Cons: "30 passengers on a 60 seat plane. We should have been spaced out due to the Coronavirus, but NO. We reallocated seats which had us all jammed up the front and back with rows of empty seats in between. Not good enough Qantas! I asked to change and the cery pleasant hostess said no we were NOT allowed. I do NOT understand this."

I asked hostess what the deal was (because their food service is usually great) and she explained that in this new plane (Boeing 787) they removed a lot of the working areas for the crew. They have less space to work in order to be able to prepare food and drinks compared to Qantas's other planes (Airbus A380). This is also a brand new plane for this crew (literally the first flight for some for some of them), and they didn't know where some of the things on the plane were. I imagine after they've used the plane for a while and learn where everything is, they'll get better. I'll find out on the return flight back to Melbourne."

I am a frequent traveler ( 10 flights in 6 weeks) and have never experienced such charges for baggage. It was not clear at the time of purchase that there were different levels of tickets. The agents at the counter was only interested in maximizing the fees we were charged and not helping us with other options. The plane was late and there was very limited seating in the waiting area, so most people stood for the extra 40 minutes of the delay."

Once we reached the gate with only minutes to spare Jetstar brought out a scale and decided it was time to weight the carry on luggage, anything over 7kg then had to be checked, no opportunity to move items into the bags already check that we had already paid for. Any refreshments on the plane had to be purchased seperately, cheap as!! This experience just felt like they were trying to take your money at every turn. Treat the service like a taxi, point A to point B only and KNOW THIER RULES before you show up otherwise the will screw you over."

The journey didn’t start well when our bags would not scan through the self serve checkin as we had not booked direct with Jetstar. We then asked for an aisle seat, but this was refused - the “customer service” assistant advised we should have paid extra to pre-reserve a seat (a no cost option on Qantas). Then when we entered the plane we found that both adjacent aisle seats were in fact vacant. Food was an additional cost item - on an 8 hour flight. Those unlucky enough to ask for a meal late found that there was nothing left for them. Entertainment was also an additional cost item - when paid for the selection was extremely limited, the system slow. The entertainment froze up requiring a reboot. Though not the airline’s fault, the person behind was very fidgety, making it very uncomfortable for anyone sitting in front of him. If the seats were slightly further apart we might not have had that experience either. All in all not the best, given that we had booked with a full price airline and ended up on a budget airline instead."

Cons: "Hardly any staff, we had to load & check in our own bags. The mechanical baggage belt was initially not working so the lines of people waiting grew. There was no-one to explain what we had to do so we only printed our boarding passes, and didnt realise we had to ALSO print baggage labels, so we consequently lost our place in the queue. NOT HAPPY!"

Cons: "The flight was delayed It is a 7+ hour flight I think you could offer some snacks and coffee or tea for free At least one good movie for free Every airline I've chosen to fly with does it but Jetstar It was quite disappointing"

Cons: "First time on a domestic airline in Australia, I read the information which appeared to say you could bring a 7 kg carry on item and a computer bag and a women could bring a small purse. When we checked in my wife's purse and my laptop in bag were all added as additional weight. So we were forced to pay additional excess weight charges of $50."

Pros: "Due to storms a 1 1/2 hour delay which is understandable until I found a friend on Qantas left on time. Delay on all Jetstar to Sydney and that afternoon but unaccountably Qantas mostly in time."

Pros: "I didn't get to fly as I had 3 brain surgeries in NY in May last year and I got sick and couldn't fly so I rang and no one could help me save the tickets so I'm very disappointed and won't use this app again. I have used this app so many times flying to America and back to Tasmania and this is how I was treated after 4 phone calls begging for help as it was the first trip my son and I were going alone as I hadn't seen him for two years. Qantas paid for my airfares to come home after surgery and I'll stay with them from now on"

Cons: "Flight delayed out of Adelaide. Terminal 4 at Tullamarine is badly designed - drop of/fpick up long way from booking in and gates long way from booking in area. Disembarking on to tarmac in pouring rain unpleasant - no umbrellas"

Cons: "plane was half hour late leaving because JetStar does not allow enough time for turn arounds from plane arriving from elsewhere. That said, the pilot did do his best to catch up for lost time once in the air."

Cons: "Flight was delayed by 35mins. Seats very crowded, we all had to get out of our seats to let the window passenger in and out. No screens on seat backs, lucky I had my iPad and could listen to podcasts in the 3+hr flight."

Pros: "Crew were friendly and cheerful."
Cons: "Crew were not aware I had a starter plus package which included a food voucher. This often happens with Jetstar and is annoying when you have paid for the extras. Also flight was delayed and I had to make a connecting flight. Would have been good if crew ensured people did not straggle when boarding with the appropriate announcements."
