Check in was easy once we prepaid for our luggage ahead of time.
Did not even get a glass of water on plane. People get dehydrated flying, Jetstar should always offer water. The flight attendant was very picky, I could not leave my thin fleece tied around my waist.

I was excited to come back to the USA after a long vacation. When we arrived at the airport, the security started asking me questions immediately even before I checked in. They demanded I show them the ticket before it was even printed. When I explained that I was trying to check-in for the first time. They told me I was going to be reviewed upstairs and put a sticker in my passport. I proceeded to check in and just walked thru the normal security measures. After scanning my bags in security, I discovered there was no security meeting and proceeded to my gate. After the gate, everyone in line was subjected to a second security screen. This was a manual search and all articles were removed and repacked again. Then we proceeded to the plane entry where everyone needed to verify passport and ticket again. Later in the flight, I was having indigestion problem from my documented medical acid reflux problem and asked for a cup of water. He said sure and walked away. He never came back again.10 minutes later, I pressed the attendant call button again. 10 minutes later and no one came over. 15 minutes after that Albert came back over and said, "I see you have your call light on, please put your seat back up again." I can complied and he immediately turned off the light and walked away. 10 minutes later, Albert came by with the water cart and parked it right behind my seat. He proceeded to hand out water to everyone behind my seat. 30 minutes later the water cart arrived and I finally received my water (75 minutes after I asked!) Thanks Albert, I'll be following up with your management to see that disciplinary action is taken.

planes seats dirty chewing gums stuck on seats talking of entertainment not everyone will prefer to watch what is being played there arw children and elderly thats needs to be considered
They canceled my flight without an email confirmation. I went to the airport to find out it was canceled then to get an email now asking how my flight was when I couldn’t go. It was a pan just to even call about getting seats prior to and they had a hard time finding my itinerary. They even took 210 for th cancelation. Had to book with another airline for following day
Comfortable seats and wide array of movies plus free WiFi. Very good service as well.
Poor communication on boarding process and on the flight delay. And bad WiFi near the boarding gate.

Very comfortable seat in the exit row and entertainment to choose from offered a wide variety of current and older movies, I was very impressed and will for sure book through China Eastern for my next flight to Hong Kong next month

I didn't realise I was going to be in such a poor airline after booking through the Singapore Airlines website. There was hardly any space, food options were limited, there was no entertainment, they even charged for water! Equal worst airline with jetstar
Crew were professional, friendly and efficient. Aircraft was clean in the cabin and in good serviced condition. Check in Staff were efficient, friendly and professional.
Seating configuration in economy very small. My Husband is a tall, big man and was cramped by the seat pitch, which made his trip very uncomfortable. To think that we have to pay for such an essential item to life as WATER, when it is free on most other airlines....or at the very least you can get a glass of water. I couldn’t believe the charge price for a tiny bottle of water and the fact that you can’t even get a glass of water either. This is an outrage and a rip off to customers.
Overweight person next to me kept coming into my seat space. Impossible to sleep well with a stranger bumping into me frequently. I had the window seat.
The A330 used on the HKG-NRT route was a bit old and out dated.

Food and entertainment we're solid. Creature comforts we're solid for economy international (toothbrush, blanket, socks, and sleep mask.)
Never got an e-ticket until the night before outbound flight. Combined with the airline's outsourced customer service, lack of record keeping, and mediocre customer service skills on both sides of the Pacific, boarding was a traumatic experience. Never booking another international flight through Kayak, nor flying Hong Kong Airlines again. Domestic may not be totally out though.

The terms and conditions say that you are not permitted outside food or drinks, but none are provided. Phones are not permitted and there is no entertainment system in lieu of this.
My flight was 2 hours late causing me to lose my connection ticket. This, because your crew did not do a proper pre-flight check and notice the emergency lighting was failing. Poor maintenance leads to tragedy and unneeded lateness. Making the cabin 16 degrees for 8 hours may sell rental blankets, but it makes people sick as well. Shame on you.
I had the fattish person next to me who had most of his body in my seat.

Checking in seemed long, snacks or meals weren't available unless prearranged at an additional cost....scheduled connecting flight to catarman, very long wait in amundane terminal lacking enough seating....suggesting that both airlines,PAL & Cebu Pacific coordinate flights better to cut down layover time in the inadequate Clark terminal.
Why do we have to pay for the smallest snacks? On a 4 hour flight??

