Pros: Roomy seats, good meal, friendly staff.

Cons: Boarding was disorganized and confusing, no where to sit at gate.

Pros: New plane, nice crew, good entertainment, good food.

Cons: The flight was delayed by 4 1/2 hours and it was handled horribly. First, I had to wait at check-in for 1 hour despite having checked in online. Next, we were told hourly-wise to check-in at the gate to find out when our flight would leave. This was a hassle and caused me a lot of stress since I had to make new plans with a new itinerary for my arrival in Chile where I was supposed to meet my elderly parents. The staff kept telling me they didn't know when we'd leave asking me to check back four times before they were able to give me a definite time. Aweful experience that caused me a lot of stress and inconvenience.

Pros: Excellent service. Short flight, arriving in time.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: The food we were served was of excellent quality which is so unusual when it comes to airline meals, crew and service was great as well. Obviously Air NewZealand have a far better understanding of what there customer base require compared to their competitors

Cons: The chicken pasta meal was pretty dried out and terrible

Cons: Breakfast was not tasty. Options could have been better.

Pros: I was recovering from a cold and didn't anticipate having ear problems but during decent I began to experience some pain. It was all new to me as I had never been through this before. Fortunately the crew was kind and they provided a sinus decongestant in a cup for me to sniff and breath in so the smell could open up my nasal passages and it helped a bit.

Cons: The sharp decent while arriving.

Pros: Most of the flight attendants were helpful and friendly

Cons: One of my pet dislikes would be when some passengers have oversized carryon luggage that take up all the room in the overhead compartment of their own and the next one! My bag was about 3 compartments in front of me, which I didn’t mind, until someone tried to claim my bag as theirs...

Pros: Comfortable, clean, helpful crew, charging for devices, good meal, very pleasant experience altogether would definitely fly Air NZ again.

Cons: This was ok

Pros: I loved the process and crew communication in consideration of the amount of passengers.

Cons: Considering the media coverage of an airborne virus killing people seemingly quickly - I would have expected an airline (travelling from the genesis of the disease) to supply face masks.... the crew and other passengers expressed similar concerns, perhaps a decent consideration.

Cons: Had to pay significant fees for checked bag even though it was an international flight

Cons: I didn't like that you have a limit at 7 kg at cabine bag. I came from Europe with a 10 kg cabine bag with WizzAir., then I continued with Saudia. I observed that Jetstar has that limit and I was obligged to take a checked luggage

Cons: I booked an international flight between Syndey, Australia and Auckland, New Zealand on Jetstar. About a two weeks prior to our trip I received an email that, among other things, asked if I needed to Pay for "extra baggage". Naive me! I assumed that on an international flight that one bag was at no charge. But NO! When I got to the counter to check in for the flight I was told that since I hadn't paid for our one bag per person prior to now, that they would be charging us $100 US per bag. If we had purchased it prior to checking in the cost would have been $20 per bag. After paying $200 for our two bags I felt totally taken advantage of. Beware. "Extra Baggage" means ANY baggage!

Pros: The crew, food, entertainment made the flight comfortable

Cons: I felt I was gouged on my 2nd bag fee with an outrageous cost of $200.00 aud or $150.00US. It only weighed 20lbs. as well.

Pros: It was s safe flight.

Cons: I didn't feel valued and appreciated. Poor options for complementary food service.

Pros: The economy seats are pretty comfy considering so many other airlines, however it does make it a bit difficult to eat with a knife and fork at meal times. But the idea of a recliner seat is great! Decent in-flight entertainment.

Cons: Maybe a little more space to be able to eat a little comfortably would help. But I can understand that it's an infrastructural change that might not be possible.

Pros: The price

Cons: The tight quarters, and the fact that I had to pay for a cup of tea. I also thought that the 160$ fee for a bag was completely ridiculous. I was traveling from another country and would not have known to pre buy baggage.

Pros: No the crew weren’t amazing & the seats were just okay. The flight was pretty full. The guy driving made two safe landings at Avalon

Cons: Jetstar - c,mon, it’s an airborne bus really.

Pros: I loved our crew! Super friendly and willing to assist you in anything that was needed.

Cons: The extra baggage fees, my bad, I thought I had paid for it. Luckily I stored most of it in Sydney, since I was only going to be in Auckland for a day. We left 45 minutes late without explanation...that was lame. I don't think I will fly with them again unless I just bring a backpack.

Pros: They charged me so much for extra luggage even I prepaid online for extra luggage prior to getting to airport. Yet the ticket counter lady made me pay an additional fee and all together I ended paying more for extra bags fee than the ticket itself! both Virgin and JetStar are VERY stingy on extra luggage fees. I came from the US to Australia and traveled domestically while there with all the luggage that I brought from the US. So I had to pay so much in fees when my trip was already so expensive! It makes me reconsider wanting to travel again anywhere anytime soon, so discouraging! Also they make me take stuff out of my big suitcase and transfer to my carry on, in front of everyone at the ticket counter I had to open my suitcase and transfer some stuff so the weight is under a certain weight. Still they charged me for extra luggage. I came international on Qantas from USA to Australia, so all the domestic locations I went to I was charged

Cons: Plane was delayed. Second Virgin flight in a row for me.

