The in-flight experience was excellent, the meals served were high quality and plentiful. The cabin and seats were quite comfortable. However, the Turkish Airlines ground staff were less than accomodating. We made a group booking in November 2025, including (at that time) and unborn baby. Travelled in July 2026 - you would think TA would seat a 'group' together, but not so. On our flights to IST from SYD our family was scattered though the cabin. No bassinet for my grandchild but they said they could provide one at an additional cost. Did we want the mother to sit with the new born? Oh, that's an additional $420 one way because the bassinets only fit in the seats with extra legroom. Want the father to sit next to the mother and child? Add another $420 one way! Ridiculous!

Liked the presentation and the seats. Did not care for the crew, they were efficient but not friendly and did not check if we needed anything

Turkish Airlines lost my reservation!!! I had to wait 8 hours for the next flight. They provided me with no food no water. Completely ridiculous!!! Never fly on this airline.

We had requested a wheel chair assist for my husband who has Parkinson’s. The first seat we came to we got off the plane was staffed by 3 men-one was on his cell phone, one was sleeping and the fellow we spoke with was rude and seemed as if he didn’t care that we had a plane to catch in one hour. A person with a wheel chair came and took us to the center area for wheelchairs. Here we waited for 20-25 minutes while our flight went to “boarding.” Finally a woman came with a cart and we zipped through the airport.

The best airline food being served for business travellers. Excellent food.

With a 4 hour delay its was a very basic flight which was just bearable. We were offered food vouchers for the delay and then they didnt work, so that was annoying. Also poor communication about the delay which got pushed out 3 times.

The food we received during the flight was excellent. The service was very friendly. Definitely the best value for the money when flying across the Atlantic.

Boarding was much delayed, and there was no explanation ( obviously they were waiting for something or someone. ) Passengers were all crowded at the gate with anxiety. On the plane, the crew worked very hard on checking for safety and serving delicious food. They were polite and courteous.

Professional staff we left on time. Meals were good. Added nice amenities.

There was a Turkish Airlines employee sitting in front of us, we noticed from her conversations we witnessed with the cabin crew and the fact that she boarded business class. She was sat in 16A. Firstly she was talking loudly the majority of the flight with two other men, one of which was leaning over the seat in front of her. This was disturbing as they were talking loudly and we were not able to sleep. The 12 hour long flight turned into a nightmare, even the noise cancellation didn’t work for their chatter. Secondly she requested extra meals from the crew for her male friends. We believe the meals came from business class. They also took their e-cigarettes out and were caught the cabin crew, but no further action was taken. Sitting in economy and seeing this is extremely disheartening. Next time I will book Emirites, I don’t think their staff would be allowed to behave like this.