Baording is always a cattle call, they attempt to go by rows this time but still a mess of crowding and shoving. The gate announced boarding and everyone jumped, then they tried to refuse those in line making it even worse. Poor gate agents!!! Then as always they blame manila teaffic for delays....so irritating. Almost an hour late...no reason it was sunny at both airports and this schedule is set weeks ahead and they still claim heavy traffic..ridiculous
Prompt boarding, friendly service, decent food, plentiful entertainment. Singapore Airlines was a great choice for my flight from Texas to England.
Food was less than marginal
Same as my trip to Japan. Crew was great, boarding was easy, seats were pretty comfortable, food was great, and entertainment awesome. Gave socks and toothbrush amenities, along with the normal pillow and blanket.
It felt a tad bit hot in the plane. No personal vents to adjust to one's own desire.

There was not as much legroom as I would have liked. We had Asian Veg meals which were a little bit too much the same each time.

It's a budget flight so can't expect much, yet the aircraft was small very cold and not comfortable for such long-over-ocean-international flight.
i didn't receive my bags for days after despite being stranded in the airport even though China Southern has a free hotel policy for layovers more than 8 hours.
Last minute wanted to check our luggage as the plane was boarding and almost caused us to miss our flight. Flight crew unhelpful and not friendly

No towels in shower. Not very clean. Information desk not very helpful. No one to book sleeping cubicles—-very confusing

Old aircraft with seats in very bad conditions.
Disembarking.... No gate so had to get bus to shuttle to terminal... 1 bus for nearly 1000 passengers.... Took nearly 90 minutes to get off plane.
Food: Japanese fried chicken was soggy. Economy space is cramped, and stuck next to a guy who invaded into my space and guy in front leant his seat back. Overnight flight but couldn't sleep when it was so cramped (when usually I can without problem on other flights)

one check-in crew (female) at gate was not very nice. My mom is disabled & in her personal wheelchair. The other check-in crew members told us (5 total) to go together to board the plane then this female staff told us we can only have one family member go in with my mom (to take care of the wheelchair then assist her on the plane) next time we board the plane. Their messages are inconsistent & her attitude was uncalled for, especially when she let other disabled passengers on with their more than one family members & the other Asiana staff members told us to go in at the same time.
on-plane flight operation is very good
back-office support is very poor. for example they sent me an email before the departure date in Korean only.

I've flown to Korea many times and this was the most turbulence I've ever had. The choice of moves wasn't good.

It was cancelled. There was no proactive communication from Kayak or Asiana about the situation. We had to cancel and rebook ourselves.
No onboard entertainment
At least, they let me know the first delay but no further information was given to the 2nd delay. Also, neither the ground not on board staff seemed to be interested in Passagiers. Was a short flight interrupted by diverse visual ads and PRs..
They changed my seat without telling me and the new seat has a faulty video monitor and also a faulty USB port.. no compensation received.. terrible airline

Because of an accident at Manila, all flights were delayed. This can happen, but the information provided by ground staff was far below standard. I assume they have procedures in place to inform passengers, and to make any estimations and guidance on what to do next. Absolutely no courtesy for passengers with connecting flights with different airliners. Usually, MH is a professional organisation, but this was an all time low in their service. Sorry.
He is cheating telling normal taxi cant for two adualt and three chalidren to buy taket for double price for min bus or van , that person in charge is laieing and not respecting i hope to take acsing because they are the face of malysia visitor and i think no boday will except cheating even for one ringet . If ur in economy and westerner, seats are tiny. I went biz class and seats are old, food just ok, stewardesses just ok. Movies are Vina iPad mini and the headphones are the old foam style and you can’t hear the movie well. If u want to be pampered with champagne, great food, etc., go elsewhere. If u just want to get from point a to point b, this is the airline for you
The flights themselves were good and the crew members were attentive to requests.
The worst part was my departure flight was delayed a full 24 hours due to the airline combining two flights to ensure max capacity on board. No concessions were given and unfortunately I lost out on a whole day of my vacation, so beware if you book on Phillipine Airlines, you may not receive the flight dates which were originally booked.

Exactly what we expected. No entertainment no food
Everything went well and was as advertised. This is a low cost carrier so their business model relies on extra charges for everything. Prepaid my luggage for $19 each way and decided not to order any food (much cheaper at the airport anyway). People just have to be aware that low cost carriers like Jetstar can offer such affordable fares by excluding many things. Qantas would have been approximately 2x as expensive per flight and would have included more things, but the appeal of low cost is to be able to choose what you need.

Main complaints are with other Rude passengers, kicking seats, failing to return seats upright during meal times. Cramped space and no offer to move to available seats. Food was poor quality on this flight. Such a difference from our flight on same airline to China
