The train is a quick and easy route to the centre, but the stations are usually located on the outskirts of the city, so you will likely need to take a taxi from the train station to your accommodation. You also have the option of taking a sherut, or shared taxi, to Tel Aviv centre from the airport. These are minibuses that take up to 10 people and can be found outside Arrivals on Level G. They will drop you at your doorstep.
The airport has installed ear-loop systems at check-in counters, security check counters, boarding gates, passport control counters, information counters and lost & found counters. There are also accessible toilets and phones, and there are multiple ramps and lifts throughout the airport.
There are several foreign currency exchange bureaus located at the airport. Any of the Bank Ha'Poalim counters will exchange currency and there is also a bureau de change located in baggage reclaim between carousels 6 and 7. Another one is also to be found next to the information counter on the eastern side of the arrivals hall.
There are several reputable car rental companies including Avis, Europcar and Hertz, which are located in the arrivals hall on the first floor of T3. It is a good idea to book online and then collect the keys from the company desks, after which you will be directed to where your rental car is parked.
There is a complimentary shuttle service that transfers passengers between terminals, the schedule for which can be seen at the bus station – it changes regularly according to traffic congestion. At T3 the bus station is located on Level G and at T1 the bus station is located outside, opposite Gate 4.
Shuttle Bus 485 runs from Ben Gurion Airport into Jerusalem on a daily basis from Saturday evening until Friday afternoon, when the service stops for Shabbat. Pick-up from Ben Gurion is outside the arrivals area of T3 and the ticket costs around ILS16 (approximately AUD6) one way. The bus drops passengers off at the Central Bus Station in Jerusalem.

Mostly fine. Minor delays departing and arriving. Quite a cramped plane, not so much as regards legroom but very narrow seats. Quiet nice food. Non-working USB charger. Flight attendants were helpful but not particularly proactive — one had to work to get their attention (but all was fine once they notice you), very Dutch style:)
The plane was clean and the staff was friendly. Food and drinks as expected on international flights. The entertainment system was old style, with a pullout controller, and selections not as extensive as on other flights.
