Pros: Early morning flight meant no delays. Walked straight on the flight and we were off. No fuss...

Cons: The flight announcements were loud and abrasive which woke everyone sleeping on the early morning flight. No doubt is was that particular cabin manager and not the norm.

Cons: It was 1 hr delayed then when boarded there was some technical fault and we were left boarded with door open for about an hour. There was no offer of water or any drink. Seats I didn’t find comfortable. The cabin had significant rattle. Overall a very poor experience in today’s day and age.

Cons: Everything. The staff was completely unorganized and understaffed and incredibly rude and unhelpful.

Cons: This companies business model is high friction. I ended up with two tickets for my daughter on the same flights as one of their affiliates had problems with their website so it told me I wasn’t successful booking when i later found out the message was wrong. In the interim i booked the small flights on Tiger. I called both companies 4 times got the usual Asian call center responses and finally someone had the guts to tell me they would do nothing about it. Just insane and that’s what you will be if you ignore my advice. My daughter ended up with two flights she could never use and they would not do a single thing to help apart from go through their call center script to keep their jobs. You have been warned. Kayak should never refer people to gotogate.com. They offer similar customer service and would also do nothing.

Cons: wouldnt want a longer journey as the seats are narrow and uncomfortable

Pros: Agents at the desk were much more friendly, however Jetstar's policies are self-serving and as such the agents are hard pressed to offer any kind of customer service.

Cons: No options for check in baggage when I purchased the ticket online, so baggage cost me $260 at check-in. Agents at the desk were extremely indifferent and borderline rude, overall extremely unhelpful. Airplane interior was dingy, seat cushions were worn down and flat, extremely limited leg space (I cannot stress enough how inadequate the leg space was), no entertainment. No complimentary drinks, not even water.

Pros: It is a short trip and it is easy to get on and off the flight without too much hassle. Except when it is raining as you have to walk from the terminal to the plane. No Food or Entertainment is provided as it is such a short flight

Cons: Multiple flights a day to Sydney from OOL. Ours was delayed so many times that other flights came and left! Not one long delay...delay after delay after delay that added up to two hours. If we would have known that in the beginning we would have been more understanding. I thought for sure the airline would offer a beverage in the flight or something to make up for it. Nope. Just don’t fly JetStar. Really. It’s not worth the money you save.
