Pros: It was an "average" flight
Cons: Food sent me and others to the bathroom---not good
Pros: The plane made no unscheduled landings.
Cons: The extreme delay that caused me to nearly miss my connection with Air China, the incredibly low level of English spoken on a flight originated in the US, and the complete dismissal of three cabin crew members when I asked about arrangements to be expedited to our connecting flight to Bangkok. Avoid this airline completely, and if at all possible, transiting through Beijing Capital Airport.
Pros: The crew we're very nice
Cons: I had to run through Beijing airport because I had 45 minutes for connecting flight-----gate was very far from arriving gate. I am at Bangkok airport now waiting on 2 pieces of lost luggage. Food was not good.
Pros: It was a very cheap flight, so flying the family back to NZ from the UK, for what we paid, it was great.
Cons: Plane food was quite average, on the first flight LHR-PEK flight the plane was a bit old and the entertainment system was nearly shot, but the second flight PEK-ALK was a dream liner, which was fantastic. For the price we paid, there was nothing we could complain about, would definitely flay again.
Pros: Crew was great again.
Cons: I had 0 options for entertainment on the flight from NYC to Beijing. No Wi-fy and the TVs in my section of seats didn't work.
Cons: Seats were very tight
Cons: Problems with changing the boarding gate sinage!
Cons: Definetely not the class or finess of a virgin flight! Half a cut ham sandwich... and water only due to short flight time. I’ve flown MANY times on the virgin aircraft. Service was much better! Won’t be booking a aliance flight anytime soon
Cons: Crew asking borderline rude questions, e.g., didn’t you hear...
Pros: The actual flight on Virgin Australia was great! The comfort level for economy was especially surprising and very nice.
Cons: The transfer in between flights was very hectic and they couldn't find my ticket on my Delta transfer. This happened because they e-mailed the week before trying to change my itinerary but then clearly didn't let Delta know so there was definitely confusion and I missed my original transfer. That aspect was frustrating, but the flight itself was LOVELY.
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car hires can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us,
please send us an email and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
