Cons: "Mid night snack can be improved, it’s too small a portion."
Pros: "Friendly, helpful, attentive crew; good amount of storage in business class; very good food with an excellent variety."
Pros: "Crew was prompt and courteous Entertainment choice was good"
Cons: "1. The seat width is small for comfortable sleeping 2. Choice of non-Japanese food can be enhanced 3. Flight boarding was delayed beyond announced delayed departure also"
Pros: "Zero"
Cons: "Asked specifically at the ticketing counter not to be seated in a non-emergency row. Were seated in an emergency row. For a 12 hour flight with seats that don't recline and nothing the on-board staff could do about the ticket counter's negligence and bad faith other than apologize. Seated upright for an overnight flight (for the second time on the same trip) for 12 hours. Not a pleasant experience. Had a feeling ANA would be bush league. This trip confirmed those suspicions. It wasn't the crew's fault (though they, unfortunately bore the brunt of my displeasure) so much as the counter's fault, but airlines charging what they are shouldn't be putting passengers or crew in this position. The ticket counter folks literally mislead us. They specifically told us that these were not emergency row seats and that we would have reclining seats and seatback displays in front of us like everyone else. The entire reason I asked is because we got stuck in the last row on the way in with seats that don't recline, which blows for a 12 hour red-eye flight. Instead we got seats that did not recline and a fold out screen that came from the right-hand arm rest. Not the end of the world if one had no choice, but certainly not what I paid for and certainly not what the ticketing counter people stated we were getting (under specific inquiry about the very point). The ticketing counter in particular seems to be skeevy, at best. To the detriment of their own crew, who is left apologizing for things they can do nothing about. As stated, this is a bush league international carrier. Avoid unless you love sleepless nights crossing the international dateline..."
Cons: "Seats are almost impossible to sit comfortably for such a long flight. Not nearly enough legroom."
Pros: "Service, staff, and food were all above-average as compared to other companies with whom I've flown"
Cons: "Spacing was a little bit cramped, and side-to-side leg-room was so cramped that my neighbor fell asleep, spread his legs and suddenly had no where to escape. Made sleeping difficult/impossible."
Pros: "very clean over a 9 hr flight , great seat and flight attendant"
Pros: "From start to Finish from ticketing to baggage claim we received Premier Customer Service !!!!!"
Pros: "Been flying with ANA ever since I started living in Japan, and it has always been a pleasure. No complaints whatsoever."
Cons: "No problems."
Pros: "The quality of your aircraft. Clean, modern, plenty of leg room."
Cons: "The "meal" served about 1.5 hours after takeoff was just a very light snack. Nothing substantial. Could have been more food."
Pros: "The whole Business experience on SQ"
Cons: "During the same trip I discovered 2 different arrangements of the Business Class cabin on Singapore Airlines A350, SQ469 CMB-SIN, and SQ036 SIN-LAX. On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me."
Pros: "Spacious Premium Economy seats with excellent flight attendants looking after general wellness of customers."
Cons: "In-Flight Wi-Fi has archaic plans… 30MB Chat App-only Plan for 2-Hours. It also usually has a pause button to halt and resume the internet session later, but there wasn’t one this time."
Pros: "Overall, the staff was amazing, so as the food and cleanliness"
Cons: "The space between the seats in economic seat"
Pros: "Staff was great as usual"
Cons: "Many entertainment monitors including my row of seats were stuck for a while. The “please fasten your seatbelt” was on the screen and made the monitor unusable for the first 1hr of the flight"
Pros: "Yes and yes"
Cons: "Not sure because I have never had a better experience."
Cons: "WiFi didn’t work on 3 of the 4 flights although all purportedly had it. Also didn’t work the majority of the time in the Business Class Lounge in Singapore. Food was mediocre both on flights and in the lounge. Movie selection could hardly have been worse."
Pros: "Cabin crew was excellent and the premium economy seat was very comfortable and accommodating. The choice of food from the variety menu was also delicious."
