Plenty of leg room on the flight and the cabin staff were fantastic, only thing that let it down was the food choice, but, as it was only a 3 hour flight this wasn;t really a problem. The crew was not very friendly during the flight (I understand maybe they had a cranky passenger before and it was a long flight but smiling isnt that hard!). Inflight service was inconsistent as one side came down to serve 15minutes after the first side. The headphones looked quite dirty so I used my own. Boarding was quite slow and then takeoff was late but it was nice that the captain explained it."

Between departing international flight - picking up luggage/toilet stop and clearing Immigration/Customs then catching bus between Qantas international domestic terminals we were racing to catch flight. As we arrived Qantas domestic terminal our names were being called over along with info the plane was awaiting our arrival. In my experience 2hrs is minimum time between connecting flights - otherwise good experience."

Then on the way home another 30 min delay. horrible first experience flying, Was very disappointed in the customer service & missed my brothers wedding. I should have booked Qantas instead of Virgin."

Due to Australia's strict carry-on policy - one item, period - I had to repack my luggage, which contained a fragie printer that had been in my carry-on when I could have it AND a computer bag. The Jet Star allowed two checked pieces, and the agent gave me all the time I needed to make the changes. She then marked the bag fragile, and sent me to the oversize/fragile bay with it. It arrived in PNG rattled, but working normally.The woman was a peach!"

As upset as we were about that situation they were extremely accommodating. They said the Landon strip in Bali had broke so we couldn't land. They Bieber, gave us free coffee, tea and juices and gave us all free onboard entertainment. When we got to Melbourne they had set up free shuttle server and out us all up in a very very nice suite and gave us a voucher for breakfast which was more than enough! Then on our way back to bali they again gave us all free onboard entertainment. Very nice! Loved it!"

It's what you do with those mistakes will turn someone into a brand loyaltist or someone that will write a negative review such as this. 100% booking failure on my part. Fully admit it to. I had the right time, location and day of week. What was incorrect was the week of travel. I accidentally booked the following week instead of this week. Whoops. Mistakes happen. Immediately called airline ad notified of mistake. 40 minutes later they wanted to charge me $700+ in change fairs turning me into a person that leaves negative reviews as this is my first one in all of my time. I don't usually have time to do this because I am a CEO and constantly flying, educating, handling clients, personnel, etc that I feel I should be treated the Same way as I treat my customer. From an explatorory trip to Sydney and then Sunshine Coast to determine the next location of my company, i do know for fact that I will be flying quantis or Virgin if problem is not corrected. tim"

Had to repack quickly to get the things that had to be hand carried (CPAP's, cameras, medicines, etc.) into the backpacks and then got charged $28/bag for the 2 bags that should have been carry-on. Unimpressed."
