Pros: "Crew was nice."
Cons: "Ordered a vegan meal for flight companion pre-flight; we *both* received a vegan meal (it seems like people with incompatible diets cannot book their flights together). Flight seemed to have run out meals since a random third person in my row requested an extra meal and was told they were out. Flight etiquette of other passengers would have been nice; for example, it was also fairly unsafe for a father and child to keep walking up and down the aisles, let alone the bumping into people they kept doing."

Pros: "All great, except limited entertainment and wifi was n.a."
Cons: "Wifi, I was on replacement aircraft and no wifi for the whole flight"

Pros: "The crew was very hospitable and friendly"
Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "We paid $400CAD as a OneUp bid to upgrade to Skycouch. We then saw there was a skycouch row free on the plane, and I appreciated that they gave the first choice of this row to paying customers. So we ended up with two skycouch rows, one per person. Was a dream flight, could not fault them."

Pros: "Entertainment and board WiFi excellent"
Cons: "Boarding was a surprise, at least 200 m walking in the light rain, no previous warning."

Pros: "Crew were great!"

Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "The crew was great. The seats were good but not as spacious as some other business class airline seats."
Cons: "The TV screen interferes with the tray table and could knock off food from the table."

Pros: "Great and attentive crew. Solid in-flight entertainment. Pilots got us to destination 20 mins early!"
Cons: "1) It's pretty standard to offer a small toiletries pack (eg. Eyecover, toothbrush/paste, etc) on long-haul flights for other airlines. 2) Felt ripped off paying $50 for "preferred economy" seats that looked/felt identical to standard economy seats. Should be marketed as just priority boarding."

Pros: "Seat was comfortable (exit row) for a commuter jet."

Pros: "They took care of you. Meals were good. Excellent airline"

Cons: "Superb airline"

Pros: "Best inflight experience on economy!"

Pros: "Crew did a very good job"
Cons: "Trip was the roughest I have ever been on for virtually the entire time. Could not sleep. Business class cabin was also had the most noise of any front of airplane experience I have had."

Pros: "the staffs and the boarding experienve"

Pros: "Best airline meal I have ever had in. 50 years of flying."
Cons: "The seating configuration in business class"

Pros: "Baggage made it all the way to Queenstown from Perth"
Cons: "Check -in staff said that there were no seats available in emergency exit rows so put us in the row in front. We couldn't recline and thete were several seats empty in the emergency exit row behind us."

Pros: "Air New Zealand is a great airline. They give you a lot of food and the seats seem to have a little more space between them so your knees don't hit the back of the chair!"

Cons: "The check in at premier lounge wasn’t as good as before for bussiness elite !"

Pros: "Air New Zealand was great, plane comfortable and the crew very nice"
Cons: "$120 to check my 12kg bag! I was outraged! Was sold a ticket that included nothing but a seat and virgin and air new Zealand were not helpful. Kayak should have been more transparent about this exhorbitant fee! I plan to raise a stink when I get back to the states. Was shocked and had no other choose but to pay!"

Cons: "That is didn’t happen until the next day"

Pros: "My Dreamliner my seatmate the CREW! Flight attendant even made balloon for a little girl in shape of a dog!"
Cons: "Loved everything"

Pros: "The entire crew was excellent in all areas and all the time even on a 14 hour flight that had been delayed for about 20 hours."
Cons: "When we arrived in Auckland very late, Air New Zealand out me up in a third rate hotel in a very bad part of the city with little to no communication on how to get back to the airport the next day. The customer service number I was given, was mo help at all. Flights were great, but the way they handled the unexpected was very poorly done."

