Pros:
The people at Hertz, particularly Peter and the store manager, were fantastic. Super helpful when Priceline gave me the wrong pick-up time.Cons:
Priceline and Kayak told me to arrive at 5PM to pick up the car, and when I arrived Hertz told me they close at 5 and final pickup is 4:45. Priceline and Kayak should be telling people these things! They shouldn't say "arrive at 5" when that's the closing time. It almost ruined my trip, but fortunately the people at Hertz broke the rules and let me in to rent their last car.2.0 Poor

The young man working the counter was pleasant while telling me that they had NO CARS, NO POWER and NO WAY TO GET ME A CAR.Cons:
The reservation system needs to be in better sync with the rental location so when there's an issue like NO POWER at the pick up site and NO CARS available, a customer doesn't waste money taking an Uber to the store only to have to waste more taking another Uber home!!!Enterprise Rent-A-Car

upon return i learned that the location was closed after being looted during the george floyd protests in chicago. i totally understand that these were unique circumstances, but it would have been great to get a phone call so i didn't have to drive all the way to the south side and back. i feel like that's the only real reason for them to need to contact me, and they insisted on having two contact phone numbers. this would have been a good time to use them!5.2 Fair

Picking up the car in Chicago , the car was not ready even though we had a reservation. We had to wait for a car to be cleaned and wait for the staff to share a device to check the car out. Should not happen with a reservation. The Detroit staff was great.2.0 Poor

The car was great, and the staff was helpful and professional. The pricing, and terms were as expected and there was no high pressure for extras.Cons:
When I got there, there were no cars! I thought renting from a non airport location would save money...it did. But had to wait an extra hour for a car to be returned and cleaned. When time is tight, be cautious about inventory claims. The non-airport locations have a very thin supply, in my opinion.10.0 Wonderful
