best. The dinner service is good but not well coordinated. The cheese platter at dessert is really anticlimactic. I look forward to international biz class meals, but I want this to be better."

Cons: "The arm rest next to mine would not stay in the upright position. That is the biggest problem I had."

Pros: "Service! Dinner was good, breakfast was a bit more hit and miss. Plane is quieter than most."
Cons: "Seats were like rocks. Business class, lay flat beds - even with the padded "sheet" they provide are abysmal. So much so that I cannot recommend the airline and will not fly them again."

Cons: "They put me in a broken seat in business class for which I had to call a flight attendant every time I wanted to adjust it."

Pros: "The A380 is pretty good for soaking up the typical bumps of air travel. This flight was the first where the lamding was so soft that the plane didn't jolt on landing. It made noise like we'd touched down, but the ground effect glide was perfectly choreographed by the crew. Nice job."
Cons: "There was an exceptionally narcissistic young man from China behind me who stood up and complaoned during rollout that he couldn't recline his seat. The crew suggested I relocate to a better seat. That was very nice and thougtful."

Cons: "I booked through justfly and then that flight was cancelled and they put me on a United flight to SFO and changed my seating to a middle seat, when I had paid for a window seat. They would do anything to change it back or refund me my money."

Cons: "I landed in Sydney but had a Qantas connecting flight to Melbourne. The baggage was checked in at Dallas thru to Melbourne. You need to drop off the baggage back to Qantas after clearing Customs in Sydney. Unfortunately Qantas makes you walk quite a long distance to to baggage drop off point. The experience made me think of experiences I have had in developing countries. I expected more thoughtful logistical arrangements from Qantas in Australia."

Pros: "Fantastic crew on the upper deck who were trying everything they could to make me and my partner comfortable while trying to find a replacement seat with working TV equipment."
Cons: "Seats very narrow, passengers behind kicking seats because not happy that I needed to recline to sleep. Failing equipment - the TV wouldn't operate on original seat, and on new seat, the touch screen didn't work on the entire left side of the screen. The only reason I flew qantas was because I thought they had better equipment. Crew on lower deck clearly not as dedicated to service. After being moved here in the hopes of getting a new seat with a working entertainment system I knew the service would be worse - and it was."

Pros: "It was nice that the flight was not full and we were able to stretch out in neighbouring seats. It was nice that the lights were left low for longer than a night's sleep, as not everyone wants to sleep at the same time on such a long flight."
Cons: "The food service was slow, and refills were not offered as has been the case on many other trans Pacific flights I have been on. Also we did not receive the mid flight snack that was listed on the menu. The meals themselves were not as tasty, varied, nor as filling as those on Fiji Airways and United Airlines. My dinner had only pasta with sauce in the container, with no other vegetable offered. I was still hungry after eating my breakfast, and I was only offered tea, when I expected both a choice of juice and tea."

Cons: "The seats were small so the overweight person next to me used up a lot of my personal space."

Pros: "Almost 17h is a LOOOONG flight, so it could have been awful... Thankfully it was not crowded, though, so I had a centre row to myself! Actually managed to get more than 4h of sleep. Loved the SkyCam, especially since we followed the full moon all the way."

Cons: "Seats are cramped. Entertainment was slow, limited selection and didn't work in a bunch of our seats. Flight was delayed 3 almost 4 hours and threw off the sleeping plan for our kids. No explanation other than " we are running late" and no compensation."