Pros: "The seats were comfortable and the staff was very attendant!"
Cons: "No complaints"
Pros: "(Previous PE comparisons: Turkish AL, Air NZ, SAS) Ease of check-in, on-time dep/arr, crew attention and responsiveness, seating within the range to be expected of this class."
Cons: "Plane condition: Cosmetic plastic panel below monitor and seat back pocket on Seat 31E fell off when foot rest was lowered; had previously been secured by adhesive tape. Panel removed by crew. In-flight entertainment system: Persistent intermittent loss of sound while listening to movie or TV program. Food: Tried to use "Book the Cook" feature touted by Singapore's website. Was unable to get on site for that purpose. The last try a message appeared (late September) that site was being "rebuilt." On the flight, there was no menu of choices; we were offered 3 vaguely worded choices which boiled down to beef, chicken or vegetables. Those appeared in not particularly appetizing forms and combinations--P.S., we like east and southeast Asian cooking and had just spent 3 weeks in Japan. Failure to provide information about possible delays due to WRG deplaning location at LAX: Although we are frequent fliers to and from LAX, we'd never heard of the WRG. It would have been helpful if the crew had informed us upon arrival that there could possibly be a wait on the plane as buses were used to transport us approximately 1/2 mile to TBIT. Generally: We chose Singapore because of its reputation for excellence. Belying the name of the class, both Turkish AL and Air NZ treated Premium Economy passengers as "junior" business class. Singapore treated us as coach with a roomier cabin and seating pitch."
Pros: "Friendly Staff. Very nice Meet and Greet Comfortable travel. Meals were tasty."
Pros: "Swap my two reviews! This one is for the flight going to London when I had the Skycouch! That was fabulous."
Cons: "Nothing."
Pros: "The seats are comfortable enough even in the economy class. The crew is attentive. Entertainment is great, lots of movies and music."
Pros: "The food in Premium Economy was good and there are plenty of movies to choose from. The staff were lovely."
Cons: "I had paid for Premium Economy and was seated in Row 30. The passengers were boarded up to row 28, then from to back of the plane forward then I was boarded with the last remaining passengers. That was not what I feel should have happened. I did not like the footrest on the seats."
Pros: "Great crew, great food, spacious and nice. Great experience overall."
Pros: "I liked that there was food available and that they offered complimentary snacks and drinks. Some of the crew members were nice and offered good service. I liked that they offered some type of entertainment and free wifi."
Cons: "I didn't like that some of the crew members were not very nice. I also disliked that some of the crew members drove the food/beverage cart violently through the isles and saw as one of the crew members rammed into another person's leg, to only say "oh sorry" and kept on going. This same crew member missed picking up the trash from an entire row and was throwing trash on the floor. She was more interested in caring for a baby on board (not sure if it was her daughter or family member) than the rest of the passengers. I also didn't like the seats were so close to each other, the person in front of me almost hit my face when he reclined his seat all the way back. There wasn't much room to breath let alone stretch."
Cons: "For the $s paid for this flight the crew could be a little bit friendlier and having a smile on their face."
Pros: "Was a little more leg room... makes all the difference"
Cons: "Was pretfy much Ok"
Cons: "I was not given a chance to make a seat assignment on the Alaska legs between Seattle and LA and ended up being stuck in a middle seat going both ways. There, was no option during booking to make a,seat selection. This was also true for the LA to Auckland outbound leg. This is an area needing improvenent."
Pros: "Seats were comfortable, bathrooms were good."
Cons: "Food was not good. No vegetable choice unless you had prearranged. Breakfast was just ok."
Cons: "Unlike other international flights, Air New Zealand only allows 1 check in luggage per person instead of 2. Most other international airlines allow 2 check in luggage. But otherwise it was good and the service was ok, not as much food selection as other airlines but the crew are very nice and the airline is very clean."
Seats were not comfortable and touch free remote wasn’t working.
The crew here was rarely around. They walked by fast to collect trash and I felt like they didnt want to be bothered. I kept getting skipped for coffee/tea service.
