I had a very disappointing experience traveling with Copa Airlines. When I arrived at the airport in Córdoba for my flight to Bradley International Airport, I was charged an additional $590 because I was told that certain taxes and fees had not been paid. However, my reservation and documentation clearly indicated that all applicable taxes and fees had already been paid. I was therefore forced to pay an additional amount that I believe I should not have been charged. What makes the situation even more concerning is that I was initially told I had to pay $890. Then, the amount was increased to $1,800, and eventually, after discussing the matter, I ended up paying $590. I consider this amount excessive and, more importantly, unjustified, since these charges had already been paid and nowhere in the terms of my reservation or contract does it state that these taxes or fees were outstanding. I am extremely dissatisfied with the way this situation was handled and with being required to pay an additional charge without a clear and consistent explanation.

Uncomfortable plastic seats even in premium economy. No free wifi. Even paid wifi was spotty to nonexistent. Bad food. Much worse than economy on foreign carriers like Qantas.

I would have liked to have been served more food when it came to Panama to Newark

Didn't make the flight because the first leg of my flight was canceled and the next leg was already booked.

Crew was excellent. This was a relatively long flight though and had very little leg room, and no entertainment.

The food should improve! And The flight should leave on time and not make the traveler wait.

I completely missed my flight because the first leg was longer than planned. I had to sleep overnight in the airport because no accommodation was provided and then sent to Trinidad in the morning with an anticipated 7 hour layover before my flight to Georgetown which was now with Caribbean Airlines. I tried twice with customer service to see if they could put me on an earlier flight which had seats available but was told it wasn’t possible.

We flew SEA -Houston-Panama-GYE round trip. The connections were torturing because we had to sleep over in Seattle to board the early morning flight and froze for 11 hours in Hoston for the return flight to SEA. Not United's problem, just the inconvenience of numerous transits. Restaurants and fast foods were closed and all we got was a cookie/coffee for each flight. Finally we waited for a long time for our baggage at carousel 9 as informed by the APP and all reliable sources. Suddenly some fellow passengers found out that our bags showed up on carousal 8.

The plane was comfortable but the crew wasn’t friendly.

I was traveling alone abroad for the first time and the staff was not helpful and rude at times.

Delayed 24 hours. Should have called it much earlier They provided quality accommodations, food vouchers etc. FINALLY The issues started at 8 AM and they cancelled the flight at 11:30 PM, with no plans for a new flight.

The flight attendants as well as the gate agent were out to lunch. Nothing extraordinary about their service. American just keeps getting worse every year.

I have been flying with American most of my professional career. But the airline seems tired and becoming more and more subpar with older planes than other airlines, dirtier and less comfortable seating, and less and less amenities. Their WiFi seldom works and their food is becoming more and more mediocre. How do you fly from LAX to PHL with only being offered one drink and as a platinum customer. I am exploring delta here on out for more of my flying.

Average - flew with Jet Blue internal and it was far more comfortable and better food and entertainment. Notable difference

American Airlines canceled the flight twice and was unable to facilitate a change of city for us after our travel plans became affected. We lost alot of money due to this and it seems like the airline was trying their best not to facilitate this. Mind you, I am a very loyal member.

They needed to de-ice the plane. Apparently airlines have a problem keeping their de-icing vehicles in good repair. After we backed away from the gate we sat and didn't move for nearly an hour. Nearly an HOUR with minimal communication from the flight crew. Eventually the sun took care of what American Airlines could not and melted the minimal ice. We finally took of a hour late which, in turn, jacked up our connection in Chicago.

Flight was a delayed a few minutes but nothing crazy, everything went extremely well

Our seats were better than i had anticipated. They provided nice pillows and blankets as well as a kit with ear plugs, sleep mask and headphones which made the long haul flight better. Their food selection and service was good. I appreciated that they came through the cabin with water a few times. We were ahead of schedule which was nice!
