The booking experience was bad. Our six character booking ID number disappeared the day before the flight, We could not find out what happened or what was the status of our flight, scheduled for the next day. We finally found the right number to contact Singapore Airlines on the matter (not easy). The Singapore agent worked through the issue in a little over thirty minutes on the phone, the day before the flight. That was great. I'm very happy with Singapore Airlines and their performance. Contact with a competent person on the matter was near impossible. It seems no one in business these days wants to deal with customers once they've pocketed the money. There were resellers, including Kayak, involved in the chain. When we finally got through to Underpricer, we did get a return call that could have proved helpful. But by that time the matter had been resolved by the Singapore agent. Majestic Vacations, the reseller who received the payment was less than worthless. That's just a fast buck operation. Ugh.

It was a middle of the night changeover, so we were all ready for sleep. Staff were helpful and managed a few hours sleep. Food options were good.

Could not really fault anything. We had a really short time between flights (about 45 mins), and had to get across the other side of the terminal. But we made it and crew were helpful. Food was good and service for the kids was great.

Excellent- a lot of food Disappointed with the premium economy pouch- did not have toothbrush and tooth paste or socks. Other airlines provide them

On time, friendly staff and decent food. Would definitely recommend.

A 16 hour flight from Singapore to Los Angeles had only 2 meals. Please make it 3 meals.

Once again the meal served was delicious - we got chicken rice

The flight was very late, sitting on the plane for over an hour and missed our connecting flight from Singapore to LA. As senior citizens, we were rerouted to Copenhagen and then to LA. They should not do this to senior citizens. They should have given us a hotel voucher for a night, then catch a flight to LA the next day. Singapore Airlines should grant us some kind of credit for the next trip, if they want us to fly with them. I doubt if we will ever hear from them.

They bumped us up. They overbooked the flight and we hurried to the next flight. We are a family of 5 with 13, 10 , and 6 year olds kids. Everybody was running to the next flight. We never been exhausted in our flights hust like we have experienced this week. Mismanagement in scoot and kayak.

Such amazing service! Wonderful flight attendants who actually care about the passengers and go out of their way to make our journey easier!!

They asked how much cash i have . I said no cash they said bring cash from atm . Why they even care about my cash.

Flight was scheduled to depart at 1210 hrs. It was delayed 1 hour 20 minutes (maybe for air traffic control reasons). The seats were worn out and very uncomfortable. Lunch was typical for airline. Flight free were friendly.

Pros: "Na"
Cons: "Over one and an half hours delay - sitting on the airplane"
Pros: "Lots of movie options, the food was good (had multiple food dish options for each meal)"
Pros: "Good and pleasant service, new plane very clean including regular WC cleanups"
Cons: "Boarding could have been done in groups"
Pros: "I would like to never fly through China again"
Cons: "I had a 9 hour layover in Beijing and they still couldn’t get my bag on the plane to Seattle"
Pros: "Everything was great, service on flight was really nice."
Cons: "Transferring suitcases between 3 flights was not great, with security check etc. Would fly with them again. Anytime, no hesitation."
Pros: "I had a very bad experience on checking in. I went to check in at Beijing Capital airport over 1 hour (about at least 65-70 minutes) earlier than the time of taking off on Nov. 2, However, I wasn’t allowed to check in. The staff said I was late and asked me to spend extra $200 to reschedule my flight. Therefore I had to spend $200 on changing my flight to next day on November 3, which was one day late back to Boston than I expected. That’s too bad and incredible!"
Cons: "There are a couple of things need to be improved. First of all, the food were not fresh, especially the salad dish. In mean dish, the beef cooked with too much dark source and tasted salty. Hope you could improve the food quality near future! Secondly, the luggages came out too late. All passengers had waited for their luggages for more than 1hour, which was really too long. Please consider about the concerns! Thanks!"
Pros: "New aircraft used like their 787-800s"
Cons: "Since Hainan is a Chinese airline, a lot Ig Ygritte move and music choices are Chinese, but I wish they had more non-Chinese content and choices"

Crew: Everybody was polite. People just need to get efficient and less reworking things. Entertainment: Could have move movies and games. The “music” section is a joke, only ONE available. Food: The food provided on the flights boarding in china needs a serious reworking. Too much oil, bad for your stomach, tastes too artificial and the eggs were a giant mass of green dough.

We were diverted to Chengdu, because of bad weather and finally made it to Chong King about 7 hours later

No wheelchair service at all ( I did request that service and also purchased the priority assistant bundle) , what a waste of money

Never got the wheelchair service when my parents arrived at LA . My mom was 74 , also my dad was 84 years old, both don’t speak English. I double checked with the front desk at Phoenix airport, making sure that they will be taking care of.

