Pickup location DID NOT EXIST.. Reservation was automatically changed to an address on the OTHER SIDE of Los Angeles With NO Notice. Called and they refused to move the reservation to a closer location.

Cons:

When we got to the rental place in union station they informed us they were all out of cars even though we booked a convertible and had that reservation confirmed for several weeks prior. No one informed us that they ran out of cars until we arrived the day off. Very poor experience.

Pros:

They were closed during the time I was supposed to pick up my car so I didn’t even get a rental.

Cons:

Only charging someone for a car when they can actually pick the car up. I had to rent from another agency and the original rental I chose had a no refund policy so I’m out $200!

The staff was super unfriendly and didn’t even have a car ready for me though I made a reservation. I won’t be renting through Hertz again.

KAYAK
Gave me the car with half a tank and said to return it that way but when I returned it they said it had to be a full tank. Luckily I had paperwork proving it but I don’t think I should have to go through that.
