  • Which airlines offer comfortable service for economy passengers flying direct to Bali?

There are many airlines offering direct flights to Bali to choose from, but for travellers who want to fly economy but also want to maximise their comfort during the flight, Qantas and Garuda both offer full in-flight service with a choice of meals and entertainment options. On closer comparison, Garuda is frequently rated as more comfortable overall, with more legroom and seat comfort. Qantas, on the other hand, has an outstanding safety record, which can be comforting for nervous or anxious fliers.

  • Which terminal do flights from Sydney to Bali depart from?

Terminal 1 serves all international flights at Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport (SYD), and no matter which airline you choose to fly with, this will be your departure terminal. Fortunately, there is a complimentary T-Bus shuttle service that connects all three terminals.

  • How can I travel from Denpasar Airport to my final destination in Bali?

There are very few public transport options from Denpasar Airport to further destinations in Bali. In fact, there is really only the bus, which is very cheap but not very comfortable or quick. Another popular option is taking a taxi, but you should be careful to avoid touts and make sure your ride is metered. Hiring a vehicle is also quite a straightforward option, and agencies such as Pengedapan Taxi (which, despite the name, is actually a car hire firm) and Sewah Mobil, located in the arrival hall, can arrange for you to hire a car, motorbike or moped depending on your needs and preferences.

  • How does KAYAK find such low prices on flights from Sydney to Bali?

KAYAK is a travel search engine. That means we look across the web to find the best prices we can find for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from Sydney to Bali.

  • How does KAYAK's flight Price Forecast tool help me choose the right time to buy my flight ticket from Sydney to Bali?

KAYAK’s flight Price Forecast tool uses historical data to determine whether the price for a flight to Bali from Sydney is likely to change within 7 days, so travelers know whether to wait or book now.

  • What is the Hacker Fare option on flights from Sydney to Bali?

Hacker Fares allow you to combine one-way tickets in order to save you money over a traditional return ticket. You could then fly to Bali with an airline and back to Sydney with another airline.

  • What is KAYAK's "flexible dates" feature and why should I care when looking for a flight from Sydney to Bali?

Sometimes travel dates aren't set in stone. If your preferred travel dates have some wiggle room, flexible dates will show you all the options when flying to Bali from Sydney up to 3 days before/after your preferred dates. You can then pick the flights that suit you best.

Excellent customer service from pre boarding to the end. Really enjoyed my flight. Very helpful crews during flight as well. Will definitely flight with Singapore airlines again.

Pros: "Flat bed is wide and comfortable. Cabin crew was excellent."
Pros: "Crew very attentive but not intrusive. Food very good."
Cons: "I did not find much to watch on entertainment system. Have to get crew to assemble flat bed, a bit of a nuisance. Also to turn it back into a chair."
Cons: "Having boarded at SYD, during the Canberra stop, we were all required to disembarked. It was a loaded flight so the process was slow"
Pros: "Ok boarding, plane was new, entertainment system was up to date"
Cons: "Premium economy service is even worse than economy as crew is never around and busy in economy. Seats are bigger but not really comfortable. Food is same as economy. Doesn't worth it to buy premium economy."
Pros: "crew were very friendly and helpful. flight was one of the best i’ve had"
Cons: "boarding at sydney was very confusing"
Pros: "Crew were very good. Cabin was also much better than Qantas premium economy cabin."
Cons: "Had premium economy seat. Not the most comfortable on the tailbone for some reason."
Pros: "The crew was great as usual. The food was good"
Cons: "Better seats - really uncomfortable with a packed plane and wailing infants even when seated quite a few rows away."
Pros: "Cabin crew was excellent and the premium economy seat was very comfortable and accommodating. The choice of food from the variety menu was also delicious."
Pros: "Nothing."
Cons: "Food was terrible , crew were rude, there were delays due to airline problems at both ends of the flight, there was a complete lack of communication about the problems and how long the delays were going to be. Handling of missed connections was abysmal... Overall extremely disappointing."