Food was terrible. Fish was equal to a sausage and scrumbled eggs were terribly green with a quite weird fllavour. Everybody with me hated all options. The best food was the bread with butter.

We bought an upgrade to Business Class at the airport but did not realise that it was not the regular Business Class. The 787 Dreamliner was very dated with the seats not as comfortable as other airlines and some things were almost coming off. We were then told that because it was an upgrade at the airport, we get to sit in the BC cabin but will be served economy class food. So when everyone else got served in china ware, we were given the tray you got in economy class. The wifi does not work. It only connects to watch movies (which is the same as what you find in the ICE) but the internet does not work. The cabin crew while were friendly, were not responsive. Overall, I will never fly China Southern again.

I love flying Chinese airlines in general but China Southern is probably the worst of the lot. The service is poor and food is below par.

Flight canceled, but they didn't notify me. They arranged a nearby hotel and 4 meals for me to stay for 24 hours before I could board.

Had some luggage loading delays but it was still a good experience

We bought the business class tickets. The check-in staff and onboard crew were excellent, providing commendable service throughout. However, it was disappointing to find that China Southern Airlines does not have a lounge at SFO. Instead, passengers were provided with a $35 per person food voucher, which fell short of expectations. Furthermore, the quality of the onboard food left much to be desired, marking a significant decline compared to our previous flight experience in 2019, prior to the pandemic.

The temperature of the plane cabin is too hot. Sweat and uncomfortable. Also my food tray was broken down drinks fall off

Reasonable. What they offer during the flight is not great, but the crew is polite and try to compensate it.

Price is the main attraction. Staff is OK but difficult to communicate with them due to general lack of English. Food is truly abysmal, the main courses (4) were barely edible. The choices for breakfast served at 5:30 am prior to landing at Gatwick airport were Spaghetti Bolognese or seafood fried rice. Choices offered for all 4 mains were either something rice or noodles. Shanghai airport layover is much too long in a very poorly serviced airport. We were unable to use WiFi; private lounges required cash only payment with no ATM or cash exchange open.

Flight was delayed for more than 3 hours, food was mediocre, seat didn’t recline

I think it’s time that somebody set a standard for the temperature in the cabins. I would rather it be colder than anybody that wants to have a blanket have a blanket to keep it so warm at times is unbearable and quite uncomfortable. That’s the only thing I would add.

For the price we paid, we had a really good flight. The seats and bed (business class) was extremely comfortable. I have no complaints. The crew were very attentive and helpful. They spoke English and there were no misunderstanding although their English wasn’t perfect or fluent. You will never go hungry as there was ample food and drinks but their food for mediocre. The entertainment was limited to older movies and the wifi didn’t allow you to access some Social media. Apart from the above, it was a very pleasant flight. Would highly recommend them.

Good airline for the price. The Air stewardess are great, nothing is to much trouble. Will use again.

Cheapest option from Gatwick £400 cheaper than Emirates and Qatar. Entertainment no where near as good as Emirates and Qatar, but saved £400 so all good.

Great staff and food. Seats pretty uncomfortable but plenty of legroom. Entertainment system outdated.

The flight was cancelled without any reason. But the next flight to Shanghai has to be cancelled to pay penalty.

Not sure who to "blame" but I booked the ticket from SiChuan airline overseas. On the day of flight at the airport, I learnt that our passport information was not entered into the system. I was told by the SiChuan airline that this is not the first time that ticket booked overseas missing ID information. Since airport ticket counter does not have authority to add ID information, we have to call SiChuan airline customer service, Luckily, we arrived at the airport early enough to handle this and SiChuan airline customer service has been very helpful.

Dad experience when you check in in chenddu airport , service need to improve

Not good experience when you checkin in China, service need to prove

Pros: "Economy seats were actually pretty comfortable and the staff was very attentive."
Cons: "The vegetarian food was basically unsalted, watery rice and fruit. By the third round of it (long flight w/ 2 dinners and 1 breakfast) I just didn’t eat it. The entertainment also advertises movies and shows that they don’t have. Small selection that could be better."
Pros: "I liked getting to my destination safely."
Cons: "The boarding process was chaos and when we finally boarded, the seats were extremely uncomfortable. There also wasn’t any choice of entertainment and the movie that was playing had no way to have audio (no headphone jacks to plug into)"
Cons: "The flight was delayed for hours, ridiculous. Do better. No excuses."
