Virgin canceled my initial flight which was frustrating
Breakfast mushrooms were good.
No butter for breakfast roll.
One of the crew members, Jodee Gray, assisted me when I was feeling faint (to the point of requiring supplemental oxygen while over the middle of the Pacific). I am a healthcare provider myself and she knew exactly how to handle the situation properly and professionally. I can't say how grateful I am to Ms. Gray. She really does deserve some kind of commendation for her excellence and kindness.

It was not clear at the time of booking that baggage was not included, causing delays and confusing at the airport.

Flight departed late, which was annoying when it was scheduled to leave at 8:05 am on a clear day.
Flight was delayed. Entertainment, movies wasn't that great for long haul flight. They could have included more interesting movies.

Boarding was quick and the crew was very pleasant.
I noticed duct tape repairs on the chair in front of me. Also the armrest between my partner and my chair was broken and wouldn't stay up. The food was average. I've noticed a huge decline in food quality from 4 years ago. Also the airline's choice to serve stinky fish on a plane was questionable.
The service was great. Flight got delayed a day, but everyone was well taken care of in spite of the situation. During the flight the staff was attentive and courteous. I'd definitely fly with Qantas again.
The fact that the flight was delayed, but that was to no fault of the staff. I'd definitely let that slide.
