Cons: "Qantas left our luggage in Sydney. Once we were in Koh Samui it was up to Bangkok Airways to sort it out. The file reference we were given wasn't recognised by the Qantas website, the three phone numbers in Bangkok just gave a 'number disconnected' message and one was no answer. We had to cancel a planned event on day two and shop for clothes for a specific activity on day three. The only way to make contact with Qantas was via Instagram, Luggage did appear but so far no contact or apology from Qantas. We will not fly with Qantas again. Virgin Australia is our carrier of choice who outperform Qantas in every respect. This flight was gifted so we had no choice."

The crew was not very friendly during the flight (I understand maybe they had a cranky passenger before and it was a long flight but smiling isnt that hard!). Inflight service was inconsistent as one side came down to serve 15minutes after the first side. The headphones looked quite dirty so I used my own. Boarding was quite slow and then takeoff was late but it was nice that the captain explained it."

In my experience 2hrs is minimum time between connecting flights - otherwise good experience."

Pros: "We have travelled a few times by Qantas because we come from Australia. Their planes are safe. Our plane got delayed ( and this is not the first time we have had this with Qantas), and then we missed our connecting flight. The ground staff were not helpful at all. Our connecting flight was with LAn airlines and LAN were very cooperative and gave us another later flight though they were not obligated to do so. Qantas are generally too much by the book and things always go wrong. I still use them but it is a risk that I need to consider more next time. LAN/Latam helped us out because they are more customer oriented. Anyway, good luck"

Cons: "The flight was delayed by 4 1/2 hours and it was handled horribly. First, I had to wait at check-in for 1 hour despite having checked in online. Next, we were told hourly-wise to check-in at the gate to find out when our flight would leave. This was a hassle and caused me a lot of stress since I had to make new plans with a new itinerary for my arrival in Chile where I was supposed to meet my elderly parents. The staff kept telling me they didn't know when we'd leave asking me to check back four times before they were able to give me a definite time. Aweful experience that caused me a lot of stress and inconvenience."

Scl is crazy airport — 20 minute wait for gate ramp when we got there (still 20 minutes early, instead of 40! On a 60-minute scheduled flight!). Huge long walk to immigration. Pretty long wait for bags. But it all worked out fine."

Cons: "It seems LATAM changed the way they charge fees in July. The ticket for my return trip included no allowance for checked bags, and that detail wasn't obvious on my reservation information. Imagine my surprise when I check-in for an international flight and I'm told I can't check any luggage because it isn't included on my ticket. I ended up paying $210 to check two bags. Also expect to pay a bit more for decent seat assignments. My default seat assignment was at the very back of the plane, right against the rear bulkhead where seats often can't recline. So, another $60 to move elsewhere."

The plane is a beauty, silent, smooth, but when you flight in tight seat, with a minimal reclination, it all goes to the trash. Good entertainment service, modern, but the missed a few movies they should have."

Cons: "We flew Latam to go snowboarding in Argentina. The moment we arrived at the desk to check in, it was chaos. We waited in line for almost 2 hours to check in. When we got to Buenos Aires, our snowboard bags had not made it on the flight. Having to deal with Latam agents who hardly spoke English and were not helpful at all was intensity frustrating. Our bags finally got to our destination 2 days later. We had to drive to the airport to pick them up because they were not going to deliver them for another day, so we would have been 3 days without our snowboard gear. Latam did nothing to compensate us for the days lost no did they even seem to care. This is one of the most frustrating companies I have ever dealt with. I booked a return flight on Delta and lost $1000 just so I don’t have to deal with Latam again. Any money you save on a flight is not worth having to deal with this company. Stick with reliable American-based companies with customer service that is up to American standards."

I've flown to Europe with various international flight companies and LATAM has equaled such but what put it above others was the personal attention when I had a problem with luggage. In Lima, Peru there was a connection and an attendant named Sebastian went the extra mile contacting luggage handlers with his cell phone to ensure my bag was recovered and waiting at the gate of my connecting flight en route to Buenos Aires. Cons: "My original flight was supposed to land at 8:55pm but I was notified that it had been changed to land closer to midnight which was a problem because my hotel closed at midnight. After talking to the customer service agent at the airport he told me the reason my flight had changed was because my original airplane was flying out of another airport and the only way to make the flight that I had booked was to take a cab ride to the other airport. What he didn't explain was that its a 45+ minute drive between the two airports and I only had about 1.5 hours to get my bag, get on the taxi, check in at the other airport, clear security AND customs. Somehow by the grace of god it all came together but it was certainly a harrowing experience, not to mention the $45 I lost in cab fares. I cannot recommend LAN/LATAM."

Cons: "PHL-Lisbon plane left 3 hours late due to CATERING problem. Seats were uncomfortable and food was awful. Lights and entertainment controls at my seat didn’t work."

Cons: "The flight was delayed by three hours. I missed the following flight. American Airlines ground staff in Dallas (with the exception of one person) were terrible as the refused to help me get a new flight (since the flight was ticketed on BA). They also said the delay with American Eagle had nothing to do with them. I lost my one and only upgrade because of this and had to spend the night in Dallas. American Airlines are terrible."

Cons: "The food is very tasty, but AA has not changed the menu in at least one year."

Cons: "Your airline charges a significant amount for what is to be an upgraded seating experience. What a huge disappointment. Same number of seats as basic economy, same seat size as basic economy, no separation of any sort for the rest of economy main cabin. Will never fly American international again."

