I'm 6'2" and had good leg room in coach. The food was decent and the boarding process went pretty smoothly. Each seat had a power outlet below it (kinda out of sight). Overall my flight was pretty good.

The entrainment system was a little bit older semi touch screen (no usb charger). Air china was similar to China Eastern as they demanded all cell phones stay off for the duration of the flight. No WIFi was available for purchase.

All the stewards were so friendly and helpful. The facilities were very well serviced and so you forget that the plane was 100% full, despite long queues to the toilets. I would fly again with Qatar Air for sure.

LCD was not touch screen and was extremely difficult to work with . I couldn't scape from an accidental menu which I was dropped in games and missed whole flight to enjoy something in LCD .

When checking in in Shenyang, the China southern airline rep kept asking me about my expired passport, even after I showed them the new passport I was holding is to replace the expired one (the expired passport number is showing on the 3rd page of the new passport). Rep says the ticket is linked to the expired passport. I don't know how this happened as I waited until I got my new passport in NY to book the trip on justfly.com, and no one asked about it when I travelled to China.

The remote control of the TV is not sensitive- very often I have to press twice, movie (the Martian) image quality is poor. The map application is not useful -- not able to zoom in and out, not able to display entire trip view etc. (buttons are available, but when I click on it, nothing happens). Boarding is a big hassle. It is a big plane, but requires bus services to take people from the gate to the plane, it has a 2-stories stair to go up, ppl had to carry their luggages up.

All the Air Team Crew were really friendly. On the first connection to from Nairobi to Dubai, I sat next to a fellow passenger who was nervous about the moderate turbulance that we hit. At the end of the flight, as we waited to disembark, a lovely Attendant stood next to us and we had the most warm friendly conversation I've ever had in all my years of flying. She made us feel like friends as she gave us an insight into her 'high flying' lifestyle while being professional. Unfortunately I can't remember her name as I would have loved to give her a special mention but she was so lovely.

I didn't have much to dislike but I do recall not being woken up for a meal even though I had my sticker on the top of my chair. I was sitting on an aisle seat. Other than that, this was my first flight with emirates and it was truly awesome!

I like the flight route

This is my fourth time booking Emirates for my route through kayak. The route is longer but I choose it for on-board Internet for work emails. Generally, they have on-board WiFi Internet, however for my return route of 21 hours both flights had no wifi which was disappointing. This is unprofessional because if you are planning on having WiFi to respond to work emails and it is not available once you are already in the air there is nothing you could do but get stuck. Never does this happen with Lufthansa, Turkish, Etihad. Disappointing.

Hi, I would like to file for a full refund for the flight which I purchased. Upon arriving at the ticketing counter at LAX, I was denied my boarding pass with the reason that I needed a transit visa. I did not need a transit visa as I hold a Malaysian passport. The ticketing agent was being unprofessional and told me to walk to the Eva air counter to purchase another ticket if I so desperately want to leave. I purchased a business class ticket and was being treated really rudely. I have contacted Air China customer service but they are not responsive or helpful in any way. I showed them the China embassy website stating that I do not need a transit visa and they called me the next day saying they are willing to reschedule my flight for another $700. I would like a full refund for the ticket I purchased. Thanks, Sue

After long, chaotic lines to transfer planes in Beijing to head to Shenzhen I was showing my passport to the security guard, and suddenly he calls for someone, and another guard walks away with my passport. I had no idea what was going on. I wasn't told to follow him, but he had my passport, so I followed the guard to get my passport back, and the guard hands me my passport, laughs, and points upward. I walk upstairs and see a mess of lines. A bunch of flights were canceled due to a small storm. The machines to rebook a flight were broken, so I had to wait in a line for 2+ hours in order to rebook a flight for the following day. We were told that there would be a complimentary hotel, but I waited in a line for an hour to inquire about a hotel room, only to be told where my luggage was. They could have held up a sign saying where everyone's luggage was, instead of misleading us, saying it was a line for a hotel room. My suitcase was in a pile of suitcases from all the flights that were canceled, and was difficult to find. After spending 6 hours at the airport sorting out new travel plans, I ended up with no place to sleep, but fortunately found a friend of a friend to stay with. The next day, I arrived at the airport for my new flight, with no seat assignment. I waited in a long line to get a seat, then went to board the plane, and the flight was delayed 3 hours. Overall, it took 34 hours to arrive in Shenzhen after leaving San Francisco. If I had automatic updates sent to my email, or, if there was signage at the airport giving people information, that would have been helpful for the crowds of confused people. I also might have had a chance to reroute my flight Hong Kong to get in earlier, but I had no idea what was going on. There was terrible communication that was not due to a language barrier.

