Cons: "Quantas seems to have frequent gate changes. You have to pay attention. No WiFi in terminals despite posted signs."

Cons: "Qantas left our luggage in Sydney. Once we were in Koh Samui it was up to Bangkok Airways to sort it out. The file reference we were given wasn't recognised by the Qantas website, the three phone numbers in Bangkok just gave a 'number disconnected' message and one was no answer. We had to cancel a planned event on day two and shop for clothes for a specific activity on day three. The only way to make contact with Qantas was via Instagram, Luggage did appear but so far no contact or apology from Qantas. We will not fly with Qantas again. Virgin Australia is our carrier of choice who outperform Qantas in every respect. This flight was gifted so we had no choice."

The crew was not very friendly during the flight (I understand maybe they had a cranky passenger before and it was a long flight but smiling isnt that hard!). Inflight service was inconsistent as one side came down to serve 15minutes after the first side. The headphones looked quite dirty so I used my own. Boarding was quite slow and then takeoff was late but it was nice that the captain explained it."

Pros: "Virgin Australia’s staff is some of the most friendly and professional staff I’ve flown with. They go above and beyond to be hospitable. Also, this particular flight was an evening flight and they even had complimentary snacks- not just peanuts but actual crackers and cheese. There was a small delay in the beginning due to crew having to come from another late aircraft but they handled it very professionally and despite starting late, still got us to our destination ahead of schedule."

But after we booked we realized a third-party website – Webjet- would be handling our tickets which resulted in many problems. We ended up needing to change our itinerary in a simple way that would’ve been easy to do through the airline but webjet would not accommodate without spending $2500 in ticket fees. To avoid that we had to book additional tickets and take an additional flight that ended up being cheaper but quite the hassle that took way longer"

Then when I tried to check in at Jetstar online it showed I had no checked bags WHY?! then I complained about it in an online chat and the chat agent would not agree and said I had to pay for checked bags if I had any and said he/she could do that and asked how much the bags weighed. Since I did not know and could not answer how much the weighed I decided to check them online myself since it gave me options for weight/price I knew our bags would be under - the chat ended and I proceeded to try to pay for one bag each online. However, after more than a half dozen attempts which were all rejected I had to close the online check in and leave as we were running short on time to get things done and get to the airport. At the airport I told all this to the agent at bag check and she would do noting but charged me about $240 for the two bags - grossly more than the $28 for one and $38 for the other that I was trying to pay online & roughly as much as the cost of the flights! Will you please let me know what can be done to get my money back as this is just not right?"

Cons: "Upon boarding a flight from Sydney to Avalon I was told my duffel bag was too large to carry on the plane even though I had been allowed to fly a few days prior with the same bag. I even placed my bag in the sizer at the gate but she still told me it was too large and "too heavy" although she did not weigh nor pick up my bag. About 5 minutes prior I had seen her walk a guitar that had been gate checked down to the plane. My bag was not so lucky. I arrived at Avalon and my bag didn't. My bag was going to arrive on the next plane which wasn't coming in for 3 hours. We were staying about an hour from the airport and boarding an early morning flight from Tullamarine to Los Angeles. Deliveries of missed luggage ceased 2 hours before my bag was due at the airport and didn't commence until after I was due at Tullamarine the next morning. The flight attendant who made me check my bag was on my flight and easily could have told me my bag wouldn't be making it on our flight but she didn't. She was rude, smug, and unaccomodating. The customer service representative at Avalon, Debbie, was more than helpful trying to figure out the best option for me to retrieve my luggage before my flight home to Los Angeles. She made a stressful situation a little less so. Thank you Debbie!"

Cons: "The fact that they did not mention ahead of time that if I check bag at airport there was going to be a 50 dollar charge but if I had checked the night before on line only a 25 dollar charge. That does not seem fair expecially since they don't seen you email or anything telling you this in advance. The ticket agent at the airport told me."

Cons: "The movie selection wasn't geared to someone like me. I paid for the entertainment pack but ended up watching reruns of TVs shows I'd already seen."

Cons: "There's no entertainment however the flight is only one hour"

Pros: "Food was good and crew provided good service."
Cons: "Seat was uncomfortable but was more because person behind was large and kept digging their knees into my back. I was also not able to recline my seat because of their large size. I would have happily paid a little extra to be upgraded away from this passenger to ensure a more comfortable flight."
