I was sitting in economy and the level of attentiveness that we received, I could only imagine how great first class could be. if i could fly Singapore on all my trips overseas I would."

My husband and daughter were in First Class. The service was below average to say the least - more training required from check in to on board - (in Sydney the staff on the ground went above and beyond) In Singapore it was very fake and contained no sincerity. The lounge itself was also ordinary compared to others, no Amenity kits or PJs in business class - even Virgin Australia has that! I was so excited to be travelling Singapore again given past experiences but now Im not sure I will want to fly them again."

After booking through KAYAK for flights, the on-line check-in process was a nightmare with the KAYAK booking number not matching the information required by QANTAS. As my children were all spread over the plane, and two son's look very similar, a hostess almost did not serve one of my son's a meal as she believed my son had already received a meal further forward in the plane. Thankfully, upon checking, the hostess realised that it was a case of mistaken identity."

Being from the US, the cabin and service level far exceeds domestic service offerings from the large US carriers. Value quickly exceeds that of low-cost carriers, especially as a checked bag is included."

Pros: "Staff were courteous. Plane was clean and on time. Luggage came off in a timely manner."
Cons: "Same entertainment choices to/from flights. Not very good up to date choices of films. Food was abominable. What happened to serving trays with an assortment of goodies? Food portion was incredibly small. On long flights across country it would be nice to have built in screens for movies."

Cons: "Beef dish was mainly rice with insufficient meat or gravy to flavour the rice and there were no vegetables. Entertainment selection was of little choice with documentaries that were not only unsuitable for children but in my opinion unsatisfactory for adults."

Pros: "Automatic check-in was really easy to use and everything worked very well and looked modern and stylish. Flight was great, very smooth, good service and the airplane was in great condition. Luggage arrived on the belt very quick after landing."

Cons: "There was no in flight entertainment system and no WiFi. No food onboard. No credit card use. All soft drinks were purchase only. Cheap and nasty airline. Onboard Crew are miserable, ground crew just as miserable. Won't use again."

Cons: "Plane change to smaller craft meant that I was bumped from my flight. Flew at midnight, arrived 6am instead of arrival at 10:10pm and an overnight stay in airport hotel which was paid for and no refund on cancellation. Had to pay extra taxi costs. Because of the 10hour delay, I had to get a taxi home due to there being no way to go home and await flight."

Cons: "-The flight departed slightly late -There were no entertainment options on the plane aside from magazines and books I brought myself despite this being a cross-country flight."

Pros: "Easy booking system. Helpful friendly staff at the airport. Service and cabin crew lovely, no problems with baggage. Arrived on time."
Cons: "I find the seating too cramped."

Cons: "The way the air hostess talk to you very disrespectful. They have very bad communication skills"
