Charged us for the toll pass when we didn’t need it. Since they charged us for the toll pass we decided to take the toll. The toll pass was then invalid and we couldn’t use it. We spoke with Charles and Evelyn who confirmed they would reverse the fee and send and email for confirmation and never did. Horrible service.

They didn’t have my reserved car. In fact they had NO CARS. It took me 4 more hours to travel to an airport where they did have cars and then I was charged $60 in airport taxes (plus the cost of a taxi ride to pick up the vehicle). And when I wanted to return the car to the original drop off site, that was another fee. Overall a terrible experience and I cannot recommend Budget/Avis.

As a Fastbreak member I was disappointed that my reservation was canceled this weekend only a few min before I arrived at the location. This is the second time this has happened this year (first time was in LA where I waited 1.5 hours for a car). I should have learned my lesson then.

I reserved a car at Hertz for the wrong date, so I had none. I turned to Budget and both Dante and Dierdre were enormously helpful getting me on the road. You can be happy you have employees like them.

That car takes forever to charge. That was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any rental car. The people I worked with at the front desk at all were also very short and their choice of words. I felt like my decisions were being made out for me without consulting me.

Pros:

I liked the price, but I was not able to pick up the car as the agency closed an hour earlier than Herz stated in an email.

Cons:

They could have been open. Also they were not giving me a refund.

I was overall not impressed. The car I received had gum stuck to the center console which was gross. After I returned the car, I received a call saying that there’s a “large crack that goes halfway across the windshield.” When I asked again how large the crack was because I didn’t see a crack while driving, the agent said the crack was barely visible. I explained that I did not notice a crack nor did it happen while I was driving. When I dropped the car off at 4:30 PM, the rental place was closed. I truly believe this crack either happened with the last driver and I was not informed about it when I picked the car up. Or it happened after I dropped it off. Despite this, the agent said I’m responsible for it and will need to cover the cost. Very unhappy about that.

Pros:

The scheduled pick up time was for after this location was already closed. We showed up and no one was there. Very disappointing! We had to change our plans and come back the next day. The staff was not apologetic at all and said oh yeah we tried to call you. I guess they don’t know how to use a phone because I never got a phone call. Very unprofessional and super inconvenient. Made my husband late for work. Also when we pick the car up the following morning they tried to give my husband a smaller cheaper car than what we had originally paid for no offer for an upgrade or anything better because of the inconvenience. Overall very poor experience.

Pretty much everything.