I don't think I could have got the flight at all had I not spoke Chinese. None of the other foreign nationals were able to get a new flight. The flight they put on back home had to stop in Hawaii and cost me a good extra 8 hours. I got home 12 hours later than I had anticipated. I am filing for compensation. What a joke. Air China shouldn't even both with international flights if all their domestic flights are delayed and they are barely able to help customers speaking their native language (to say nothing of English).

Flight delayed over 40 hours, in China! Nothing anyone can do about it. Totally got screwed by Air Gina. Almost missed the wedding I was officiating. Worse part is that Kayak has no customer service number to call for help. Never again. If that wasn't enough, they lost a bag on my return flight. Pay the extra money and get treated like a human being.

Although I felt Qatar responded poorly to the cancelled flight, the actual flying experience was wonderful and made me forget about the extreme inconvenience and poor customer service regarding the cancelled flight.

My flight got cancelled ten minutes before boarding. Workers gathered phone numbers and told us they would call to direct us a new flight. However, no calls were ever made. I had to call the airline multiple times to get an answer about a new flight. In my first call, the customer service was rude. There was also zero compensation for the inconvenience.

When we were on the plane they didn't even tell us the flight was going to be delayed, we just sat on the plane for an hour twiddling our thumbs. We couldn't use out phones, all I wanted to do is listen to music I already have save to my phone. The food was horrible.

I'm 6'2" and had good leg room in coach. The food was decent and the boarding process went pretty smoothly. Each seat had a power outlet below it (kinda out of sight). Overall my flight was pretty good.

The entrainment system was a little bit older semi touch screen (no usb charger). Air china was similar to China Eastern as they demanded all cell phones stay off for the duration of the flight. No WIFi was available for purchase.

Nothing.

The flight was delayed so late that I missed my international connecting flight home despite leaving a four hour gap. The inflight service was pathetic. The food was atrocious, the media system was broken, there was not wifi, and they did not allow the use of cellphones the entire duration of the flight even in airplane mode. The ground staff was completely unhelpful. I was barely able to secure an alternative flight home after about a half hour of negotiating. I don't think I could have got the flight at all had I not spoke Chinese. None of the other foreign nationals were able to get a new flight. The flight they put on back home had to stop in Hawaii and cost me a good extra 8 hours. I got home 12 hours later than I had anticipated. I am filing for compensation. What a joke. Air China shouldn't even both with international flights if all their domestic flights are delayed and they are barely able to help customers speaking their native language (to say nothing of English).

Excellent service

The plane is accessed by bus from the gate, and pretty far away. The stairs to the plane are not handicap accessible.

Good service, crew members are very helpful & the canine is clean

The remote control of the TV is not sensitive- very often I have to press twice, movie (the Martian) image quality is poor. The map application is not useful -- not able to zoom in and out, not able to display entire trip view etc. (buttons are available, but when I click on it, nothing happens). Boarding is a big hassle. It is a big plane, but requires bus services to take people from the gate to the plane, it has a 2-stories stair to go up, ppl had to carry their luggages up.

Missed our connection and China southern airlines would not help us get another flight unless we payed for the change fees in cash Worst airline Never fly them again I had 5 business class seats and they were not helpful Got stuck in Malaysia with young children and had to fly another airline to get back to America

That I got on the flight. That it was cheap.

That every single southern china air flight was delayed, which nearly caused me to miss my other flights on the way back. When we were on the plane they didn't even tell us the flight was going to be delayed, we just sat on the plane for an hour twiddling our thumbs. No reasons given, will not flight southern china again