Restrooms weren’t working properly. Food choices were too exotic.
Flight delayed by an hoir or more. Food service is slow. Also, the crew is not following up on orders. Travelled in business class and was a platinum member, but still didn't receive the expected service .
Pros: "I couldn’t eat the chicken for lunch, and I told the crew to change it for me and bring the vegetarian, but nobody brought anything. I was starving until the next meal."
Cons: "Take out the chicken sausage from your menu"
Cons: "Just had a hard time finding flight attendants. Every time I went to the back of the plane, half a dozen of them were sitting around and chatting it up. Felt guilty for asking for water. Not the service that I expected from Qatar Airways. All 4 flights were a struggle to get proper service."
Cons: "The seats are smaller than other airlines. My entertainment system stopped working mid-flight on a 16 hour flight from Doha to LAX.Food portion is not enough. No hot towels on boarding, no welcome drink or snacks. Food is served only twice on a 16 hour flight.Rude immigration officers"
Pros: "Excellent service with attention to detail"
Cons: "lay-flat seats fairly uncomfortable in the lay-flat position (does not compare to the Q Suite used on newer aircraft) Entertainment system a bit dated, but decent selection"
Pros: "I liked that the flight was not full and I was able to use the entire row of seats and lie down as straight as possible to get some sleep. The crew was very friendly and allowed us to sleep most of the flight --- I guess they figured that most of the travelers prefer to just sleep and not be disturbed during a 15-hour flight. There was a good selection of movies and shows to watch to pass the time. I liked that there was time to go on the city tour of Doha and that there is a counter at the airport for the city tour."
Cons: "My flight started in Kathmandu and the layover for the connecting flight from Doha to LAX was 12 hours. I hope Qatar can come up with a schedule that will reduce the layover down to less hours while still giving passengers time to go on the city tour, if they want to."
Pros: "Great crew and food served was nice for airline food."
Cons: "You need to bring a snack with you. This is a 16 hour flight and there is a long time between their food services. 2 meals and one snach"
Cons: "The most uncomfortable experience ever! I was disturbed and/or woken up several times, during flight, by the flight attendances to place my seat in the upright position to accommodate the person sitting behind me who either wanted to drink alcoholic beverages every hour on the hour."
Pros: "Boarding was quick."
Cons: "Flight was not comfortable, when seats are pushed back, there is no leg room left. Entertainment system and contents both were poor. Flight delayed by 4 hours."
Pros: "Food and entertainment were great. Enough space to be comfortable. Crew was nice and attentive."
Pros: "Generous & kind flight crew, lots of in-flight entertainment, and a smooth and timely flight."
Cons: "I was seated in business class - the attendant gave my special order food to another guest and gave me something else instead. I could have gotten very ill from this, and notified the flight attendant who shrugged it off and walked off."
Pros: "This flight is extremely long, but very enjoyable when flying with Qantas. They have everything, from snacks and drinks in the back of the plane to coming by pretty often to give you food. I was never hungry or upset wth the service."
Cons: "nothing I didn’t like!"
Pros: "Food on Qantas is better than domestic U.S. carriers and it's nice to still experience good service."
Cons: "It is frustrating that most airlines never leave on time anymore. They should be required to pay each passenger $50 for every 15 minutes they are late. It's also terrible that seats have become so cramped. My biggest fear is to drop something at my feet because then I can never reach it. Sigh."
Pros: "The entire staff was wonderful and friendly!! Dennis Byrne & Marie Byrne"
Cons: "We had a delay as they could not get the lift for food to put onto the plane, so we were delayed 1 hour. Dennis Byrne & Marie Byrne"
Cons: "Flight delayed by 2 hours so I missed my connecting flight home. Had to wait at LA airport for 8 hours to catch another flight. Flight to sydney on August 26th was also 2 hours late leaving LA. My experience is not good."
Cons: "Terrible procedures in Sidney and Los-Angeles with uncertainty, broken schedule , chaos and wasting passengers' time."
