Havana Airport (HAV) is also known as the Havana Jose Marti International Airport. Located in the Boyeros region, the airport is about 15 km southwest of central Havana.
International flights from the airport connect Havana with the rest of the Carribean as well as North, Central, and South America. You can also travel to and from Europe, Luanda in Angola, and Beijing in China.
You can travel by taxi to and from the airport and central Havana via taxi service. This will take about 30min and cost about 36 CUC (52 AUD).
There are four passenger terminals inside the Havana Airport: T1 is predominantly used for domestic flights; T2 is the US Charters terminal; T3 is the International terminal and also the largest of the four terminals serving more than 25 airlines; and T5 is the Carribean terminal, used mostly with Cuban Airlines.
If you have an early morning or evening flight, restaurants and bars operate 24h a day inside Terminal 3.