Pros: "Veer smooth ride. Very nice crew. Great service"

Pros: "It was operated by air New Zealand so the service was top notch once I was able to resolve all other issues boarding."
Cons: "We had a flight bought on virgin Australia and operated with air New Zealand. The air New Zealand part was all great plane boarding etc, the horrible part is that we bought baggage allowances with virgin and they never transferred the information to air New Zealand. So there I am from the USA in a foreign country boarding a flight being asked to pay 500 nz dollars for a few kilos when I had already paid for it. Having to produce emails and payment information on something I had done months in advance. Overall I won’t recommend virgin next time I’d book directly with air New Zealand"

Pros: "Will never book though BYOJet again."

Pros: "I was excited to see some notorious places as we flew into Queenstown....however, I wouldn't have known the places if I hadn't been sitting next to someone that knew the area."
Cons: "I can't complain about anything with Air New Zealand....I loved each flight with them."

Pros: "The entire group of employees were excellent, and very friendly."

Pros: "I was feeling motion sick and several flight attendants went out of their way to help me feel better. I wish I knew their names as I would specifically mention them, but I really appreciate everything they did for me during that time."
Cons: "Allow passengers to choose if they want a vegetarian meal."

Pros: "Top quality flight"
Cons: "The black boxes next to your feet are oddly placed and limit leg room."

Pros: "The boarding and on-board service were excellent. Enough free-of-charge entertainment to keep me occupied during the 3-hour flight between SYD and CHC. Plenty of room for carry-on luggage."
Cons: "Felt like I was flying a US carrier - very little room between the rows. I was surprised by this, as I thought that non-US carriers generally don’t pack their planes. I was surprised, but not inconvenienced by this, since it was a morning flight and only 3 hours gate-to-gate."

Pros: "Great selection of entertainment Good ground staff at Auckland check in Hospitable cabin crew Food was palatable"
Cons: "Although I had mistakenly arrived many hours early for my flight and traveled with the airline back and forth across the Pacific, ANZ personnel would not admit me to their lounge to wait in relative comfort."

Pros: "- Not a full flight, so empty seat next to me - Great in-flight entertainment - Great staff service"

Pros: "The seat and leg space, blankets and pillows. Good dinner and breakfast and great sleep between"
Cons: "Engine noise at times drowned out the sound system"

Cons: "I was not able to pay for excess luggage online because I was told that I had to do it 48 hours in advance. I did not know I need and extra bag until the day before i left. So instead of paying the 1 dollar promotional fee advertised online i have to pay 191 dollars at the airport. That is ridiclous."

Pros: "everything"
Cons: "nothing"

Pros: "Everything"
Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "Crew"
Cons: "Unclear check in counter"

Pros: "everythign aboht the trip was great"

Pros: "The staff was incredible. Additionally I loved all the entertainment options."
Cons: "We missed our connection flight slightly due to the fact that we weren't able to connect our baggage to British Airways and that the flight came in late."

Pros: "The staff were very kind. The amendies (pillow, blanket and headphones) were great. The airplane food and wine selection were nice."

Pros: "Comfy front row seat on Q300, quick trip"
Cons: "Nothing"

Pros: "Cabin attendants kind, friendly"

Pros: "Purchased an exit row aisle seat - all the leg room I could ask for. Close to toilets - no odor issues. Good meals. Staff basically courteous (though not unfailingly - occasionally a tad blunt and titchy - a common experience for me on Air NZ)."
Cons: "Air NZ website states exit row seating purchase comes with priority boarding. When I asked about this at the gate counter I was told I would be seated by row number. Seems like this is a common issue with Air NZ - see e.g., skytrax website reviews. The website advertising is inaccurate if not false."

Pros: "Extra leg room at front of plane."
Cons: "Seats too narrow."

Pros: "Getting on was a delight in Wellington. Having two set of doors open was great."
Cons: "Getting off in Auckland, only the front doors open so took what felt like ages to get off."

Pros: "Very helpful check-in staff helped me arrange to sit with a friend on the trip."
Cons: "My first seat had a broken entertainment system but I was quickly moved to a new seat."

Pros: "Free drinks!"

Pros: "Food Entertainment Charging port and powerpoint Service"
Cons: "Seats were ok but not great"
