After booking through KAYAK for flights, the on-line check-in process was a nightmare with the KAYAK booking number not matching the information required by QANTAS. As my children were all spread over the plane, and two son's look very similar, a hostess almost did not serve one of my son's a meal as she believed my son had already received a meal further forward in the plane. Thankfully, upon checking, the hostess realised that it was a case of mistaken identity."

Cons: "First, the flight was delayed an hour and a half. No gate was announced until just before boarding. Afraid of missing my flight, I didn't doze even though I had been awake for 20 hours at this point. Once I got on the plane, the seats were so small in economy my hips were pressed against the arm rests and I am not a large person. The man next to me was pressing through over to my side. We both had difficulty opening the tray for meals because they were in the arm rests (not that it mattered, we were never served good). The controls for the entertainment and lights were in the arm rests as well and there was no way to see them because your thighs were pressed against them. The screen for my entertainment was crooked and flickered. The charging port did not work for my cell phone. The earphone jack had to be wiggled and wiggled and then I had to hold my leg perfectly still not to bump it. I eventually gave up trying to use the entertainment screen. I preordered my meal online, but waiting for dinner, already exhausted, I dozed off. I didn't get dinner and no one came around the rest of the trip and offered any refreshments. No water, no snack, nothing. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure I saw a crew member for the rest of the flight."

On board the crew (led by Brigita) could not have been better. I LOVE the 1 -2 - 1 business configuration. Meals and refreshments on board were just great and I enjoyed that the crew didn't disturb me (Emirates are particularly rude in this regard) when it was clear I was sleeping until descent."

Expect airlines that offer “full service” to offer something better for the price, also the fact that no fixed TVs or iPads and you have to use your phone to watch movies, at least get a phone holder on the back of the seat."

After 45mins and no mum, I asked staff where she was. They said they were waiting for me at the gate as they didn't have enough staff to bring her, and I couldn't take her walker through security, so I had to go there and pick her up (passing 4 staff members with golf carts just sitting and waiting). luckily she wasn't distressed, but when I got to her, the man at the desk was then told over the radio tthat he could bring her down... poorly organised. Not the end of the world, because she was okay, but it could have been really upsetting for her otherwise."

Missed the next flight and had to wait another 3.5 hours for the next flight, even after explaining the situation to a gentleman at the customer service desk, he said he could not help us, and gave my partner and i am $8 food voucher while we waited as a 'sorry'. Then on the way home another 30 min delay. horrible first experience flying, Was very disappointed in the customer service & missed my brothers wedding. I should have booked Qantas instead of Virgin."

It was something like this : Attention Attention please pull on your oxygen mask when it drops and place it firmly over your mouth and breathe calmly. About 5-10 minutes later another announcement that it was an error and a wrong button had been pushed. It certainly was the wrong button to push."

Cons: "I paid nearly $900 for a trip to Brisbane return. found that it was not what I expected. There was no lounge access. The only food available had to be paid for. They gave no water. I had to pay $4 for a cup of tea. I had to deal with immigration because the flight was international to Bali. Checkin place hard to find because of international flight for domestic destination. Signs misleading. Staff not friendly. Just want money."

Flight cancelled by carrier no viable options offered by phone representative held on the telephone for over an hour whilst travelling to airport in an attempt to get a flight home. Holiday cut short, had to return rental car 1/2 day earlier than what had been paid for, lunch reservations had to be cancelled and no responsibility accepted by Jetstar representative. Well they have definitely lost me as a customer, none of the companies I own would treat a customer in such a manner we believe that we NEED customers to stay in business. Then to top it all off had a hour and a half travel time from Bne as opposed to half an hour from Coolangatta."

Crew was not friendly - rude. A nine hour flight should provide food and drinks - complimentary. At the very least water should be provided. Boarding - they did not open the lounge area so everybody was sitting on the floor for a long period of time. Seating - crammed (narrow and we are small) Charge for entertainment - we were charged in advance for entertainment and then they provided free to all passengers - no mention of a refund for those that were incorrectly charged."

Pros: "This was my first time flying with Jetstar long distance. The experience was much better than my low expectations. It may have been partly because the seat next to me was empty so cramped seats were not a problem. The plane was the modern Dreamliner and the entertainment system kept me entertained."
Cons: "The inbound flight was heavily delayed and we left some 5 hours after our flight was scheduled."

