I was excited to come back to the USA after a long vacation. When we arrived at the airport, the security started asking me questions immediately even before I checked in. They demanded I show them the ticket before it was even printed. When I explained that I was trying to check-in for the first time. They told me I was going to be reviewed upstairs and put a sticker in my passport. I proceeded to check in and just walked thru the normal security measures. After scanning my bags in security, I discovered there was no security meeting and proceeded to my gate. After the gate, everyone in line was subjected to a second security screen. This was a manual search and all articles were removed and repacked again. Then we proceeded to the plane entry where everyone needed to verify passport and ticket again. Later in the flight, I was having indigestion problem from my documented medical acid reflux problem and asked for a cup of water. He said sure and walked away. He never came back again.10 minutes later, I pressed the attendant call button again. 10 minutes later and no one came over. 15 minutes after that Albert came back over and said, "I see you have your call light on, please put your seat back up again." I can complied and he immediately turned off the light and walked away. 10 minutes later, Albert came by with the water cart and parked it right behind my seat. He proceeded to hand out water to everyone behind my seat. 30 minutes later the water cart arrived and I finally received my water (75 minutes after I asked!) Thanks Albert, I'll be following up with your management to see that disciplinary action is taken.

I have been traveling at least 4 times in a year for last 20 years. I never had such a worst staff specially the Msnager of Fiji airline ground staff at Sydney airport named Christopher. Such a rude ignorant person. The amount of luggage including baby stroller I traveled from Los Angeles to Nadi. Nadi to Sydney was perfectly fine. When I checkin from Sydney to los angles, the Fiji manager said you have to pay for stroller. I said I came all the way from Los Angeles to Sydney like that and I even showed the tags too, Christopher said Sydney has different policy. I left the stroller to him and Saud to him keep it for your kids and came back home without baby stroller.

i like the movies selection , dinner meal which was sweet and sour fish .

They don’t offer meals for people who aren’t beef or pork eaters . Although they had a fish meal the breakfast did not have that option.

The flights themselves were good and the crew members were attentive to requests.

The worst part was my departure flight was delayed a full 24 hours due to the airline combining two flights to ensure max capacity on board. No concessions were given and unfortunately I lost out on a whole day of my vacation, so beware if you book on Phillipine Airlines, you may not receive the flight dates which were originally booked.

Nothing really

Food needs to be improved, really not that great , the ice cream in biz class wasn’t even hagaan Daz , some cheap chinese brand , the entertainment was so so the seats weren’t even comfortable for biz class, when parking at the terminal they did not open the door in 1st class so it was tough to get out

Virgin Australia lost my bag when I arrived at airport 3 hours before flight and a direct flight with NO connection. Only explanation for that is someone at the airline screwed up. They didn't deliver my bag for 2 days.

Tried to make up for lunch with getting first choice for breakfast.

I was in the last row of the plane and found myself treated like essentially second class citizens due to being in the back, as we did not get any selection for the first meal service, and there werent enough hot snacks ready when they got to us so they had to make new ones which took an extra ten minutes. (By the time the snack was served it was long after meal service too, so we were already quite hungry). It just made for an annoying experience feeling like because we were at the back, we had to just take what we were given. They could make more of an effort to make sure ALL passengers are treated well.

Food and entertainment we're solid. Creature comforts we're solid for economy international (toothbrush, blanket, socks, and sleep mask.)

Never got an e-ticket until the night before outbound flight. Combined with the airline's outsourced customer service, lack of record keeping, and mediocre customer service skills on both sides of the Pacific, boarding was a traumatic experience. Never booking another international flight through Kayak, nor flying Hong Kong Airlines again. Domestic may not be totally out though.

Felt like a brand new Airbus. Roomy seats even in economy. Excellent service! A full meal unlike most American airlines. Polite, expedient service. I will fly Hong Kong Airlines again!

Having to repack our bags when the total among the three of us flying was within limits. And then still having to pay an extra $60 US. when we didn't get it quite right by about 2 ks. However you did let my wife's wheelchair on without payment thanks for that. I am an ex pilot so it is difficult for your staff to try and explain weight ratios, and the dangers of extra weight.. Then being made to take 1 point something kilos into another lighter bag. However the staff were very good about it. not their fault that they find themselves having to talk through something that just doesn't ad up. However we enjoyed the flight, and the help we received transferring from a very late plane to one almost waiting in Fiji. :-)

with 39 passengers on a 60 persons flight the following annoncement came up: we need 5 volunteers or we leave 524kg of baggage we have to leave here. Than the locals started to bribe the personel... we have no idea if and when our stuff arrives...

planes seats dirty chewing gums stuck on seats talking of entertainment not everyone will prefer to watch what is being played there arw children and elderly thats needs to be considered

Friendly helpful staff. Loved the leg from Nandi to Auckland.

Having to repack our bags when the total among the three of us flying was within limits. And then still having to pay an extra $60 US. when we didn't get it quite right by about 2 ks. However you did let my wife's wheelchair on without payment thanks for that. I am an ex pilot so it is difficult for your staff to try and explain weight ratios, and the dangers of extra weight.. Then being made to take 1 point something kilos into another lighter bag. However the staff were very good about it. not their fault that they find themselves having to talk through something that just doesn't ad up. However we enjoyed the flight, and the help we received transferring from a very late plane to one almost waiting in Fiji. :-)

I have been traveling at least 4 times in a year for last 20 years. I never had such a worst staff specially the Msnager of Fiji airline ground staff at Sydney airport named Christopher. Such a rude ignorant person. The amount of luggage including baby stroller I traveled from Los Angeles to Nadi. Nadi to Sydney was perfectly fine. When I checkin from Sydney to los angles, the Fiji manager said you have to pay for stroller. I said I came all the way from Los Angeles to Sydney like that and I even showed the tags too, Christopher said Sydney has different policy. I left the stroller to him and Saud to him keep it for your kids and came back home without baby stroller.

I didn't like that my gate and terminal numbers were changed so many times. It messed up the meeting of family. Also I really hate that there is not much leg room.

There was no clear indication that we were not allowed to check any bags. We had to check 2 bags at $230. Not impressed wth how this went. I’ll be booking direct next time.