Everything went smooth. All flights were on time No changing gates, . No changing flights . It was like a completely different airlines tha n the last time I used Cathay Pacific . The last flight, 2 months ago, I had before this one was from Philippines also . I got changed in Manila and was told it only added 2 hours onto my flight . My 20 hour return trip ended up being 30 hours return with a 10.0 hour layover in New York with no seats anywhere . Everyone was sleeping or sitting on the floor . Unlike the hotel I was given in Manila to wait for this flight home . I never thought I would use Cathay Pacific again . But I did and this time you were great! I should have complained about the flight and layover from Hell a couple months ago. Consider that I am complaining about that august/23 flight now . Thank you got the great flying experience on my way home from philippines .

We requested special assistance and Cathay Pacific provided it in Sydney, but we were completely forgotten about in Hong Kong - when we really needed the help to catch our connecting flight. Really disappointing service.

Pros: "Seat was comfortable. Crew was not too attentive and kept forgetting to serve me food"
Cons: "Crew should be attentive to ALL passengers."
Pros: "Crew are very kind and seat are fabulous as i was able to sleep since i dont have a seat meate :-)"
Pros: "Entertainment system is nice with recent movies and many other selections."
Cons: "I found my pillowcase has a long human hair. And noticed the same in the other pillows around my seat. Also, the tray table has a few spots of food stain. One of the toilets, the hinge of the toilet seat is broken"
Cons: "This airline will cancel your flight and blame it on customs in the US - the truth is the flight was undersold and they did not want to travel with so few passengers."
Pros: "Seats were ok on par with other airlines. Food served was good."
Cons: "More leg space."
Pros: "Crew on leg from Melbourne to Hong Kong terrible - Hong Kong to Boston good"
Cons: "Put a Priority tag on our luggage; Have the Pasta meal for someone sitting in the second row of Premium Economy and then let me eat the economy meal that you substituted instead of interrupting me four times to give me the Premium Economy meal that you said you didn't have. Use a plane other than th"
Pros: "Flight attendant was very kind and helpful. I was very tired and was feeling a little under the weather. She checked in with me frequently throughout the flight to make sure I was well, brought me hot water to sip on, and just made sure I was as comfortable as possible. My regret is that I didn’t catch her name."
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "Friendly service on time flight"
Cons: "Boarding for premium economy had no special boarding. We were forced to stay in a long long line even though we paid almost double the fair with premium economy. All our other flights we got earlier boarding. There was no explanation given when I asked"
Pros: "Everything was marvelous. The staff, food, and entertainment were excellent just like on our flight with Qantas from Vancouver to Sydney."
Cons: "Nothing."
Pros: "Flight attendants super sweet and really paid attention to any needs. Comfy seats, lots of movies to choose from and a tasty breakfast."
Cons: "Seats are too small, uncomfortable. We had a 50 minute delay in departure."
Pros: "The crew was very friendly and professional. The aircraft was clean and well maintained. Food and entertainment were great."
Cons: "Completely satisfied."
Cons: "Unfortunately the flight could not be shorter. Otherwise a perfect flight, and well worth the price."
Pros: "The flight is short, it was on time, boarding process was swift."
Cons: "There was one flight attendant with attitude problems but if you ignore her, she would stop it. No big issue."
Pros: "Quantas Entertainment app was great!"
Cons: "Quantas seems to have frequent gate changes. You have to pay attention. No WiFi in terminals despite posted signs."
Cons: "unable to get assigned seat ahead of time. the only seat available was in the middle, getting uncomfortable to getting in and out. Economy on upper deck has only one bathroom that I leave the imagination up to you."
Pros: "Boarding was quick."
Cons: "Flight was not comfortable, when seats are pushed back, there is no leg room left. Entertainment system and contents both were poor. Flight delayed by 4 hours."
Pros: "Food and entertainment were great. Enough space to be comfortable. Crew was nice and attentive."

