Worse, special needs passengers were the first to get on the bus, but end up last to get off screwing over the elderly and those with small children. What a system!"

I had to spend like 100 soles (30 dollars) to pay my upgrade seat. There is more Horrible experience to tell about it . Avoid LATAM"

We are not young people, but we aren't ignorant of travel. There was a lot of running around on our part with a lot of undue stress, when we didn't have to leave the E gates at all. There were no gate assignments posted when we landed until 30 minutes out while we were running back to E gates. There is no excuse for that, except we didn't know til the last minute where we were supposed to go after asking 2 people. Why the second check for security after the states on connecting flights? Is this new?"

The answer was if we wanted a better seat we’d have to pay because only back seats are available in economy and AA waits forbthose whi pay first and only then they”ll give us a seat. I”ve travelled several times with AA and feel the service is not worth the money I pay for it. The food on our flight back to BA was not good st all. However , I have to point out that all my flights BA to N Y, N Y to Mia and Mia BA left on time. On the whole it was good but I believe AA cares onñy about money and I feel disappointed"

There are so many expats in Buenos Aires and they all buy tickets in Argentina to go to Uruguay within 3 months. Upon showing the immigration of Argentina my USA passport at the entry, they have NEVER asked me for any kind of proof that I would be leaving within 3 months. At first I started to purchase a ticket to Uruguay by boat and the attendant even asked me the website of the boat because she told me that these problems come up all the time for expats going to Argentina for longer than 3 months. You are ONLY AN AIRLINE. YOU ARE NOT THE IMMIGRATION OF ARGENTINA. Having this said, I never plan to fly Avianca again."

However, they are maintaining they will NOT replace my laptop which was destroyed. It will cost over $1000 to replace the laptop alone."

Cons: "The international terminal at LAX is terrible as far as people being on hand or being able to offer assistance on getting to your next connecting flight. Getting 30 minutes to make a connecting flight that is on the other side of the airport with noone being able to tell you where your connecting flight is is almost impossible. The in-flight entertainment console was broken and was unusable during the flight. It would work for 5 minutes then glitch and the screen would flash until you stowed it away and waited 10 minutes to try again."

Cons: "I was sitting in the row behind the extra leg room seat. When they were fully reclined, I could not open my laptop fully, so I had to work with my laptop screen angled toward me. The seat back entertainment screen was impossible to see when the seat in front of me was reclined as well, and the screen did not adjust/tilt. Worst of all, it was extremely difficult to get out of the seat."

So since change fee was more than ticket I just ate the cost. Not happy with UNITED or KAYAK. Won't use either one again."

We then arrived late, which extremely rushed my already super tight transfer in LAX and cause a lot of stress and frustration with the airline."

Flight was also delay due to some lugage delays. Pretty messy experience overall."

You have to walk the entire area (seems like a whole separate terminal) to find the counters which were combined with 6 other airlines. Took only 20 minutes. Then to the opposite corner of the airport to board the plane to Madrid. WOW!"

Details like a travel bag with socks and a toothbrush were a pleasant surprise. I was thrilled that I could charge my devices all at the same time due to ample outlets."
Cons: "The food was just okay (only one option) and I had to ring the attendant to ask for water. There was no beverage service on a 7 hour flight and that seemed odd to me."

Pros: "Crew were simpatico and attentive. Seats OK, but not lie flat, Food was fine althoug not excellent. Good price for a business class MAD SJU."
Cons: "Boarding in Madrid was horrendous. After asking us to board the plane then held us in the "chute" standing up for 1/2 hour. Could have waited inside the terminal seating down! Entertainment in business was from the last century - no individual screens. An Ipad was handed to us resulting in a bunch of cables surrounding us through the entire trip."

There was no fees coming so I assumed there was none going back. $120 euros for 2 bags. Almost as much as the flight. I had no choice but to 120 euros without warning"
