Cons: "Business class seats not very long if you are tall. Western meal option is not really very western. Crew is a little too efficient- got woken up 90 minutes before landing to clear the mattresses. Lots of announcements- a bit too much. On time, and quick to respond to requests. Sake was good as was the ramen."

Cons: "I thought I had ordered a vegetarian meal when I booked the flight roughly 1.5 months prior to my trip. However, when the meal was being served, there was only a chicken or pork option and my vegetarian meal had either not been properly booked or had been forgotten. When I informed the staff, I was asked to show proof that I ordered a veggie meal. I could not pull up my email confirmation as we were flying and there was no internet access. I had to lug my bag out of the overhead and search for a print out confirmation. I had not come prepared with the "evidence" the stewardess wanted. While the staff tried to be polite, I also found them to be quite rude, demanding that I produce evidence. Could they not have simply given me an extra salad without all the fuss? I felt I was being treated as a criminal for requesting a veggie meal that had, unfortunately, not been recorded in their system."

When we arrived at Hong Kong, there was no wheelchair on the bridge, and after disembarking and being told to wait, it took 30 minutes for them to bring one. The ground staff kept trying to convince us to just walk which seemed very unprofessional."

Pros: "The overall service is great for the airfare price I paid. Can’t complaint! The new plane with central air control was a great idea; it was comfortable for the duration of the ride. That being said, I would definitely use Cathay Pacific again in the future for this price range."

Pros: "Flight was very smooth and pleasant. The entertainment was great with lots of choices. Premium economy seats on A350 was amazing. Very similar to Qants reganal business class on their 737. But how ever the seats on their A330 was average. But otherwise all was good. I would recommend Cathay."
Cons: "The food was very small portion and average in taste. The crew took a wile to take the trays and clear after all ate."

Pros: "Boarding and flight punctually. Boarding systematically. Crew members polite."

Pros: "My mother requires additional assistance for boarding (wheelchair for the ramp, a little extra time). Cathay adjusted our seats so we would be located reasonably near the doors yet close enough to the bathroom for her convenience. The stewards literally took her by the arm to help her to her seat, even taking her bags for her. And they made a point of checking on her several times during the flight. Absolutely amazing!"

They had me go to the airport 5 hours early to get a different flight cuz theirs was delayed then after not being able to make those flights carrying my 5 bags to 3 different terminals they said just go on their delayed flight and cuz they had over 80 people going on to Manila that they would hold the last flight there but when we landed we were informed going to a hotel and no compensation for it. I am extremely pissed off"

Pros: "Boarding was orderly and efficient, the polar opposite of the mad rush that can sometimes happen when cabin crew don't take charge of the boarding order. Crew were courteous and multilingual. Leg room felt a bit better than average for an international flight. Food was very tasty. The inflight entertainment selection and screen quality was excellent."
Cons: "They managed to run out of the Western breakfast option (which I did not want anyway, but many British tourists had to make do with yoghurt and fruit due to unfamiliarity with congee). The entertainment system is controlled by touchscreen only. An elegant solution that is simple to keep clean, but you get tired of holding your arm up at eye level."

Cons: "30 passengers on a 60 seat plane. We should have been spaced out due to the Coronavirus, but NO. We reallocated seats which had us all jammed up the front and back with rows of empty seats in between. Not good enough Qantas! I asked to change and the cery pleasant hostess said no we were NOT allowed. I do NOT understand this."

Pros: "The plane itself was nice and comfortable for me. The business class seat fully laid down, and there were lots of entertainment options. The flight was quick! 15hr flight from Melbourne to LAX only took 13 hours!"
Cons: "Several of the food items were either cold or overdone. I asked hostess what the deal was (because their food service is usually great) and she explained that in this new plane (Boeing 787) they removed a lot of the working areas for the crew. They have less space to work in order to be able to prepare food and drinks compared to Qantas's other planes (Airbus A380). This is also a brand new plane for this crew (literally the first flight for some for some of them), and they didn't know where some of the things on the plane were. I imagine after they've used the plane for a while and learn where everything is, they'll get better. I'll find out on the return flight back to Melbourne."

Pros: "Fantastic cabin crew and fantastic maître’d in the first class lounge at Melb International airport. Honestly the best service we have ever received from start to finish from Qantas. Thank youalso the vegetarian and vegan meals were great unlike previous years. Thanks again"

Pros: "The crew is always nice and approachable. The entertainment is usually high but this time around there weren't many good choices."
Cons: "The food is AWFUL, and has been getting worse as the years go on. Absolutely terrible taste, stomach-churning smells and gross consistency. During boarding I was profiled by one of your gate agents and "selected for further screening" ... not fun. No explanations, just surly, inattentive agents performing further checks on items that had already been twice-checked at security. Awful service."

Cons: "The soggy pies were a bit, well, soggy ... The changeover at Dubai seemed unnecessary. Having to go through security tho get from airside to airside was a bit daft. The crew gave little information on how that changeover was going to happen, and when they did it was just before landing."

Pros: "The interior of the seats a very nice. QANTAS blankets and cushions are comfortable. I also like the little drop down net under the seat for you feet to rest in. The QANTAS flight staff are great. I also like that they don't go down the aisle with trolleys a lot (just for the meals) and that they just come around with jug and cup for drinks."

Cons: "The only thing I found was the seat where I sat was a bit noisy. I had to have the sound on my movie turnd up loud to drown out emgine noise."

Pros: "Great selection of entertainment. Good pillows."
Cons: "They let us know by email little before departure that there would be a delay of 1h 15 min in our arrival to London. This made me uneasy from the very beginning that I would lose my London-Luxembourg flight. The crew in the boarding gate, only after much insisting, said they would make a note so that someone from Qantas would wait for me and help me get my London-Luxembourg flight no problem, but in the next stopovers (Melbourne, Dubai), there was no sign of this. Also, the delay in the end was 2h 20 min - and I lost my flight to Luxembourg."
