The QANTAS flight staff are great. I also like that they don't go down the aisle with trolleys a lot (just for the meals) and that they just come around with jug and cup for drinks."

The crew didn't apologize and gave the impression that we either take it or too bad. Won't be recommending this airline."

Pros: "First time I flew Qantas and it was a flight from Melb- Dubai and then Dubai - London. I sat in row 62 and the food three times the food selection had run out the fruits and beef curry. I wasn't able to check in online which was quite annoying. The crew from Melb-Dubai were fantastic. So friendly and talkative and I think one was called Jordan."

Pros: "I cannot thank the Qantas staff enough for our recent, very smooth trip from Melbourne to Dubai. I was a little worried about the 14 hour trip since I am 7 months pregnant and wanted to be sure I had enough room to move about as needed. Both the desk and plane staff arranged for my husband and myself to have 4 seats to ourselves (luckily, it wasn't a full flight!) which allowed me to rest and put my feet up (literally!) through our long journey. They also checked on us frequently to make sure we were comfortable throughout. Thanks so much Qantas, we will definitely be traveling with you again with our little one in tow!"

I also appreciated the many bottles and glasses of water that were offered to keep us hydrated. Several different snack options were offered throughout the trip, if one was hungry."
Cons: "The flight boarded and departed a little late so this made connections a little tight at the other end. The floors in the toilet were usually damp from splashes and handwashing. Maybe this is already done, but it would be nice if they were wiped down periodically. Crying children are often a problem on airplanes and this was the case again on this flight. Not sure of a solution but they do affect everyone nearby."

Gave a hell of a bad time but finally allowed. These people don't know the policies and just harass customers."

I had not read the carry-on baggage restrictions well and my bag ended up being just a little too big so it had to be checked. Although it wasn't a good situation for me, it was my fault and I appreciate that you hold to your policy!"

They came through the cabin several times with drinks and snacks and ensured we had the most comfortable flight possible. I thought the entertainment choices were excellent and really provided a wide array of genres and a unique multicultural assortment. Meals were very good, served in generous portions, and having a vegetarian diet I was happy to be so easily accommodated. I was lucky enough on this flight to have a row to myself so I could spread out."

Booked the whole flight with BA including a connecting flight with JAL. Couldn't check-in online for the JAL flight and there was no clear information as to whether our baggage would be automatically transferred or whether we would have to collect (as was the case)."

There was no possible way I could have done this in an hour. You need a two hour layover minimum to complete this. As a result I missed my connection and was stuck in Heathrow for hours. Flights with this short of a layover should not be sold."