Pros: The price and ease of use to buy the tickets were amazing.

Cons: I bought travel insurance to ensure that if anything came up, the trip would be covered. Because of the fire in Australia and my asthma, my doctor recommended I no longer go on the trip. With my doctor's note, we were able to get a full refund on our airBnB rentals, but not on our flights. Turns out the travel insurance doesn't cover natural disasters and pre-existing conditions. It only covered if I got a disease right now and my doctor said I couldn't travel now. When we bought the tickets, the fires weren't drastically destroying much of the country's landscape and the air quality. I was still able to cancel the trip, but I only got $358 back from my $758 travel payment, and it cost me $100 processing fee. I pretty much only got $258 back. I also paid $50 for travel insurance that didn't really cover anything. I don't think I'm ever going to buy travel insurance ever again. It is what it is, and my health is more important than money...but still...

Pros: All was good

Pros: Getting there in one piece.

Cons: Very small selection of movies and shows. Breakfast meal horrible. Heartburn within half hour.

Pros: Staff service was excellent.

Cons: Paid for Qantas but got Latam. Not at all the same quality of flight material. Heat hearing strange clicks that I have never experienced on other flights.

Pros: This was AA flying for Quantas and it was all very nice; the taste of the food left something to be desired, but it was all decent portions and we were fed three times. The staff was terribly accommodating and friendly. The entertainment was top notch! The flight was smooth and was as comfortable as a 12 hour flight can be. After the hellish experience I had at both O'hare and LAX, it was a lovely way to end/begin the trip.

Cons: Being a Star Alliance Gold member and Premier 1K on United Airlines I was expecting a bit more than water and a lolly. Yes, we did only buy the "seat" ticket, but come on a soda was an added cost. I don't see us flying AZ again anytime in the near future.

Pros: Staff was friendly

Cons: Very tight small space, food not great quality. Also a lot of plastic used, hope there is a recycling program in place or strives to reduce the waste for the food.

Cons: Kayak to Virgin Australia to Air NZ - we had a long layover and surprised by 0 bag check in and very expensive charge, When asking for help all told to go to the other : for earlier flight - huge charges - no help : bags - no help and we paid onerous amounts. All bad and with lots of frustration trying to get help.

Pros: Plane was fine.

Cons: Awful baggage experience. Forced to check my carry-on and pay an absurd fee even tho (1) it is sized for the overhead bin, (2) the plane bins were well-sized, and (3) there were few passengers on board. Time and money wasted.

Cons: Terrible airline and airport system... the boarding system is a disaster... after waiting in line for so long they send you to different counters to pay for bags... on top of that they didn’t check in one of the 6 in my group by the attendant’s mistake and they closed the flight in us...there is a bussing system that “takes you to the plane” and when we finally made it to our gate the bus made their last of the 2 trips to the plane. So we lost our flight to Cusco and ruined our entire first day of touring in Cusco..... your system or multiple check in/ cashier/customer service counters is a disaster and it makes zero sense. I will NOT fly latam again.

Pros: Business class seats require improvement

Cons: Flight running late causing ongoing difficulties later in the evening. Flight crew could have been more aware and in control of rowdy, annoying passengers causing difficulties for others.

Cons: Virgin Australia operated by air New Zealand. Couldnt check in online and had to be chat he been.

Pros: Crew was friendly

Cons: Plane was old. Seats were old and stained. Multiple monitors did not work so no entertainment.

Pros: Skycouch in Economy was wonderful. Although small, it was sufficient in order to get comfortable and get several hours of sleep on a long flight. Entertainment system was outstanding, with excellent selections of movies, TV, TED talks & music. Plus, ordered water, beverages and snacks at any time via the screen and it was delivered to my seat. We had a seat change request at the gate which was resolved by the gate agent who was amazing.

Cons: Check in and bag drop area needed personnel to assist and answer questions. It was not clear what to do and we stood in along line that we could have avoided if there had been a customer service rep to guide us.

When I suggest to a staff member that perhaps they should keep customers informed, they said they couldn’t because they didn’t know. They helpfully suggested I google for information! Seriously!

Pros: NYE celebration aboard, lovely staff, easy and peaceful flight

Cons: The delay was out of there hands and other passengers did not listen to instructions So not there fault really

Pros: I was really worried about being on a plane for 14+ hours, but it was great! It was very comfortable with plenty of room. They also had the best airline food I've ever tasted! I will fly virgin Australia again!

Cons: Everything was absolutely wonderful. No complains here!