There was a flight delay out of Iquitos due to fog, causing us to miss our next connection in Lima to Cusco but the staff in Iquitos made sure we got on the next plane with new tickets and luggage transferred to the right plane. Naturally, we were disappointed with several hours of delay due to safety but were pleased with the service in resolving our concerns. There was no entertainment available on this trip ever through there was a screen for each seat."

The U tied wing was amazing. Your prices are great but to keep ppl from rather paying more just for one or two more luxuries, try fixing this."

Cons: "Me cambiaron de asiento arbitrariamente, yo hice check in 24 horas antes para escoger los asientos que me acomodaban a mí y mi acompañante de 12 años ( los primeros) y resulta que por un cambio de avión me dieron los últimos al lado del baño. Lo que fue horrible, el olor, los pasajeros haciendo fila al lado de mi asiento todo el tiempo, sin poder descansar o estar tranquila. Comprendo que pueden haber descompuestos en el avión y cambiarlo por otro pero al menos al re asignar asientos deberían ver los lugares iniciales que tenía cada uno y no dejar a quienes habían solicitado con anticipación los primeros en el último, literalmente en los últimos puestos. Además la comida es bastante mala."

Cons: "The seats are so very narrow that having extra legroom doesn't really matter - only a child or a very, very thin person will find these seats anywhere near adequate. Food (which went flying or falling into my lap as I tried to eat without elbowing my neighbor) was laughably bad, even the crew said they were embarrassed to be serving it. On that note, the crew did not seem happy with the airline, and agreed that economy on the 788 is one of the worst cabins they fly. Entertainment options were good, but when the person in front of you reclines, so does the screen, so if you want to stay more upright you can't really see the screen well. By far one of the worst economy experiences I have ever had. I will go out of my way to chose alternate routes in the future, even going via MIA to avoid the 788."

Pros: "Captain was like a tour guide, gave us info about what we were flying over and kept us super up to date on all info."
Cons: "Seat in front distance. Granted I'm over 6 feet tall but sucks to have to pay $50 just to be slightly comfortable. Then in the aisle getting bumped all the time with people going by. Got rammed by the flight attendant cart, wasn't very fun. Left a nice bruise on my shin."

Cons: "The international terminal at LAX is terrible as far as people being on hand or being able to offer assistance on getting to your next connecting flight. Getting 30 minutes to make a connecting flight that is on the other side of the airport with noone being able to tell you where your connecting flight is is almost impossible. The in-flight entertainment console was broken and was unusable during the flight. It would work for 5 minutes then glitch and the screen would flash until you stowed it away and waited 10 minutes to try again."

Cons: "Had to cancel my trip due to family illness. But, not acceptable to United for a refund. And wants to charge me as much as a new ticket to save my ticket. Why penalize me for a sick relative? Unbelievable! And very disappointing."

On a commercial on one flight, during the spiel about safety, the movie screen showed about 5 or 6 cabin attendants putting up their trays in prep for landing. Tey all leaned forward as far as they could to reach their trays. I looked around. I could reach my tray with my arms at my sides. If the actual airplane had had it'w seats spaced apart as in the movie, the plane would have been fully loaded with some 35 passengers. I forgot what airline it was, maybe yours?"

The main issue was that when I purchased my ticket throughout Kayak YOU NEVER SPECIFIED THAT I SHOULD CHECK MY BAGS 45 MINUTES EARLY OR I WOULD LOOSE MY FLIGHT. YOUR LACK OF CLEAR INSTRUCTION SCREWED UP MY TRIP"

We then arrived late, which extremely rushed my already super tight transfer in LAX and cause a lot of stress and frustration with the airline."

Tried to reschedule my flight, to do so is a cost of $200 not including the price difference in having to buy a new ticket. May not be flying United anymore"

Pros: "My whole experience was easy and comfortable. A big thank you to the woman who helped me check in at the United kiosk in Sydney. She saw that I was struggling and assisted me until completion. The flight was uneventful, which is really good! I also had the entire row to myself which gave me room to spread out for the 13 hour flight. Great experience:)"
Cons: "The food was probably the weakest part of my flight from Sydney to Los Angeles. The eggs had no taste. I'd prefer a simple oatmeal or cereal for breakfast."

Pros: "It was a crowded flight home, I knew that when I checked in online. I was forced to check my bag plane-side...to be picked up at baggage claim upon our arrival. Inconvenient to say the least. The crew announced there was in-flight wi-fi {available for purchase, of course} only to come back on and apologize that the wi-fi was down for this flight. The crew did do beverage service, but never made it to the last three rows of passengers. Overall, just not the type of customer service I am used to from other airlines. I chose this flight based on the price. I don't think I'll chose United again in the near future."

Cons: "My first flight was delayed 2 hours due to a ground stop at the next airport. Upon finally boarding the plane for a second time, we sat at the Albany airport for abou 40 minutes. When arriving to the Newark airport, there was communication issues and no way for us to get to a terminal so we were stuck on that plane for 2 hours. While stuck on the plane my connecting flight got delayed twice then cancelled. Once finally in the airport, I waited an hour in line for customer service only to tell me they couldn't even put me up in a hotel because it was air traffic controls fault, even though NO other airline was down. They gave me a $10 food voucher, apparently that would fix everything. I had to put myself in a $130 hotel room and being a broke college student I wasn't expecting that. I will never fly united again, it was he worst experience I've ever had and one of the most stressful days. This airline is horrible."

Cons: "It was just my wife and myself and we didn't even get to seat together. They want extra for being able to select your seat in advance. Food was terrible. Seats recline probably 2" at the top of the backrest so no comfort there at all."