The checkin was unacceptable. Agent took about 3-5 min minutes with me, standing in front of her, and not in acknowledging my presence. Finally, when she started processing my check in as a priority passenger, she neglected to give me a lounge pass until I reminded her . when I went to the lounge, they didn’t have me registered. However, the agent there still accepted me Did not tag my luggage as priority, so I had to wait until almost the very end before my luggage appeared. My Wi-Fi as premier elite did not work. This was not a good start to my lengthy flight.

Free wifi or cheaper wifi rate will be better. Or upgrade your entertainment system.

Pros: "The crew was very helpful, provided ear plugs as needed. One passenger on our row was very demanding and the crew accommodated his request for drinks, etc. The tray for 44C was inclined, the food tray kept sliding. The crew tho had a solution, adding a magazine to prevent he slide. Food was good."
Cons: "Service of beer was always delayed, seems that certain food carts carry beer cans."
Pros: "No issues. New aircraft! Better than the trip from Manila to Sydney"
Cons: "Nothing comes to mind"
Pros: "None!!!!!!! Because i pay for my seat assignment and they give me the wrong seat and they say no refunds because they cannot allocate the seat assignment that i bought."
Cons: "They have should have a refund policy and they should have hire more profesional when in comes to customer service."
Pros: "From comfort to customer service was perfect. Filipina Flight Attendants are the best, always so professional and with a beautiful smile."
Cons: "Airport is not very well organized. Airline is ok but crew did not show the importance of addressing customer service. We paid for choice seats but others got the same without paying. We should have been allowed to move to wider leg room seats since we paid."
Cons: "I do hope the cabin crews would smile more to let the passengers know they are happy to serve."
Pros: "the airline I've heard is habitualy late. It was on this flight."
Cons: "Food was barely passable and coffee tasted like toasted wood."
Pros: "Crew was cold but quite busy."
Cons: "Checking in was very slow and boarding process was very poor!"

no charging point. food offering is limited and very much on the budget line. Overall is not satisfying for such a price and duration of flight.

We were delayed, but there was never any update given. Everyone was standing at the gate as boarding was supposed to commence at 13:10 for a 13:55 flight. We didn't actually start getting on the shuttles to the plane, until after 14:00. No updates, no information given at all.

Me and my Partner were in seats 6A and 6B. (Which we paid a premium for). Unfortunately the person is seat 6C was large and because of his size my Partner was squashed to the point of discomfort and unable to sit properly. We requested to be moved to some empty seats and two hours into the flight the crew moved us. Perhaps it’s time airlines began checking passenger sizes to ensure they don’t encroach into fellow passengers seating space!

Pros: "The crew was excellent, especially the stewardesses."
Cons: "Their wifi service is ridiculously expensive $32 and it doesn't work."
Cons: "arrived one hour before flight, all counter staff had disappeared. On-line check-in was not available as an option, could not get checked in and as a result missed my flight"
Pros: "The crew were super patient (a must when dealing with the quality of passengers from Trichy who were lacking in manners and etiquette)."
Cons: "Boarding was chaotic. The majority of passengers seem to not be used to the normal manners and etiquette of queuing and it was chaotic with pushing. Some discipline and order needs to be enforced by ground crew (and this will no doubt make the cabin crews' lives easier)."
Pros: "Crew were good."
Cons: "I paid for priority boarding but could not find the queue easily to check in as well as there was no priority boarding line up during boarding. My seat did not decline at all. I paid for a window seat but got a completely blank wall. Flights were late."
Pros: "Nothing. We had to sit on the runway for an 1 hour 40 mins. Staff didn’t even give away water, you had to purchase it... outrageous"
Pros: "Not sure if I have much trust in the crew. Most of the female crew would walk past passengers who had their seats reclined or in the toilets and other situations and wouldn’t notice (during take off and landing) and the guy would come past later and do her job for them. Ground staff in Bangkok"
Pros: "Friendly crew. Toilets kept clean. Nice ambience with the cabin lighting."
Cons: "My seat had a broken recliner button. Seat would recline but not stay reclined. If I sat up, seat would come up with me."
