Staff on the plane was incredible. Check-in was very complicated with no staff to help at the airport. I was charged for a second bag even though my ticket says 2 bags are free
Our flight gor canceled and there was no one to help us but told us to scan the qr code and fill the forms on-line. Very poor service especially we are tourists traveling to Washington DC for the 1st time.
Flight was delayed 5 hours. Updates kept changing. Sears were extremely cramped. Very little leg room. Flight attendant was rushing through with drinks and hit me in the knee either the cart and didn’t apologize. They gave a 15 dollar voucher in airport which doesn’t buy. Much and it was so late that choices were limited.
I bought this ticket for my daughter. She had to pay for her carry on bag to be checked. My understanding is that transatlantic flights included carry on and personal item The nickeling and diming fo legacy carriers has stooped to an all time low. So sad.
It's fine but Newark to Nashville was too long
The flight was delayed because they closed several flight ways because of air shows, fire works, etc.
I was exhausted from a long day. The flight was smooth. The first flight during my 3 week travel that took off on time.
Crew was amazing, takeoff wonderful. The bathroom was disgusting from before takeoff the odor made the flight uncomfortable as you could smell the bathroom from the center of the plane where we were sitting. Smelled like raw sewage. My daughter was throwing up as we landed due to the smell and horrible turbulence as we approached Newark.
I'm a United 1K member and have ben for 10 years. The gate agent had no control over the boarding process and had us passengers queued for hours as delays were announced. On the plane, the overhead air nozzle was broken so col over was powering through on me and the passenger next to me. Not a great experience for a million miler on United. Feel free to contact me. It was a problem because there was a delay where we sat before taking off from newark,then when landed in Toronto we sat on tarmac and they wouldn't let us out for a long period of time. When we finally were released to the airport in Toronto the attendant scanned our boarding pass that we were here for our connection to Brazil. We ran all the way to the gate and they said at the gate the door is shut so we can not let you on the plane. We explained that we were checked in by the attendant when we arrived at Toronto airport to go to Brazil and they should not have shut the door. We were ignored at the gate
My flight from New York to Canada and Canada to Brisbane was canceled, so I had to take united airlines instead flight from New York to Dubai then layover in Dubai 8 hours then from Dubai to Brisbane it was extremely difficult for me , it was a nightmare flying with Canadian airlines unfortunately.
The Air Canada staff at the gate in Newark were fantastic and so very helpful!!!
Flight was delayed 1.5 hours as crew was stuck in traffic...that is absurd that the airline would be transfering a crew by car through NYC during rush hour. I missed my shuttle bus and got stuck in Vancouver for the night. Airline did not offer a voucher
Republic was fine but Air Canada was terrible in the airport. They issues me a boarding pass that I placed in my wallet and then when I showed up at the airport they had taken the bar code away from the ticket because they changed the flight number even though the flight stayed the same time. This caused me to be unable to go through security and I had to go to Air Canada for help and they were horrible and almost caused me to miss my flight. Luckily I managed to get it figured out on my own phone, not the kiosks, or the agent I asked for help or the long line I was standing in!!
Newark to Montreal was really good. The return flight was not so good with a substitute carrier was not as good. I was impressed by the AC staff all along the way. Their in flight stack was superior.
Very poor.!!! They cancelled our flight and rebooked us with very little time to catch the flight. Our luggage was lost. As of now we do not have it yet. No clothes to change on the second day of vacation.
Seats uncomfortable There was an incident with plane Engine Pilot was reassuring. Good pilot We landed late because of this Fire engines on landing were just Protocol
Internet wouldn’t work even after I paid for the package. That was my only real complaint, otherwise excellent.
First time flying Air Canada staff was helpful from entering Newark Airport thru boarding and baggage and on flight. Entertainment was good on flight Helpful on landing as well