Cons: "I booked a return flight from Brisbane to Sydney for a business meeting that only lasted a few hours. I flew in Domestic and when I tried checking in for the return flight they said I was booked on international and had to take a train to that terminal. When I arrived at the International terminal they then told me I needed a Passport or Australian ID. I only had Canadian ID as I didn't need anything other than my booking number to fly into Sydney. So they then book me back on a later flight home at the domestic terminal so then I had to take the train back to where I started from. The staff just looked at me like I was the stupid one through this circus."

Pros: "Nothing. Thought we had booked Qantas and got Jetstar"
Cons: "That the flight ran late That the menu is disgusting. Nothing fresh. No originaliry"

Cons: "We (I, my wife and son ) did not know our booking with no baggage. The woman asked me $100 baggage fee when we checked in. However, total weight with our three baggages is only about 30 Kg. Each baggage is accord to the carry on boarding rule. In fact, we only want to check in one baggage. But, she told me $50 per baggage. She cheat us. Buy 20 Kg baggage only need $24 in Jetstar internet."

Pros: "Nice new plane. On time. Infant travel cot can be checked for free."
Cons: "Turned up at the airport and they wanted $50 for the first 15 kg then $15 PER KILO for checked baggage. I had tried prepaying on my mobile phone and they wanted $50 plus a $25 service fee. Turns out if you use a laptop there is no additional $25 fee. Don't wait until you get to the airport to pay for checked baggage! Only free beverage is water. Soft drinks are charged for. No free pretzels or anything."

Pros: "I had a whole route to myself which was nice. Plane looked new and very clean. Fire economy I thought the seats were good and had ok legroom."
Cons: "If you don't buy good you get nothing. No crackers, no peanuts . I couldn't even get water and it was a 10 hour flight. Also make sure you buy a luggage allowance. I didn't see it listed on kayaks website but maybe it was there and I missed it. They wanted to charge me 25.00 per kilo for my luggage. That would have made the coast of my luggage twice that of the flight for me."

Pros: "The cheap fare was great, as was the ability to add what you wanted (luggage, food, etc.) The Boeing 787 was quite nice to fly on as well."
Cons: "By the same token, being asked to pay for almost everything has its drawbacks. A 9+ hour flight and no complimentary refreshments (not even water) is a bit absurd. There are things that, at a minimum, should come with a standard fare so being nickle and dimes over everything was a bit of a disappointment (I understand that this is Jetstar's business model, but not even offering water on that long of an international flight is just tacky)."

Pros: "The flight was excellent. The aircraft was clean and the ride smooth. We had bulkhead seats in the front of coach so lots of leg room. The extra money for these seats was well worth it."
Cons: "The entertainment system was very limited and the food was just above edible.You would be better off purchasing a meal in the terminal and bringing it aboard."

Cons: "We couldn't bring our own water on board, but that might be Aussie policy and not just jetstar. As far as luggage, just know you have to prebook how many kg of luggage you are bringing ahead of time or pay big bucks at the airport, luckily we knew"

Cons: "The made me pay $50 for my skateboard as checked luggage! Skateboarding is not a crime and I'm not a f ucking terrorist! If I was forewarned I could have pre paid and it would only have cost me $12. Either way, it's feking bullshite!"

Cons: "I booked baggage online when I booked my flight and it wasn't on my ticket causing the OUTRAGEOUS additional fee of 160.00! I feel completely scammed by your airline because I got told if I paid cash they would give me a "deal". What kind of deal is it when I already clicked a checked bag when I booked? Completely dishonest and no integrity company. As a foreign traveler, I felt completely lied to with zero options. I will NEVER book your airline again."

Cons: "I don't happy to change our flight. We have to arranged all the schedule,if jet star don't fly at that time please do not sell the tickets.(we book the flight at 21:10 changed to 18:15)"

Pros: "I didn't like anything"
Cons: "I used Kayak to book a flight through Jetstar Pacific. I've flown with Jetstar pacific before and am aware of having to pay extra for baggage. When purchasing my ticket using the Kayak App, I was never promoted to add baggage and assumed it was already added to the ticket price. Unfortunately, My boyfriend and I had to pay $160.00 for one checked bag, totalling $360.00 when checking in at the airport. The cost of our luggage was just as much as the flight itself. I was not impressed and will not be using kayak again."

Pros: "The service person in the check in and luggage drop off desk was very polite and helpful!"
Cons: "Boarding process seemed to be chaotic. Need to get it organized better."
