Cons:
upon return i learned that the location was closed after being looted during the george floyd protests in chicago. i totally understand that these were unique circumstances, but it would have been great to get a phone call so i didn't have to drive all the way to the south side and back. i feel like that's the only real reason for them to need to contact me, and they insisted on having two contact phone numbers. this would have been a good time to use them!9.2 Wonderful

Pros:
I reserved my car from Chicago branch but I pick up my car from Schaumburg, IL location. This was GREAT! Unfortunately I reserved my car with $70 something but Schaumburg brach charged me more which was not acceptable but but I said OK because I was in need to pick up the car to commute to Chicago while there was a rumor on the news about the "state lockdown". Also I had a drop of location in Boston but when I called the Cambridge brach the gentlemen said "you can drop off my location". So this was great again. I didn't have to go to Boston branch for drop off.Cons:
I really appreciate about the fast and easy pick up and drop off process and friendly associates. I rented the car for two days but I arrived to Chicago in one day.SO if I new that if I drop off the car in one day I'll be charged just for one day I would go and drop off the car earlier and save money while I already charged extra at the pick up location. I did not like that the car that I chose was not available. This place has limited options. It took about 30-40minutes to get my car rental since they had to clean it. The car also did not have a full tank of gas. Recommend going to another place.5.2 Fair

Picking up the car in Chicago , the car was not ready even though we had a reservation. We had to wait for a car to be cleaned and wait for the staff to share a device to check the car out. Should not happen with a reservation. The Detroit staff was great.5.2 Fair

I reserved an Enterprise Rental for pick-up at O'Hare, or I thought I did. When I got to O'Hare, the Enterprise manager stated my pick-up location was in the City of Chicago and this happens when booking through 3rd parties like Kayak. Took an extra 15 minutes. Better disclosures!!!!Hertz

The people at Hertz, particularly Peter and the store manager, were fantastic. Super helpful when Priceline gave me the wrong pick-up time.Cons:
Priceline and Kayak told me to arrive at 5PM to pick up the car, and when I arrived Hertz told me they close at 5 and final pickup is 4:45. Priceline and Kayak should be telling people these things! They shouldn't say "arrive at 5" when that's the closing time. It almost ruined my trip, but fortunately the people at Hertz broke the rules and let me in to rent their last car.2.0 Poor

The car's exterior had not been washed when I picked it up. Also, when I dropped off the car I walked into the office and there was no one in the office or the lot for a full 10 minutes...very weird. No explanation offered. The Ford Focus seemed to have some transmission problems.2.0 Poor
